After being thoroughly humiliated by Zhang ilan, Li iling hadn’t dared to go out recently. Today, however, she made a rare appearance. She was wearing a purple bracelet on her wrist and a silver necklace, absolutely beaming with joy. As she walked, she deliberately flaunted her jade bracelet and the silver necklace, which shimred brilliantly.

"Oh my, iling, that bracelet is so beautiful!"

"And this necklace, is it made of silver? Good heavens!"

"iling, that must have cost at least several thousand, right?"

In an instant, everyone’s attention was drawn to Li iling. Naturally, she was extrely proud, her vanity greatly satisfied.

"Oh, this little thing? It was just over forty thousand. My daughter-in-law insisted on buying it for , you know," Li iling sighed, feigning helplessness.

The surrounding neighbors were stunned. Forty thousand was almost what they earned in an entire year of work! Li iling’s bracelet and necklace were actually so valuable. It was incredible.

Zhang ilan also shot her a jealous look.

"Ah, this is just pocket change," Li iling boasted. "This bracelet was a gift from my daughter-in-law, and the necklace was from my younger son-in-law. They’re all wealthy. Their families run factories, so they don’t care about a small amount like this."

"I heard about a crippled young man today who mortgaged his house to buy his wife a fancy car just to show off. He couldn’t pay it back and ended up in a vegetative state. What a tragedy!"

Li iling glanced at Zhang ilan, her jab both deliberate and casual.

What’s with this "crippled young man" act? Just say Qin Long’s na if you have the guts.

Zhang ilan’s face darkened imdiately upon hearing this.

"Li iling, if you want to show off, then show off. Leave our family out of it."

"Oh dear, ilan, I’m so sorry! I completely forgot your Qin Long is a cripple too!" Li iling said with mock innocence. "Please don’t misunderstand. But speaking of which, could it be that Qin Long secretly mortgaged your Tang Family Ancestral House to buy that car? By the way, ilan, how co you’ve never bought any jewelry or necklaces? You spent millions on a Rolls-Royce but didn’t buy any jewelry?"

It seed Li iling was just waiting for Zhang ilan to get angry and retort, so she began to mock her relentlessly. The people around her also nodded in agreent. If Zhang ilan was really so rich, why didn’t she have any decent jewelry? Besides, Zhang ilan and her family always dressed very plainly, which made the onlookers very suspicious.

"You think I can’t afford jewelry?" Zhang ilan trembled with fury as she bellowed, "If I wanted any, Qin Long would buy out an entire jewelry store for in a heartbeat!"

"That’s hilarious!" Li iling was the first to burst out laughing. The crowd erupted in laughter as well. This Zhang ilan was too much of a show-off! Buy out a jewelry store? She was getting way ahead of herself.

"Why don’t you go shopping then? Could you even co back with a few designer bags today?" Li iling deliberately shook the bracelet on her wrist, sneering continuously. "If you can, I, Li iling, will admit you’re better than !"

VROOM!

The sound of an engine approached. It was the red Rolls-Royce, and shockingly, it was followed by a convoy of seven or eight large trucks and more than a dozen SUVs.

CLICK!

Tang Xuewu got out of the car, helping Qin Long alight.

"Xuewu, what have you two been up to?" Zhang ilan seized the opportunity to break the awkward silence, stopping her mahjong ga.

"Qin Long said we were adding a few things to the house," Tang Xuewu said, gesturing behind her.

Qin Long waved his hand and shouted, "Alright, just bring everything into the courtyard!"

"Yes, Young Master Qin," Zi’er replied as she got out of the driver’s seat and waved at the SUVs.

Soon after, dozens of sales associates erged from the vehicles and began to unload cargo, item by item, from the large trucks at the back. There were all sorts of designer clothes, handbags, deep-blue necklaces, and blue-and-white porcelain tea sets.

Li iling and the other onlookers, including Zhang ilan, were completely baffled.

Adding things? What on earth did Qin Long buy this ti? Don’t tell all those trucks are filled with his purchases?

"I bet he’s out of money," Li iling sneered, looking over disdainfully. "Probably sold a few dozen pounds of potatoes just to scrape by."

"iling, don’t talk such nonsense," a woman next to her whispered, nudging her. "Look at the people moving everything. Do they look like they’ve been selling potatoes?"

"How is that possible?" Li iling muttered, finally moving closer for a better look.

BANG!

The doors of a large truck were thrown open. Young n and won in neat uniforms erged from the SUVs and other cars, so of them holding exquisite boxes.

"This is—!" Seeing this, Li iling imdiately shut her mouth, sensing trouble.

So of these young n and won were wearing gold necklaces. They were obviously not ordinary people, and the exquisite boxes they carried were the kind often seen in television comrcials. Even soone as dense as Li iling knew these trucks weren’t full of potatoes.

What could Qin Long, a cripple, possibly buy?

The crowd buzzed with curiosity as more than eighty people got out of the vehicles. They went to their assigned trucks and began to unload. The items inside were definitely not cheap.

Zhang ilan’s pupils constricted, and her heart skipped a beat. Although she couldn’t recognize so of the items, she could tell at a glance that they were extrely expensive, big-na brands.

What in the world did that man buy?

"Hey, isn’t that Xiaoli?" Suddenly, Li iling hurried over to a young saleswoman.

The girl was taken aback for a mont, then looked at Li iling closely. "I’m Xiaoli. Auntie, you are...?" she asked, looking a little awkward as she scratched her head.

"I’m Li iling. My daughter-in-law and son-in-law bought a bracelet and necklace from your store just yesterday," Li iling announced proudly, deliberately flaunting her own jewelry.

"Oh! Now I rember! Aunt iling, right? Yes, I rember now," Xiaoli exclaid, her face breaking into a wide smile.

Hearing this, Li iling beca even more smug, and the surrounding people cast envious glances her way.

"Xiaoli, what are you all doing here so late at night?" Li iling asked curiously, pointing to the large truck beside the girl.

"Oh, we’re here to help Young Master Qin with a delivery," Xiaoli replied with a faint smile as she took an item from the truck. She then walked over to Qin Long and greeted him with extre reverence.

At her words, Li iling’s expression changed dramatically. Xiaoli’s attitude was like that of a servant to a master. To her, Xiaoli was rely being polite. To Qin Long, she showed genuine respect. They weren’t even in the sa league.

Li iling was shocked, standing frozen on the spot.

Did Qin Long buy that much jewelry from her store? Why else would she be so deferential? It doesn’t make any sense!

"Young Master Qin, we’ll just place the items in the courtyard."

One by one, the young n and won carried things from the trucks. They all passed by Qin Long, bowing their heads respectfully in greeting. Looking at the items in their hands, there seed to be dozens of different kinds of luxury goods: designer bags, jewelry, jade, blue-and-white porcelain teacups, and all sorts of expensive clothing.

"Alright, thank you for your hard work," Qin Long said with a faint smile.

As the forr mighty and invincible commander of the Heavenly Dragon Army, he had to be generous when buying things for Tang Xuewu’s family.

"You’re welco!" everyone replied with the utmost respect as they placed the items inside the Tang family courtyard.

In an instant, the entire courtyard was nearly piled high with goods.
