Chu Mo felt like he was trapped in a long, cold dream. In the dream, he seed to live in a boundless world. In that world, even the simplest creature possessed powers that could shake the heavens and earth, reaching realms of unimaginable strength.

In the dream, there seed to be the figure of Qi Xiaoyu, but her appearance and personality were vastly different from the real Qi Xiaoyu. Yet in the dream, Chu Mo's intuition told him that the radiant and charming woman before him was indeed Qi Xiaoyu.

He lived for thousands of years in the dream, starting as an ignorant youth, growing step by step, cultivating the most supre Immortal Techniques and using the finest resources. Finally, he succeeded in cultivation and beca an unparalleled powerhouse, capable of defying the heavens.

But one day, the world within the dream suddenly collapsed. It fragnted completely, and everyone frantically fled for their lives. Yet he charged in the opposite direction, heading straight toward the most perilous spot—because the woman he loved deeply was there!

Regrettably, he still didn't see her in the end. Like a madman, he searched tirelessly, desperate to find her trace amidst the crumbling world. He searched everywhere but couldn't find her. In the end, he sacrificed his entire cultivation and risked his life to deduce her whereabouts. In the process, he seed to uncover many other revelations, but the scenes within the dream were so hazy that he could barely recall anything.

Finally, he relinquished all his cultivation and abandoned everything. He stepped straight into reincarnation…

"Xiaoyu…"

Chu Mo murmured softly and slowly opened his eyes. In his eyes, divine brilliance flickered.

"Am I… at the bottom of the Heavenly Realm sea?" Chu Mo furrowed his brows. At his level of cultivation, he regained clarity the mont he woke up and instantly understood all the preceding causes and effects.

He surveyed his surroundings: darkness and coldness—it was indeed the deep seabed of the Heavenly Realm.

The Celestial Mirror and Chaos Furnace were protecting him from outside forces. Chu Mo imdiately understood that without these dharma instrunts safeguarding him, he likely wouldn't have woken up at all.

The Star Mnemonic battle armor, ford from the Thousand-Script Divine Texts, remained on his body, while Heaven Slaying rested horizontally against his chest.

He was still alive.

But what was that dream about?

Chu Mo knitted his brows tightly, straining to recall the indistinct dream. However, even at his level, he still couldn't fully recover the scenes from the dream.

He could only vaguely rember that within the dream, he and Qi Xiaoyu were likely lovers.

"Could that dream… be from my past life? Could it be that we were already lovers in a previous lifeti?" Chu Mo mused inwardly, a faint smile gracing his lips.

No matter what happened in the past life, to love each other in this life was already enough.

Afterward, Chu Mo activated his inner technique, planning to recover his injuries.

Before doing so, he glanced at sothing nearby—like a mountain range stretched across the seabed of the Heavenly Realm—it was a severed finger.

"Zhong Caiyun…" Chu Mo silently uttered the na in his heart without speaking further. Revenge was necessary, but it wasn't sothing one spoke aloud.

As Chu Mo activated the Heaven's Will and My Will technique, he suddenly discovered with astonishnt that the injuries in his body were already 70-80% healed!

He quickly pieced together the causes and effects. It turned out to be the battle armor ford from the Thousand-Script Divine Texts!

The Star Mnemonic within the Thousand-Script Divine armor was suprely intricate and miraculous. This armor had blocked Zhong Caiyun's deadly strike on his behalf. Although he was sent crashing to the seabed of the Heavenly Realm, he hadn't suffered fatal injuries. Most of the killing intent that broke through the defenses of the Celestial Mirror and Chaos Furnace was already quelled by the divine battle armor.

Chu Mo felt a mix of awe and gratitude. Subsequently, he began inspecting each of his dao platforms and found they were all intact. This, to him, was undoubtedly a miracle. Facing the full-strength strike of a powerhouse, not only had he survived, but he hadn't suffered irreversible damage.

"Hmm… sothing's not right!" Chu Mo suddenly furrowed his brows. He realized that he wasn't entirely unhard from severe dao injuries—so force had healed them!

"What's going on?" Chu Mo began deducing, feeling increasingly shocked. As his deduction progressed, Chu Mo's expression gradually beca extrely solemn. Because he discovered that he had comprehended the ancestral realm's dao!

"How is this possible?" For the first ti, Chu Mo felt panic.

By all accounts, this should be a great boon—a blessing of astronomical proportions! Yet precisely because it was too beneficial, it felt unreal!

It was akin to a destitute man from a remote village, struggling to eat three als a day, suddenly being gifted with a golden mountain descending from the heavens.

This was beyond absurd! It wasn't logical!

"What kind of dao is this? Where did it co from?" Eventually, Chu Mo discovered a brand-new Great Dao had inexplicably appeared within his divine sense. Without deliberate deduction, he couldn't even perceive its presence—it was simply too profound and advanced!

This was the dao of the ancestral realm!

Chu Mo devoted all his deducing ability to this, furiously calculating.

At last, his eyes flickered with an uncertain radiance.

Patriarch Heiyu!

For reasons unknown, Chu Mo had inherited the entirety of Patriarch Heiyu's dao!

