Feng craned his neck, stretching slightly, while the bandits remained frozen in place, an invisible weight pressing down on them.

They didn’t understand why they felt such overwhelming pressure—after all, he was only at the 6th level of Qi Condensation sa as them.

But before they could dwell on it, one of the bandits stepped forward.

A powerful surge of spiritual energy radiated from his body as he activated his Heaven’s Pact.

A long sword materialized in his grasp—its blade curved in an unfamiliar way, unlike anything Feng had ever seen.

The black outlines of the weapon pulsed ominously, and just looking at it sent a stinging sensation through his eyes.

"I don’t know who you are, kid, or why you’re so eager to interfere," the bandit sneered. "But now that you’re here, you won’t be leaving alive."

This man was Ting Li, the only cultivator in the group at the 7th level of Qi Condensation. He smiled with malice, unfazed by Feng’s Alpha Wolf’s Domain—though its suppressive effects still weighed on him, they were noticeably weaker compared to the others.

Alright, this is my first real fight since being trained by the Blackwood Ruler. I can’t afford to disappoint him.

Feng clenched his fists before dashing forward, his presence expanding like a tidal wave.

The sheer force of his aura sent tremors through the air, and in an instant, the 6th-level Qi Condensation cultivators wavered.

Their expressions contorted in panic as their cultivation bases visibly destabilized.

Oh? Did the suppressive effects of my Alpha Wolf’s Domain increase?

Feng was montarily taken aback—he had used his domain against the Red-Faced Gorillas before, but the reaction here was far more intense.

Before he could ponder further, the system’s cold, chanical voice answered his thoughts.

[Responding to host: Humans and spirit beasts have varying levels of resistance to fear. So are more susceptible, while others possess stronger ntal fortitude. However, in general, humans are more vulnerable to fear than spirit beasts.]

"What the hell, System? Can’t you make it easier for to understand?" Feng complained, but there was no ti for an answer.

Ting Li dashed toward him, raising his Heaven’s Pact as dark black spiritual energy surged around his curved blade.

Feng t him head-on, his sharp claws coated in darksilver spiritual energy.

BOOM!

The two forces clashed violently, sending a shockwave through the air. Sparks flew as the scimitar ground against Feng’s claws, locking them in a stalemate. Feng gritted his teeth—despite the power behind his strike, he couldn’t push Ting Li back.

But his opponent was struggling even more. "How the hell are you holding back? "Ting Li voiced out, his expression darkening. He was at the 7th level of Qi Condensation, yet this 6th-level brat wasn’t just resisting him—he was matching him in raw strength! On top of that, Feng’s suppressive domain gnawed at his mind, making his movents sluggish.

"You useless pieces of trash! Are you just gonna sit there and watch?!" Ting Li roared, glaring at the other bandits.

The montary distraction cost him.

Feng suddenly overpowered him, sending him flying backward.

His body smashed into the ground, kicking up a cloud of dust.

The remaining bandits flinched.

Fear flickered in their eyes, but they forced themselves forward, dark black spiritual energy erupting from their Heaven’s Pacts.

One of them, Yu Zhen, was the first to attack. Unlike the others, his courage hadn’t completely shattered.

With a sharp glare, he summoned his Heaven’s Pact—a set of circular hoop-like blades that materialized around him.

Without hesitation, he thrust his hands forward, sending them whirling toward Feng like deadly saws.

Feng’s eyes blazed with murder.

He wasn’t about to let this turn into another Red-Faced Gorilla incident where he had to rely on Elena to get out of a tough spot.

Gritting his teeth, he took a deep breath and refocused, unwilling to show weakness.

He dashed forward, his spiritual energy pressure growing with each step, amplifying the suppressive effects of his Alpha Wolf’s Domain.

With deadly precision, he slashed at the hoop-like blades sent toward him by Yu Zhen sharp claws coming into contact with sharp circular blades

SLASH! SLASH! SLASH!

The hoops were deflected, giving Feng the opening he needed. Lowering his body, he jumped high into the air, gathering spiritual energy into his Heaven’s Pact. In an instant, his mouth opened wide—

ROAR!!!

A deafening soundwave tore through the area, the air vibrating with raw power. The bandits froze in place, paralyzed by the sheer force of the roar.

Even Ting Li, who had been scrambling to recover, felt a chill run down his spine.

His eyes widened in horror as it seed the man before him wasn’t human at all, but a towering black wolf with silver outlines, glaring at him like a predator preparing to strike.

If this terrified Ting Li, what did it do to the others? Yu Zhen, who was closest to the epicenter of the Ruler’s Howl, was barely holding on. The pressure overwheld him, his vision blurred, his consciousness slipping.

But before Yu Zhen could collapse, a shadow descended from the sky.

Feng.

His darksilver claws shimred with condensed spiritual energy, their edges gleaming with a predatory sharpness.

SLASH!

The air hissed as his claws ripped through Yu Zhen’s throat in a single, seamless motion.

The sickening sound of flesh parting echoed through the battlefield.

Blood sprayed outward, painting the ground in a deep crimson and splattering across Feng’s face and robes.

The once-arrogant bandit’s eyes widened in shock—his hands trembling as they weakly reached for his ruined throat.

A gurgling sound escaped his lips, but no words ca.

He staggered, his body spasming, before finally collapsing lifelessly onto the cold, blood-stained earth.

Feng landed softly beside the corpse, his breath steady, his posture unwavering—as if this were nothing more than routine.

He exhaled slowly, wiping a stray drop of blood from his cheek with the back of his hand. Then, in a voice that carried no emotion, he uttered:

"Two."

The battlefield remained eerily silent.

The other bandits hadn’t even processed what had just happened.

From the mont Feng had smashed Ting Li into the ground to Yu Zhen’s throat being torn apart, only re seconds had passed.

Yet, to the terrified onlookers, it felt like an eternity.

Their leader, their strongest fighter, Ting Li, was still struggling to push himself up from the ground. anwhile, Yu Zhen—one of their bravest—had just been butchered in an instant.

Their bodies tensed.

Their weapons trembled in their hands.

For the first ti, the realization dawned upon them—

They weren’t fighting a human.

They were standing before a beast.

One that had only just begun its slaughter.
