“I don't know what you're talking about.”

The Carpenter forced a laugh.

“My grandmother was struck from behind.”

“She was a witch after all—old as she was, no one could have snuck up on her from the back.”

“Unless that person was soone she knew very well, soone she let her guard down around.”

Liu Zheng said slowly and deliberately.

“And you even know about the Wolf-Man Village matter;

there's no way my grandmother wouldn't know about it.”

“So she must have been constantly on guard against the other villagers.”

“Besides , there was only one person she might have trusted—and that's you, my childhood friend.”

“What I don't understand is, why did you have to kill her?”

He stared straight into the Carpenter’s eyes and asked.

“Because she didn't agree to us being together!”

The Carpenter, with the situation exposed, collapsed and shouted.

“She said that if a werewolf’s bloodline and a witch’s bloodline combined, both sides would lose their power.”

“She told to wait for you to grow up, to purify the forest before confessing.”

“I couldn't wait any longer!”

“I want you now!”

Hair sprouted again over the Carpenter’s body, and his eyes shifted from green to a dark, inky green.

“Brother, mine sticks out longer than yours.”

Liu Zheng shook his head and produced the Blasphemy Mixture.

Figures—how could this world let him just enjoy a board ga normally?

If Werewolf had beco a deathmatch, then just kill the others.

“Use Blasphemy Mixture?”

“Yes.”

Black flas burst from the bottle mouth and shot straight into the sky.

Fierce lightning scattered in all directions, forcing the werewolf to retreat.

But very quickly, the flas and lightning contracted and condensed into a dark-gold card.

On the card, a girl in a red cloak raised her middle finger at a sky choked with black clouds, hatred etched across her face.

Beneath her feet, lava and fury roiled, ready to erupt.

“Congratulations to Player 8 for obtaining Divine Favor Card: Blasphemy Mixture.”

“Effect: Transform into the berserk Morgana, slay the dark, purify the light. Automatically dies after one hour.”

“Announcent: Witch obtained Divine Favor Card: Blasphemy Mixture.”

“Effect: Transform into the berserk Morgana, slay the dark, purify the light. Automatically dies after one hour.”

“Ga rule change.”

“If the witch dies, other players win.”

“If other players die, the witch wins.”

The dark-gold card rged into the center of Liu Zheng’s brow.

Lightning blazed from his eyes, and terrifying black fire billowed from his nostrils.

“Ti's running out.”

“How about you just kill yourself?”

Liu Zheng said to the Carpenter.

“No! Give back my Little Red Riding Hood!”

The Carpenter paid no heed to the flas and lightning surging at him and curled his claws inward as if about to embrace tightly—or to tear soone apart.

Either way, Liu Zheng had no interest in getting intimate with a hairy male animal.

He thrust his hand into his chest and pulled out a rib.

Black fire crawled from his palm along the bone and quickly forged it into a white military spike.

God took one of Adam's ribs to make Eve, and Eve took one of her own ribs to fashion a spearhead to charge at God.

Angels call it blasphemy;

humans call it revolution.

But before Liu Zheng there was no God—only a wolf-man.

Fine, at least it was a supernatural creature.

He grabbed the military spike and drove it into the wolf-man’s eyeball.

Before the bursting gore could splash, the black fire reduced it to ash.

“Ahhh!”

The Carpenter let out a harrowing scream and clawed wildly without restraint.

Liu Zheng’s cloak was instantly shredded into tatters;

his frail body was mangled like a battered ragdoll.

But he didn't care at all.

Beneath the shell there was no flesh—only fla and lightning.

Liu Zheng had originally thought to slap the Carpenter dead and be done with it, but looking up at the sky, a different idea ca to him.

“You said you loved , yet you murdered the person who loved the most in this world.”

“You said you would protect , yet you forced to drink a death-bound Blasphemy Mixture.”

“You said you'd lead the village to prosperity, but you watched the Priest and the Hunter drag the village to ruin.”

