The man from the Azure Sky Sect didn’t react to her but looked towards Jiang Hao. He was given a ssage by the main consciousness directly inside his mind about soone issuing him a challenge. He had two minutes to accept the challenge; if he didn’t, then ownership of the house would be passed to Jiang Hao.
He was weighing his options. Jing Tian had called this guy senior—was it fake or not? Did they do it just to obtain a house easily by instilling fear?
He knew that others were watching. If he gave up again, then his reputation along with that of his sect would fall in the eyes of others, and that was totally unacceptable.
Forget it—he had a lot of life-saving thods. He could prolong the fight if things didn’t go his way.
"I accept."

He wasn’t sure how strong Jiang Hao was. If the thing that scared Baofeng was a trick and Jiang Hao was truly weak, then he was done for. But if he really won, then there might be more to what Baofeng felt than re illusion.

Jiang Hao slowly pulled out his hand, and it was holding a still-beating heart. Jiang Hao looked at it calmly and spoke.
"Just checking if there’s anything different about a righteous heart—but looks like I have to be little disappointed. It’s darker than my expectations."
There was only utter despair in the eyes of the leader. He didn’t know what had happened. Before his body felt cold and stopped responding, he could even see his own heart slowly stop beating in Jiang Hao’s hand.
The people beca stunned—then terrified. The most terrified was the man who had mocked Jiang Hao outside the gate. He was trembling. He decided on the spot not to leave this safe zone even by mistake.
Jing Tian himself was terrified, along with the group of cultivators from both sects. They could only see a blur, nothing else, it was totally beyond their perceptions.
That speed was too fast. What kind of speed was that? Was that even possible for a Core Formation realm cultivator?

Yu Yan nodded absentmindedly. She also had fear in her heart. They had been traveling with this man—and it had been outside the safe zone. Given his strength, he could have easily killed them all. Not to ntion, she was quite beautiful—top three in her sect. It wasn’t an empty title.
She trembled internally, thinking if Jiang Hao had really wanted to, she might not have been able to commit suicide on her own accord.
