"Is that Wolf Knight very strong?"
Liu Zheng asked.
"The Wolf Knight isn't particularly strong, but his three-headed hellhound is extrely vicious."
"More importantly, he's that person's close brother."
The plane tree said with a grave expression.
"That person?"
"Exactly, that person. We dare not speak his na because for trees, he's more terrifying than lumberjacks."
The leaves rustled as if Delago was trembling.
"He must have so nickna at least."
Liu Zheng said.
"He has many nicknas - Urban Ranger, Wandering Master, The Man Who Touches Bears... But we trees generally call him the Fire Mage."
The plane tree said slowly.
"Fire Mage?"
"Indeed, because he enjoys setting fires everywhere. Lumberjacks chop our bodies, but that man burns our souls."
The plane tree trembled even more violently.
"Then it seems we can't get that hat after all."
Liu Zheng said regretfully.
"Not necessarily. I've heard the Fire Mage and Wolf Knight are fond of gourt food. If you can obtain Perfect-grade als or large quantities of Fine-grade als, they should be willing to trade."
The plane tree cald down as it spoke.
"Large quantities of Fine-grade als..."
He looked toward the legendary delivery box.
This didn't seem entirely impossible.
"Wouldn't they just rob directly?"
Liu Zheng thought of another problem.
"Probably not. This city has rules, and those two aren't known for being utterly vicious."
The plane tree shook its branches.
"Compared to them, the garbage landfill itself is actually more dangerous."
"I heard from Bullhorse that soone called Black Claw had his intestines pulled out at the garbage landfill."
He recalled the conversation between Bullhorse and Oink.
"I know Black Claw. He used to run wild on this street, peeing everywhere. No wonder I haven't seen him lately - turns out he's been butchered."
The plane tree said with sudden realization.
"What exactly is the garbage landfill?"
Liu Zheng asked. Thɪs chapter is updated by novᴇlfire
"The garbage landfill is where they bury garbage, obviously."
The plane tree looked at him strangely.
Why could this human ask such stupid questions?
"When I complete the legendary deliveryman set, I'll host a grand appreciation event. And guess who won't be getting an invitation?"
He said with a completely straight face.
"You wouldn't dare!"
The plane tree beca furious.
"I absolutely would. If you don't want Bullhorse to be the first to appreciate them, answer my questions patiently."
Liu Zheng threatened.
"That stupid donkey doesn't know shit about appreciation!"
The plane tree scread reflexively.
But Liu Zheng's threat worked, as its explanation beca much more detailed.
"The garbage landfill is basically a giant cesspit. The Municipal Governnt throws everything inedible and hazardous in there."
"And those who can't survive elsewhere, along with scheming individuals, have gathered at the garbage landfill, making it even more dangerous."
"Don't think just because Bullhorse dares to take you to the Black Market that he'd dare take you to the garbage landfill. He'd be turned into jerky in minutes."
The plane tree said all in one breath.
"Is there no safe way to enter the garbage landfill?"
"There is. If you befriend the Fire Mage, entering and leaving the garbage landfill would be like going ho."
The plane tree said.
"You're just talking in circles here."
Liu Zheng rolled his eyes.
"At least let finish first."
The plane tree said discontentedly.
"Go on, go on."
"The reason the Fire Mage is also called the Urban Ranger is because he appears in various places throughout the city. Whether you encounter him depends on your luck."
The plane tree said.
"Luck?"
Liu Zheng's eyes flickered.
He had already returned that Lucky Joker card to Bullhorse. Looks like he needed to find a way to get it back.

"Halt."
Arriving at the entrance of Jiahe New Residence Community, the security guard unsurprisingly stopped him again.
"Just say it - do you want at or cigarettes?"
Liu Zheng sighed.
He had to go through this routine every ti. Even if these guys weren't tired of it, he certainly was.
If real security guards dared to act like this, he'd knock their walkie-talkies flying.
"Who are you insulting?"
The narrow-eyed security guard instantly beca furious.
"Then, how about this?"
He produced several banknotes with his mucus.
Now that Liu Zheng could control his tentacles to secrete mucus, it wasn't very useful for fighting, but quite convenient for daily tasks.
"You're insulting my integrity!"
The narrow-eyed security guard gritted his teeth, his hand moving toward the baton at his waist.
"My apologies for underestimating you. Please don't take offense."
Liu Zheng imdiately apologized.
"That's more like it."
The narrow-eyed security guard snorted.
"I'm a security guard with ideals and ambitions. Don't lump together with the trash of this industry."
"Understood, understood. May I enter now?"
"No."
The narrow-eyed security guard said bluntly.
"You won't take money, yet you won't let through. You're making this very difficult for , brother."
He said helplessly.
anwhile, he secretly gathered strength in his body.
"Our community is hosting a tenth-anniversary celebration. Outsiders are not permitted to enter."
"Unless?"
"Unless you complete a challenge or perform a talent."
The narrow-eyed security guard said.
"What challenge?"
"Pick one yourself."
The narrow-eyed security guard produced several posters.
"Pirate Ship Deck One-Legged Standing Challenge"
"Flying Saucer Ninety-Nine Circle Straight Line Walking Challenge"
"Ten-Speed Carousel Lyric Chain Challenge"
......
There were ten challenge activities in total, each more extre than the last.
Liu Zheng picked up the final poster, which showed a middle-aged man in a suit with an ashen face standing at the edge of a rooftop.
"Rooftop Rope-Free Bungee Upright Challenge."
What kind of bungee jump was this? This was clearly just jumping off a building.
"I'll choose this one."
He handed the poster back to the narrow-eyed security guard.
In his "Flesh Rebirth" state, Liu Zheng feared crushing injuries most, followed by cutting wounds. Blunt force trauma basically didn't matter as long as he protected his brain.
"Follow ."
The narrow-eyed guard took the poster and led him into the community.
The mont Liu Zheng stepped through the community gates, his vision blurred.
When his sight recovered, he found himself already on the rooftop.
The setting looked exactly like the one in the poster.
"Fellow residents, this delivery gentleman has voluntarily signed up for the Rooftop Rope-Free Bungee Upright Challenge. Let's applaud his courage!"
The narrow-eyed security guard shouted loudly.
As soon as he finished speaking, enthusiastic applause erupted from all around.
"Thank you, thank you."
Liu Zheng waved toward the empty air.
"Excellent, please have the challenger take position."
Under the narrow-eyed security guard's guidance, he stepped into a painted circle.
Liu Zheng looked down at the ground below, where a pool of blood caught his eye.
This probably belonged to that middle-aged man in the suit.
"The resident judging committee will score your performance during the jump. If your score is high enough, you might even receive a small gift."
The narrow-eyed security guard said.
You just said "jump," didn't you? Not even bothering to pretend anymore?
Liu Zheng looked at him with dead eyes.
"I'll count down from three, then you jump."
The narrow-eyed security guard took a step back.
"Three."
"Two."
"One."
"Jump!"
"Jump! Jump down already!"
The audience's urging transford into massive sound waves, pushing at Liu Zheng from behind.
He curled his lips and leaped into the air.