“Apart from leaving with nothing, you have accomplished nothing.”

“Now, in the na of one who profanes, I will exercise the power of God.”

“For the sin of lust, I sentence you to death.”

Liu Zheng pulled out the military spike and plunged it down through the wolf-man’s head.

The spike sank all the way to the hilt.

“Sorry.”

The Carpenter stared blankly at him and uttered his final words.

“Saying sorry helps—so why have a witch at all?”

Liu Zheng shook his head and twisted the spike.

Black flas roared outward and burned the Carpenter into a pile of ash.

“Wonderful performance.”

The rmaid’s applause rang in his ears.

Liu Zheng allowed a faint smile—he had guessed correctly.

This ga looked like Werewolf, but it was actually a scripted murder-mystery.

And as an actor, why not improvise?

The more committed the performance, the more it would move the director.

He glanced at the Rooster’s corpse and his smile faded slightly.

After a mont’s hesitation, he set the Rooster atop the Carpenter’s ashes and burned it into ash as well, no distinction between them.

“Nice to have t you, Qin Shi Huang.”

As the words left his mouth, his body imdiately disintegrated.

Countless flas and bolts of lightning swelled and spun into a whirlwind that rose toward the sky.

In theory he would perform the full act—kill the Tyrant, the Forest Spirit, and the Nightingale.

But with only an hour, victory should take priority.

The fire whirlwind swept through the forest, turning everything in its path to a white wasteland.

Yet beneath the black ash, green shoots were sprouting.

This was the power of destruction and rebirth—the kind of force humanity should not possess.

Briefly wielded, it inevitably leads to self-destruction.

Little Red Riding Hood’s grandmother had intended to use this power herself, but the lust-blinded Carpenter had murdered her.

Now Little Red Riding Hood had to clean up the ss alone.

That was fine.

The most excellent witch should use the greatest witchcraft.

When Liu Zheng reached the village entrance, the Moderator’s voice sounded again.

“Announcent: Seer obtained Divine Favor Card: Dark Priest.”

“Effect: Gain the power of darkness, taint all, dominate werewolves.”

“Announcent: Hunter obtained Divine Favor Card: Arms Dealer Support.”

“Effect: Gain massive armants to crush money-driven enemies.”

“Announcent: Werewolf obtained Divine Favor Card: Blood Moon Full.”

“Effect: Gain the blessing of the blood moon, body strengthened threefold.”

A string of announcents left Liu Zheng reeling.

He didn't believe it was that convenient: the mont he got the Blasphemy Mixture, these guys suddenly received Divine Favor Cards.

They must have already had the items and were holding them back, waiting to ambush other players.

However, before absolute power, any sche is like an insect trying to stop a cart.

The black fla whirlwind swelled again and completely obscured the sky above the village.

Even the blood moon was veiled by the black smoke, its light reduced to a dim glimr.

The werewolves, feeling their power decline, emitted frantic howls.

They had completely lost human form;

only the masks on their faces marked their identities.

Player 3 and Player 6.

A priest in a black robe stroked their heads and soothed them.

Prominently, the priest's mask bore the number 4.

Opposite the Priest, the engine of a heavy tank kept roaring.

Player 2, wearing camouflage, leaned out and carried a Gatling gun.

Player 7 stood by the tank’s flank with a shoulder-mounted rocket launcher.

“Hiding in so deep holes, huh.”

Liu Zheng manifested a fiery silhouette and said with feeling.

He never would have guessed that Player 4 was the Seer.

“Pride.”

He pointed at the Priest.

“Gluttony.”

He pointed at the werewolf.

“Greed.”

He pointed at the Hunter.

“Too bad, still three short.”

“But it's the imperfections that make it beautiful.”

“All right, everyone, you should wrap it up.”

Liu Zheng laughed loudly and once more beca a black, burning cloud that descended upon the entire village.
