The hall was vast and extrely spacious, with the walls all around constructed from massive green stones, radiating an aura of ancient and weathered years.
The entire hall was unusually quiet, devoid of a shred of life vitality.
Etched into the dod ceiling of the hall were nurous luminous pearls, shedding gentle rays, bathing the entire hall in light akin to daylight.
In the middle of the grand hall, lay a gigantic table. On the table were ten hand-sized marble boxes, engraved with a myriad of inscriptions. These inscriptions were mysterious and intricate, from which Chu Mo sensed a very strong spatial fluctuation.
He rembered what the Realm Spirit had said about the token the rooster had given him.
"Could these be the ten sets of immortal-grade Foundation Establishnt materials? Are these boxes storage spaces?" Chu Mo frowned, confusion flickering in his eyes as he walked towards the table.
He picked up a marble box, harmonizing his spiritual energy with the inscriptions on it. There was no resistance, and he was instantly able to sense the contents within the box.
As suspected, the marble box contained Foundation Establishnt materials. Each material emanated a powerful energy fluctuation. So of them were nearly sentient, all bound by special ropes. If not so, these materials could have escaped the mont the box was opened.
Chu Mo looked through each box one by one, finding identical materials in each box, all of which could support "immortal-grade" Foundation Establishnt.
He couldn't help but internally exclaim that this was an incredibly big deal!
Even the great families of the Heavenly Realm would likely struggle to produce ten sets of immortal-grade Foundation Establishnt materials all at once.
It's safe to assu that even the top-tier affluent families of the Immortal Realm would find it imnsely difficult to procure even a single set of these materials.
As for the Spirit Realm, it's best not to even think about it. There's simply no way anyone there could acquire these kinds of materials!
The Realm Spirit treated him... so well! It was practically an extravagance!
Although the Realm Spirit once ntioned that the whole Phantom Divine Realm belonged to him, Chu Mo never truly grasped this concept.
Because as far as he was concerned, it was impossible!
How could such a vast and boundless world, teeming with various creatures and top-grade materials, and even materials for the Five Elents Foundation Establishnt be owned by a single person?
Even though Chu Mo suspected the Realm Spirit was sowhat related to his parents, that was rely a suspicion, with absolutely no evidence to prove it.
Or perhaps, the Realm Spirit beca favorably disposed towards him for so reason. Though this probability is virtually miniscule, it nonetheless remains a possibility.
The Realm Spirit did not appear here. Given the ssages it left for him, Chu Mo got the feeling the Realm Spirit was likely tied up with sothing else.
After all, even the Realm Spirit, who wielded total control over the entire Phantom Divine Realm, wouldn't remain unaffected when confronted by the combined forces of nurous prominent heavenly families.
This kindness, he would hold it dear in his heart for the ti being. One day, he would express his gratitude!
With that in mind, Chu Mo stowed the ten sets of immortal-grade Foundation Establishnt materials.
Then, he turned his gaze towards the highest point of the grand hall, where another table was located. Behind this table stood a chair akin to a grandiose throne.
Chu Mo slowly advanced and finally reached the table. On this table, too, was a marble box.
However, this marble box was black — as black as ink!
A large number of inscriptions were engraved on it. The energy fluctuations radiating from the inscriptions far surpassed those of the white marble boxes.
"Could it be that this contains the materials for the Five Elents Foundation Establishnt?" Chu Mo was a tad excited as he reached for the black box.
Again, without any resistance, Chu Mo's spirit rged with the inscriptions on the box, sensing the objects within it.
The spatial capacity of this box was decidedly more vast than those of the white marble boxes, filled with loads of materials. Almost all these materials were bound with ropes that were specially engraved with inscriptions, even having charm seals!
Despite this, so materials responded with force upon feeling Chu Mo's spiritual power, seemingly intending to capture this strand of Chu Mo's spirit!
Boom!
Chu Mo felt as if he had been heavily struck, his face instantly turning pale.
Almost spitting out a mouthful of fresh blood.
He was greatly startled!
He didn't even know which dicinal herb had attacked him. Either way, he felt intense resentnt and... deep contempt from that herb!
Yes, it was contempt!
It seed to utterly disdain such a feeble spirit force!
Soon, the runic cords binding the dozen or so old herbs placed in the most conspicuous location began to twinkle with dazzling lights.
As if suppressing them!
Chu Mo took a deep breath. He hadn't expected these dicinal herbs to be so terrifying. Being sealed to such an extent, they could still spare so strength to attack him. Had they not been sealed, he would probably have been dood in that instant.
The corner of Chu Mo's mouth twitched. He finally understood why hardly anyone over the ages has been able to establish the Dao foundation of the Five Elents.
Cultivation is inherently defying the heavens, and establishing this Dao foundation of the Five Elents, is even more so defying the heavens within the defiance of the heavens!
If there's no Realm Spirit to help, relying on oneself, there's probably no hope of establishing this Five Elents Dao foundation.
It wasn't until now that Chu Mo truly understood how otherworldly the Dao foundation of the Five Elents is. Even these materials are so frightful.
"I know, you aren't willing to be used as foundation materials by a young and weak kid like ," Chu Mo took a mont to regulate his breath, transmitting his thoughts with his spirit force inside the ink-colored jade box, "But what I want to say is, in this world, no one is born suprely powerful! Everyone has tis when they are as weak as . Your spirituality will not disappear as you turn into intangible foundation elixirs. I will carry your spirituality and truly beco powerful!"
Boom! Boom! Boom!
With Chu Mo's thought transmission, countless dicinal herbs inside the jade box began to stir.
Even producing thunderous roars.
ssy thoughts were emitted, mingling with anger, fear, contempt, and disdain.
Not a single kind thought was there.
Obviously, these dicinal herbs, any given one, all possess very strong spirituality, and do not accept Chu Mo's thought transmission.
Chu Mo sneered: "Trying to be reasonable with you all doesn't work, eh? Wait for it! Wait till I ascend to the Spirit Realm and refine all of you! Whether you submit or not, your destiny is already set!"
As he said this, Chu Mo pulled his thoughts from the ink-black jade box and stored it in the Vast Heaven Divine Lens, surpressing his frustration.
Who'd thought that he would be looked down on by a bunch of dicinal herbs that had little cognition.
These top-grade dicinal herbs are all peculiar creatures. They seem to have consciousness and are even able to express various emotions. But in reality, they differ from genuine creatures. In essence, these dicinal herbs have not reached that realm!
It seems like they are just a little bit away from becoming normal creatures, with independent thought processes. But in actuality, this little bit is like a chasm.
For these dicinal herbs, crossing this chasm is impossible.
Those dicinal herbs that can beco creatures, possessing independent thought processes and consciousness, supre beings ...even they struggle to capture such herbs.
Those are the truly refined ones.
