After about half an hour of traveling through the snow-covered landscape, Lin Feng and the others finally caught a glimpse of Silverpine City.

"We’re here. What do you think?" Chen i looked toward Feng, a bit excited as she waited to see his reaction to her ho.

Once again, Feng was in awe at the sight before him.

The city was massive, with towering walls that reached a hundred ters high that were carved with images of mythical beasts, and guards in purple armor patrolled constantly, their eyes sharp and alert.

Watchtowers stood at regular intervals, each one flying a banner marked with a beautiful purple lotus flower.

I guess that purple flower is the emblem of the Chen Clan...

Feng thought to himself as he turned his gaze toward the city itself.

It was massive, with houses stretching up the mountainside, built on different levels.

The roofs were covered in snow, and smoke rose from chimneys, carrying the scent of warm food.

Despite the cold, the streets were bustling—rchants called out from market stalls, children laughed as they played, and spirit beast-drawn carriages rolled by.

The city gate was packed with people trying to get in.

So rode carriages loaded with food from towns outside the city, while others rode red-tipped horses alone—likely a sign of their strength.

Feng even spotted a few people riding spirit beasts into the city.

They resembled the Black Blood Komodo Dragons he had fought before, but these had light green scales.

Suddenly, Feng heard a scream from the back, followed by Yan Hao’s panicked voice.

"Oh crap, we left behind the carriages!" Yan Hao looked absolutely devastated, as if he had lost a precious treasure.

"What?! How did I forget about the carriages too? Isn’t that the whole reason we ca down the mountain in the first place?" Yan Li complained, turning toward Chen Li.

Huang Bei, watching the two of them fuss, suddenly spoke up, surprising them both with his words.

"Are you both idiots? Obviously, the wheat we brought was just a cover-up. Old man Chen has the real treasure inside his bag of holding."

"That’s right. You don’t need to worry—you’re both getting paid for the work you did, and I’ll throw in a little extra bonus for saving my life," Chen Li said with an honest smile.

Hearing there was a bonus, Yan Hao and Yan Li quickly got over the sadness of leaving the carriages behind and began celebrating together.

"Whoo! We’re gonna party tonight!" Yan Hao looked excited as he started imagining all the things he would do with the money.

"That’s right! I can’t wait to et up with my baby, hehe." Yan Li had a sleazy look on his face, clearly planning sothing less than wholeso.

Chen i and Lin Feng pretended not to hear either of them.

anwhile, Lin Feng quickly noticed that the Frostvenom Python didn’t descend to leave them at the front gate.

Instead, it glided over the entrance, passing through without stopping.

Strangely, the guards patrolling the city gate didn’t react at all, as if they hadn’t even seen them.

"Those guys already know that Senior Frost is an ally of the Chen Clan, and this entrance is under our control, so they just let us through without any trouble," Chen i explained, noticing the confusion on Lin Feng’s face.

"I’m not sure if you already know, but Silverpine City is ruled by two major factions. First, there’s us—the Chen Clan. We’re known throughout the region for our mastery of both dicinal and poison arts, which is why most people wouldn’t dare provoke us... unless they want to suddenly die in their sleep, of course," Chen i added casually, as if it were no big deal.

On the other hand, it was Lin Feng who felt a chill—not from the cold, but from realizing just how powerful the Chen Clan seed to be.

I wonder how many Foundation Establishnt cultivators the Chen Clan has...

Or do they have people even stronger than that here?

The thought lingered in his mind, and he suddenly realized that he didn’t actually know what the next realm after Foundation Establishnt was.

He was about to ask Chen i when she spoke first.

"We’re here."

They stopped before a massive estate with tall walls and roofs painted a deep purple—a striking contrast to the pure white snow surrounding it.

Guards in purple armor patrolled the area constantly, their movents sharp and disciplined.

A dense bamboo forest enclosed the entire estate, adding a layer of natural protection.

The dark wooden gate stood imposing—not as large as the city’s main gate, but still impressive in its craftsmanship.

Feng also noticed that the stone paths were lined with countless purple flowers whose delicate aroma blended with the fresh scent of bamboo, filling the air with a calming aura.

The Frostvenom Python slowly descended to the ground before finally stopping. It turned its head toward Lin Feng and let out a low hiss.

[The Frostvenom Python is saying that you should be grateful.]

Hearing the chanical voice inside his head and noticing that Chen i and the others had already started to dismount, Lin Feng quickly bowed his head in respect.

"Thank you very much for carrying us here, Senior!" Feng said sincerely.

The Frostvenom Python, hearing Lin Feng’s words, gave a satisfied nod.

However, before Yan Hao and Yan Li could properly get off its back, it suddenly flicked its tail, sending both of them tumbling to the ground.

"Ouch!"

"What the heck was that for?!"

Yan Hao and Yan Li were about to complain further when the Frostvenom Python fixed them with a cold stare.

A chill ran down their spines, and they quickly smiled ingratiatingly at the massive beast.

Yet before they could say another word, the python let out a final hiss and soared into the sky, leaving them behind.

The guards, who had been watching the Frostvenom Python’s departure, imdiately turned their attention to Chen i as she stepped down. One of them stepped forward and spoke respectfully.

"Welco back, young miss! Your father gave us strict orders—if we saw you return, we were to inform you to see him imdiately!"
