Heavenly Restriction User of the Gojo Clan: I Refuse to Be Cut in Half Chapter 196: Sleeping for Nine Years?
In a secluded chamber deep within the Tombs of the Star,
A young man slept peacefully, his body undergoing drastic internal changes.
As he rested, the system within him was steadily repairing itself, though the process was excruciatingly slow.
No one knew how long it would take.
But those who understood knew one thing for certain.
When this young man finally awakened, the world of jujutsu would once again face an earth-shaking upheaval.
...
Spring passed and autumn ca, again and again. In the blink of an eye, nine years had gone by.
"Another year already?" Satoru muttered. "That guy should've had enough sleep by now, right?"
He stood in front of a mirror, buttoning up the black uniform jacket of Tokyo Jujutsu High School.
Nine years.
Enough ti to grow from a boy into a tall young man. Though his twin brother had also grown, Satoru's striking white lashes and refined features made him unusually handso.
Every ti he went out, he drew too much attention.
Which was a problem.
A sorcerer with Six Eyes didn't need that kind of attention.
So, from his pocket, he silently pulled out a pair of specialized sunglasses.
Once he put them on, the density of information around him dropped instantly, and the fatigue in his mind eased significantly.
"Perfect," Satoru smiled.
He carried a second pair of those sunglasses in his pocket.
After all, he wasn't the only one burdened with the Six Eyes.
"Before enrolling, I should go check on that guy in the Tombs of the Star."
Smiling to himself, he stepped out the door.
After all these years of pressure from that monster of a brother, he'd finally mastered the Limitless Technique.
I wonder if that guy will be surprised when he sees now.
...
Deep within the Tombs of the Star.

Satoshi had no idea how long he had been asleep. Maybe months. Maybe years.
For him, it passed in the blink of an eye.
As the system finished repairing, its chanical chi rang in his mind, followed by a comforting warmth that washed over his soul.
Bathed in that gentle light,
Satoshi's consciousness began to reawaken, and his mories surged back like a rising tide.
"So... it's finally done?"
His white lashes quivered as his mind pierced the darkness. His awareness stirred, and he slowly opened his pale blue eyes.
What greeted him was the sa unfamiliar tall ceiling as when he had fallen asleep.
Exactly the sa.
But when he looked down and saw how much slimr his limbs and body had beco, Satoshi froze.
"How many years... have I been asleep?"
He shook his head after a mont and smiled softly.
"No matter how long I slept..."
"The important thing is that I'm awake now."
He stretched his arms and legs, slowly warming up his body.
Although his body had been nourished by Reiryoku through his Zanpakutō,
There weren't any major health issues, but after so long without movent, he felt a little stiff.
He muttered,
"Looks like the system gained so new features. Let's see what's changed."
He focused his thoughts and opened the system interface.
[Host: Gojo Satoshi]

Satoshi blinked, slightly surprised.
His Flash Step had reached full mastery.
And now, Kidō proficiency was finally unlocked.
He had already grasped three standard spells—Bakudō #4, Hadō #31 and #33—as well as the basic healing arts of Kaidō.
"Guess all those years asleep weren't completely wasted."
...
Elsewhere in the Tombs of the Star,
Fifteen-year-old Satoru followed silently behind a girl. That girl—calm and mysterious—was the true form of Lord Tengen.
The silence was stifling.
So Satoru was the first to speak. "Lord Tengen, how's my brother been lately?"
His visit was mainly to take the entrance exam for Jujutsu High, but checking in on Satoshi had beco a ritual.
Though he asked the question every ti,
He wasn't expecting anything to change.
After all, his brother had been asleep for nine years.
Surely nothing had changed today.
Tengen paused, her eyes flashing faintly as a small curve appeared at the corner of her lips.
"If you don't go see him, how will you know?"
Satoru blinked. What?
That was... different.
He had asked this sa question over a hundred tis in the past nine years.
But this was the first ti she had ever responded like that.
Tengen, usually aloof and teasing, simply sighed and stopped before the chamber's passage. She waved her hand toward the corridor.
"I'm not interested in your brotherly affection."
She folded her arms with a quiet laugh.
She still had plenty of questions about her own Zanpakutō, Urozakuro, that she wanted to ask Satoshi.
But there was no rush. Besides, Satoshi still owed her a favor.
Hearing her words, Satoru's heart skipped.
Could it be?
"Satoshi... that guy's finally awake?"
His eyes lit up, and a rare, unguarded smile appeared on his face.
Without thinking, he ran.
His brother.
His brother, who had been asleep for nine years, was finally waking up.
He couldn't count how many tis he had stood in front of that door deep inside the Tombs.
He took a deep breath and removed his sunglasses, then pushed open the familiar door with both hands.
And there he was.
That familiar figure in the distance, slender and elegant.
Satoru's gaze locked on the boy's handso face.
White hair, pale lashes, and those sa light blue eyes that mirrored his own.
Nine years had passed, but he recognized him instantly.
