Of course one can even rise to the higher realms by walking through the Heavenly stairs that is within the Heavenly Tree, the Heavenly Tree is spread across the entire four heavens, it was there since the beginning of ti, its branches and leaves hold the smaller and lesser dinsions, it's what everyone believes
All in all, it's not sothing that anybody would dare to ss with, be it the immortals of the highest heavens or the gods that live at the top, but it's not easy to climb the Heavenly Path if you are not talented to match that heaven you won't be able to climb it, the only thing you would achieve is perishing
In the four havens everything cos down to talent and he Xiao was born with Mortal Core Realm talent, it was above average and a good one to leave a powerful and steady life in the lower heavens but to the upper realms he was trash, sure having Mortal Core Talent doesn't just an that you could only cultivate to Mortal Core Talent, you could definitively exceed it, otherwise how would have he in his first life climb till the third heaven?

And among them, the one treasure that could completely change him is the pill of reform, be it any other treasures it would only increase his potential to a certain position but the pill of reform completely removes the shackles of his powers, in other words, he won't have an ending!
Of course, the pill won't suddenly make you a genius nor would it increase your talents, it would just remove the 'shackles' of talent that binds him, in other words, if before he would only reach the Mortal Core Realm and would have to work hard to reach the rest realm, then after eating that pill, he would only need the average ti and his powers won't be lessened when he reaches a level above his talent!
He would have the sa level of average strength as the one who had the talent to reach the sa realm, unlike before where his strength won't be compared to the one with talent's above him! such a pill goes completely against the heavens since it completely paves the path for him without an end, theoretically, he could go to be strong as the heavens themselves!
But then again it would only give his body the average strength of the higher realm talent he reaches, it won't suddenly give you higher level qi nor would the difficulty of 100 tis effort change but it doesn't matter, just getting rid of his shackles is the first thing that Xiao needs as for the rest, he could always find the treasures he read about and take it for himself first, of course, he would do it in a moderate pace and would make only sure to take those that won't affect the future heavily and even just those would change him completely!