There was no mory of Patriarch Heiyu and no other miscellaneous remnants—only the purest truths of the Great Dao, fully integrated into his divine sense and now a part of him.

In other words, Chu Mo was only a few steps away from being able to advance unimpeded into the ancestral realm, becoming the youngest giant of his era!

This was an astronomical boon, but it wasn't what Chu Mo wanted!

"My dao… should be my own dao. What is this? What's going on?"

For a rare mont, Chu Mo felt irritated. The situation was simply too bizarre.

The day Zhong Caiyun struck him into the Heavenly Realm sea, wasn't Patriarch Heiyu supposed to be battling Fox Heaven Great Saint and Bull Demon Great Saint? How could his entire dao possibly be transferred into my body?

Anyone else would undoubtedly be overjoyed to receive such a massive blessing for free, but Chu Mo, on the other hand, was filled with a fear that bordered on madness.

Because it felt like his destiny was now being controlled by an invisible hand!

"No way!" Chu Mo exclaid, imdiately sitting cross-legged on the seabed of the Heavenly Realm and channeling his energy to cultivate. He intended to expel Patriarch Heiyu's dao!

What doesn't belong to , I refuse to accept!

At that mont, a voice echoed from within the Celestial Mirror: "You don't need to do this."

It was the Mirror Spirit.

"Mirror Spirit, what is happening? What's going on? How could I suddenly inherit Patriarch Heiyu's entire dao?" Chu Mo asked, his face dark with frustration.

"I don't know who orchestrated this, but it's not necessarily a bad thing. Or rather, even if it were bad, you wouldn't be able to resist it," the Mirror Spirit replied. "Think for yourself—the capability to seamlessly rge a complete ancestral realm dao into your body—what kind of being would they have to be?"

"Supre?" Chu Mo paused, then asked softly.

"Not Supre, but certainly far stronger than most within the ancestral realm," the Mirror Spirit said. "I've already examined it—this dao is suprely pure, without any flaws or contamination. Since it's already rged, it's now yours. There's no need to deliberately try to cast it out."

Chu Mo argued, "But it's not my dao in the end. I don't want it. Can you help ?"

The Mirror Spirit hesitated for a mont before replying, "We can attempt it, but it will likely be difficult."

Just then, Heaven Slaying emitted a sudden hum.

The Mirror Spirit seed slightly surprised. "You also believe this isn't a good thing? You wish to help? Alright… Without your assistance, it wouldn't be possible, indeed."

Soon, a white-robed man appeared before Chu Mo—it was one of the Ten Blood Moons, Beheading Path. After manifesting, Beheading Path bowed deeply to Chu Mo, then raised his hand and summoned Heaven Slaying into his grasp. With a gentle expression, he said, "Erasing a dao, especially one this powerful, cos at a trendous loss and extre pain for the master. Are you certain you wish to proceed?"

Chu Mo nodded resolutely. "Proceed!"

"Very well! Master, please remain still." The white-robed man, Beheading Path, said nothing further but began chanting an ancient lody, mysterious and enigmatic.

Yet Chu Mo felt no discernible strength emanating.

Suddenly, the remaining nine Blood Moons on the Celestial Mirror sent out nine beams of light, converging on Heaven Slaying held in Beheading Path's hands.

It was an inconceivable force!

BOOM!

When the energy reached a critical mass, Beheading Path struck.

He swung Heaven Slaying—a direct slash aid squarely at Chu Mo's head!

Just the essence of this stroke alone was beyond the tolerance of an ordinary cultivator!

For this blow seed capable of splitting Chu Mo into two!

Yet Chu Mo sat unmoving.

He trusted the Celestial Mirror and Heaven Slaying absolutely!

This faith surpassed all else.

HUM!

Just as the slash reached the crown of Chu Mo's head, the dao belonging to Patriarch Heiyu abruptly awakened within his divine sense and resisted with defiance.

This was a dao—a Great Dao—a path that had ascended to the pinnacle of the cosmos!

Now being forced to sever itself, naturally, it resisted with all its might!

The resulting impact created a terrifying storm in Chu Mo's spiritual consciousness sea. In that instant, Chu Mo felt as though his very soul would be pulverized. The agony was indescribable.

It was worse than death—ten thousand tis over.

The tornt was so intense that Chu Mo, who had never experienced such suffering, wished he could simply lose consciousness. But instead, the storm in his spiritual sea kept him acutely awake, making fainting a distant luxury.

Utterly impossible!

Even though the ordeal lasted only a mont, for Chu Mo, it felt like an eternity.

His hair turned white instantly, reverted to black with his unparalleled dao cultivation, and then whitened once more.

This ti, it didn't revert.

Severing such a dao couldn't happen without consequence. Chu Mo's hair was as white as snow—a true injury wrought by the dao. Only when he entered the ancestral realm might he revert once more.

SPURT!

Chu Mo spat out a mouthful of fresh blood, his face contorted in endless pain.

Patriarch Heiyu's dao was severed.

It dissipated entirely in the Heavenly Realm's depths. This colossal fortune benefited every living being within the sea.

Much ti passed, and finally, a cheerful smile appeared on Chu Mo's face.

He bowed deeply to Beheading Path and sincerely expressed, "Thank you!"
