Jiang Hao turned and looked towards the cutlivators. Previously he had let them go from the 500-ter mark, as it would have been hard for them to accept, but now he would let them move at least 900 ters and give them enough hope so they understand that sotis, it is better to give up on your greed.

The competition was bound to happen for two hours, so he had to wait anyway.

Also, most of the cultivators who had left earlier were still waiting outside to see the results, so they might want to join back after seeing that so of those who had not left had made it to almost the end line.

Previously, when he stood on the 500-ter mark, the cultivators from the Mountain Sword Sect had left too. It was a good thing they did, because he wasn’t going to give them exceptions.

Although he didn’t quite pinpoint the reason....was it because they had tried to target him when they were fighting for the Serene Night Herb, or was it that they were afraid to associate themselves with him, because they would definitely feel the heat from other sects once again if that happened?

Either way, they did a good job, as he really wasn’t interested in killing them. It was still the sect he was part of so ti ago, and they might be the only sect who hadn’t gone against them. Maybe it was sothing related to Senior Huan, but it was the truth nonetheless.

So unless they really gave him enough reason to make a move against them, he would ignore them.

After twenty minutes, Ming Yue and Yi Lin made it to the end line. The pressure and pain was removed in so areas between here and the mountain.

Exactly forty minutes later, most of the remaining cultivators ca up to the 900-ter mark, they were gritting their teeth in pain.

Most of the cultivators watched intently. There was still enough ti left if they used their full strength to cross the end line. So even started walking again, but most looked toward the fate of the eleven cultivators who were near the 900-ter mark.

One of the cultivators, who was in front of the others, stopped and looked toward Jiang Hao, who wasn’t even paying attention to them and was sitting with closed eyes.

This was also the reason why there was still a little hope inside everyone’s hearts, but still, uncertainty was present.

But just as everyone thought that there might really be a chance to cross the end line, Jiang Hao stood up and stretched.

This was enough to send chills through the thirteen cultivators who were at 900 ters.

Jiang Hao looked at them and spoke,

"You do know the reason why I haven’t attacked you guys for not leaving earlier, right? It was because I was bound by the rules. But now..."

He took out his sword and decided to test his sword qi.

Dodging his attack was almost impossible under the pressure they were feeling, so right now, they were equal to wooden logs to practice your abilities.

The cultivators imdiately began to sit on their knees and beg for rcy. It was like they had talked about this beforehand, to do so in case Jiang Hao decided to not let them pass.

"Senior Jiang Hao, have rcy on us, we were fools to not see your magnanimity!"

"Senior, please forgive us..."

How could this affect Jiang Hao? He might have given them rcy, as they weren’t really targeting him and were only trying to pass the trials.

But since he had already given a warning and it’s not like they didn’t know about it, the empty trial pathway was proof that everyone understood him clearly, so in the end, the fault lay with them.

He imdiately imbued his qi into the sword and slashed towards the nearest cultivator.

A brilliant sword qi, which was too fast to be seen clearly by Soul Sea realm cultivators, left his sword in the form of a crescent moon.

Before the cultivator could even scream, he was cut in half from head to bottom. The sword qi kept moving further and touched the ground far behind, leaving a small deep ravin in the ground.

Other cultivators stopped begging. They knew there was no point in doing that because there was no doubt that Jiang Hao would kill them.

A cultivator who could kill thousands of cultivators wasn’t soone who would move from their fake begging.

In the end, they began cursing him out of desperation and anger.

"You bastard, your end will be even more miserable..."

"You are a cold-hearted devil! I hope both sects will kill all your relatives and family so that no other devils can be born from those abominations..."

What an amusing show. None of them were saints anyway. They must have killed many cultivators while coming to the main city. Given their strength to make it to the end of the trial easily, it was a given fact.

Jiang Hao just used his sword in quick succession. He wasn’t affected by any of that—it was just human nature.

If he had left them alive, they would have been praising him endlessly.

"Good work, junior brother. You really took my advice seriously. Keep working on that, and one day, you will be feared in the whole world. And since I am your senior sister... I will benefit from this too..."

Jiang Hao shook his head at her complint and looked towards the cultivators who had just co to the pathway. They all stopped and turned back quietly.

Jiang Hao ca back to his original location and sat down again.

After so ti, the trials ca to an end, and all the cultivators vanished. Only Jiang Hao, Ming Yue, and Yi Lin were left.

They all looked above as they felt fluctuations, and they were right to do so, because the Main Consciousness was already present there.

"Congratulations to you guys. Very well, here are your rewards. It is based on your performance in this trial."

Three storage bags ca out of nowhere in front of them. They all caught them and checked inside.

Jiang Hao got stunned at the sheer amount of it... spirit stones, spirit herbs, talismans, array designs, talisman runes, weapons... everything was present in abundance.

It was far more than the treasures he got from the Inheritance. Maybe even if he combined all four inheritances, it wouldn’t amount to half of this.

Just as he was thinking, he heard Ming Yue’s voice.

"Junior brother, here."

Ming Yue pushed her storage bag to him. He took it.

When he looked inside, the situation was similar. Now he was definitely sure that it was but an unsaid favour for them.

Yi Lin also looked quite happy, so it was a given that she had received more than enough.

"If you guys want to climb the mountain, you can begin now."
