Yao Ying nodded and said.
"It’s too early for you to think about that."
She pointed upwards. "Those who are the strongest weren’t able to figure it out yet. Only assumptions have been made till now.
But in the end, assumptions are assumptions. No one knows what the real truth is. Those who truly tried to find it ended up like Senior Yin."
Jiang Hao got surprised, but he didn’t show it externally. So this was the reason Senior Yin got hurt? But who has the truth? Is it really obtainable from sowhere if you are strong enough? He really had to ask Senior Yin about it.
There was one problem though, he doubted she would tell him. She always avoided ntioning that, it’s like knowing it would affect many things.
Maybe it is the truth, as she had ntioned sothing like that.
"Then I will just take this journey as the first step towards it, Senior," he spoke after thinking.
"Hmm... go and book an inn," Yao Ying spoke while looking around.
Jiang Hao nodded, although he didn’t know why.
There was an inn near them, so he just went there.
"I need a room. Make sure it is your best room." Although he didn’t care for the quality of the room, he wasn’t booking it for himself.
"Of course dear guests. If it is for one day, it will cost 3 silver coins, and if you book it for a month, then it will be 80 silvers only."
Jiang Hao still had so coins left, so he gave 3 silver coins.
"Very well. Co with , dear guests."
Jiang Hao nodded and went with him. Yao Ying just followed silently.
They ca to the top floor where only three rooms existed. The innkeeper opened one of the rooms and said,
"This will be your room. Please call if you need anything else."
Jiang Hao nodded and went inside. It really wasn’t a bad room, it was clean and open.
After Yao Ying entered, she closed the door and took out a pouch. The mont the pouch ca out, a refreshing fragrance filled the whole room instantly.
She opened the pouch, and two tea leaves which looked freshly picked ca out from it.
Jiang Hao was stunned. He had drunk tea before, but he knew that these tea leaves weren’t ordinary. It was definitely not sothing he could even find in this world.
Releasing so much fragrance even before it was prepared was enough to tell that it was otherworldly.
Yao Ying brought her palm forward, and a blob of water was created above it. After that, she made the tea leaves enter the blob of water, and instantly the water began boiling. Its colour changed from colourless to light erald.
The fragrance in the room increased further. As the tea was getting prepared, Jiang Hao was amazed by this new thod of preparing tea.
Suddenly, a tea cup appeared in front of him. He took it instinctively. Half of the tea fell into his cup along with one tea leaf, while the other half went into Senior Yao’s cup.
Jiang Hao didn’t know if it would be effective or not, as drinking wine hadn’t helped him at all. He wondered if he would ever be able to control his physique on his own accord. At least till now, he wasn’t able to do so.
He didn’t ntion this to Senior Yao and took a sip. Instantly, he felt a sweet, mild flavour on his tongue. His whole body felt rejuvenated to the extre. All his muscles relaxed.
Every thought from his mind vanished. Only a surreal feeling was left. Jiang Hao stayed rooted on his exact spot for almost 30 breaths.
Only after that did he co to his senses. His mind felt too light right now. He was shocked—a single sip had made him totally powerless.
It was an amazing feeling though, far better than his imagination. He took another, but this ti he was prepared, so he didn’t get lost in that surreal feeling.
He understood one thing—right now his comprehension strength was at its peak. He looked at the single tea leaf in his cup and sighed. Its value was definitely unimaginable for him.
He drank the whole tea and looked around. Senior Yao had moved away. He found her sitting in front of the wind and looking outside.
"Eat that leaf and lay down on the bed while closing your eyes," Yao Ying spoke while still looking outside.
Jiang Hao looked at the tea leaf inside his cup and took it out with his spirit sense. It still looked fresh. Making tea out of it hadn’t changed anything.
He imdiately ate it and lay down on the bed. The mont he closed his eyes, he lost consciousness.
When that happened, Yin Ni ca out of the ring.
"I guess he really needed that."
Yao Ying stood up and bowed. "Greetings, Senior."
"Hmm... what were you thinking? You’ve been lost in thought for so days now."
Yao Ying sighed when she heard that question.
"Just thinking if it is over yet or not."
"Are you contemplating about going back?" Yin sat down near Yao Ying and asked.
"I still haven’t totally decided that. Maybe Aunt would co here herself. I will wait for a few more decades before going back, if she doesn’t co that is."
Yin Ni nodded.
"If she really had returned, then it would have been over, and she would have co here by now. But you don’t have to worry too much, she knows what she is doing."
Yao Ying nodded, and they watched the bustling crowd for a while.
"Ignorance is bliss sotis," Yin Ni said ruefully and disappeared.
...
Jiang Hao’s eyes opened instantly. He imdiately sat down and looked around.
He spotted Senior Yao still sitting near the window, only her eyes were closed.
His eyes got struck on her beautiful face which looked srising under the moonlight.
His eyes widened a little. It was nightti—when he had eaten that tea leaf, it was still morning.
He sighed. He didn’t feel anything after eating the tea leaf, but there was a strange kind of peace inside his heart. He felt everything with utmost clarity.
While Jiang Hao was thinking that, his eyes were still fixed on Yao Ying. He just didn’t want to take them off.
Yao Ying suddenly opened her eyes and looked towards him. Their eyes t.
Every other thought left Jiang Hao’s mind, with only a strange feeling that was making his heart beat faster than usual. He imdiately removed his eyes instinctively.
"Let’s leave," Yao Ying spoke calmly.
Jiang Hao nodded, and they ca out of the inn and moved towards the gate.
