It didn’t take long for Averie’s fanatics to invade the live stream.
With zeal that could put a knight of the dieval inquisition to sha, they imdiately began a purge.
- Extinguish the non-believers!
As if it were the roar of a general on a battlefield, the army of Averie’s fans began harassing the trolls and spamrs.
- No rcy for the heathens! Burn them!
There was chaos in the chat, but Averie didn’t address any of that.
He had no idea what to do with that particular group, and he wasn’t enthusiastic about the idea either.
He convinced himself that there was nothing wrong and read only the few sane comnts.
- Who’s the third girl?
"She is Celli. She recorded so music for this ga. We t a while back, and here we are."
- You skipped a few steps there.
Suddenly, Averie had an idea.
It was enlightennt at its best.
"Which one is the prettiest?" he asked mischievously.
The girls looked at each other, and the chatters sweated buckets.
It was clear that Hyerin looked skittish. Celli seed curious. And Min-Ha looked overconfident.
Replies began pouring in.
And anyone who answered differently than ’you,’’Averie,’’The Quinn,’ was banned instantly by the moderators, who also happened to be AQuinn mbers.
"Wow, everyone answered the sa," Averie exclaid, watching the comnts of the banned accounts get deleted. "Then, it must be true. To call the most good-looking person in the room... You lot are too nice."
Watching his tyranny, Celli questioned his sanity. Why she had invited this madman to her ho, she could not understand.
- Why do you look like you have lost weight?
"Because I did lose weight."
- What? Why? Are you alright?
- Are you sick?
"No, it’s just preparation for a role."
That one sentence was enough to send a wave of excitent through half of the Asian internet.
’[ASEA] Averie Quinn Auclair, the brilliant actor behind Asmodeus Binsfeld, currently busy filming for a new project.’
Such articles beca common within an hour.
"I will make an announcent when the ti is right."
After shirking off his responsibility to explain further, Averie continued with the stream.
"Alright, people. Before we begin, I need to announce sothing."
He clapped his hands as if he were silencing a class full of children.
"The proceeds from this stream will be donated to a charity of my choice. So, if you hate orphans, do not donate."
- You are so noble!
- You aren’t lying, right?
- I bet he is going to take the money and dangle it in front of orphans, then speed away in his Jaguar.
"Such trust is appreciated, but please don’t bring your biases here. I am a good man."
He couldn’t say that sentence without coughing and wheezing.
- I was going to send you sothing, but if I can’t give my money to soone who is already earning boatloads, I don’t want to give money at all.
- Helping children? No thanks. They need to learn the harsh reality of the world.
- My money is yours, but the children can starve for all I care.
"Even Hell won’t accept you morons." Averie narrowed his eyes. "Heathens."
That one word was enough to rouse the spirit of his inquisitors.
- Burn the Heathens!
- Kills them! No rcy!
- I am doxxing you! Doxxing you! You too!
- You get a ban! You get a ban! Everyone gets a ban!
- Hasta la Vista, baby!
Suddenly, his chat beca so charitable that donations began pouring in like STDs in a whorehouse.
"Wow, such generosity." Averie grinned. "I will be streaming only for today. But Celli will continue for a few days, so show her so support, yeah? She is pretty, so I am sure you degenerates won’t mind."
- Yasss, Quinn!
- Please, continue streaming for a few more days.
"All good things last only for a day, like all my relationships."
- Wut?
- Ayo, are you alright?
- Seek help, bruv.
"Just joking, guys. Calm down. Who let these normies in?"
- Are you going back to filming from tomorrow?
"No, I have an entire week off."
- Why not stream then?
- I want to play this ga; if you are playing it, I won’t mind watching.
"No, thank you. I have better things to do than entertain you lot."
’Need to learn how to snort coke.’
"Shall we get started, then?"
He turned to Celli.
"Is it working now?"
Celli gave a thumbs-up. "Yes."
It took a while to reinstall the drivers and change the settings. But the ga ran smoothly after that.
The second hurdle in their streaming journey was character creation.
"Gender?" Celli asked.
"You are going to be playing, so you decide."
She chose female.
"Eye color?"
"Sothing stupid."
She chose silver.
"Hair color?"
"Sothing stupid."
She chose pink.
Once the character was created, Averie found himself full of regret.
The girls had spent half an hour playing with the sliders, crafting a face that was ’cute and perfect’ in their dictionary.
’Should have created sothing ugly like Lucifer.’
In Hell, Lucifer sneezed.
"Soone must be cursing ."
He changed into a white suit and dove into his pool of lava.
"Ti for a warm soak."
He dove into the pool and brought out a monitor.
"Let’s get so gaming done."
Lucifer wondered what his favorite actor was doing. He believed he must be enjoying himself, but there was folly in the thought.
While he was warming himself, Averie was being tornted with questions.
"What should we na the character?"
Averie sighed. He just wanted to have a look at the ga.
"Let’s na her Silly Rin," Averie suggested.
A cruel grin was lingering on his lips, and Hyerin felt shivers running down her spine.
Before she could protest, the deed was done. Her friend had already typed in her pet na.
The ga began with a cutscene, which showed the player character Silly Rin arriving at a port town from a different continent.
She had only ever heard about this land from rchants and bards, or so the story said.
When the cutscene ended, the player was given control of the character.
"May I?" Averie asked.
"Sure," said Celli.
"I will only need it for a mont. Then, she is all yours!"
Silly Rin ran to the wharf and jumped into the sea.
Averie didn’t do anything to save her as Silly Rin desperately struggled against the current and the monstrous fish rushing at her.
Like a maniac, Averie silently watched as she was torn into a hundred pieces.
"Look how stupid she is," he laughed, pointing at the screen while looking at Hyerin. "She is just like you. You must be sisters!"
At that ti, Hyerin knew it was going to be a long day.
