Jiang Hao began moving again. The hidden person didn’t follow him back because of the beast nearby. He really wanted to know how that person would have attacked him, but it looked like it wouldn’t be possible now.
After asking the question, the young man didn’t speak anymore. Although he must be dying to know the answer, Jiang Hao hadn’t answered his question and had instead asked his own.
The young man was secretly gritting his teeth. If not for his spirit beast’s life, he wouldn’t have given face to Jiang Hao, as there was no way he would have been able to attack him.

There was another question he wanted to ask, so he asked it.
"What do the sects say about the new criminals?"
The young man was surprised, but instead of answering directly, he complained.
"Senior, aren’t you bullying ... forget it. I’m surprised that you didn’t know about it. They said that two elders of the Azure Sky Sect have joined forces with spirit beasts and are even living in the forbidden zone with them.
They have also brought their disciples, Ming Yue and Jiang Hao, with them.

You must have heard about them, senior. Even in our region, we have heard the stories of how beautiful and talented they were.

Jiang Hao shook his head. He shouldn’t have asked that question. This guy surely knew how to babble non-stop.
Well, he got his answer, so at least that was a good outco. Also, this guy was from the Northern Region.
Just as the young man was about to ask his earlier question again in hopes of getting an answer this ti, they saw another group of cultivators—two won and one man, with two spirit beasts. One was in the early stage of Grade Four, while the other was at the peak of Grade Three.
They were already quite close to the safe zone, which was a city according to this young man. So, it wasn’t surprising to et another group of cultivators.
Of this group, two people were definitely from the sa sect as they wore the sa sect robes. It was one of the won and the man, while the other woman had different robes. But Jiang Hao had seen those robes before; they were the sa as the young man beside him.
Given the young man’s surprise, they definitely belonged to the sa sect.
The eyes of the won lit up too. It was a given that they even knew each other quite well.
"Senior Brother Jing, looks like my luck isn’t bad. Now you have to protect from now on."
"Junior Sister Yu, you really know how to joke around. You are one of the top geniuses in the sect, just like . What right do I have to protect you?"
"Well, since I say so, you have to do it, or else I will complain to my father."

Jiang Hao had stopped when they t these new people. He started moving again while this conversation was going on—his goal was the city.
When Jing Tian saw that Jiang Hao was leaving again, he imdiately looked at his junior sister and said,

Yu Yan also saw Jiang Hao moving. She was surprised. She thought that this guy was moving together with her senior brother for his safety, but seeing him leave and her senior brother’s eagerness to follow him painted a different story.
"Why do you want to follow him, Senior Brother?"
Jiang Hao was already quite far away. His walking speed might be slow, but that was only relative to mortals.
"Let’s go. I will tell you on the way."
Yu Yan nodded and looked toward the other pair she had been traveling with.
"You guys co too."
They nodded and began catching up to Jiang Hao.
Jiang Hao didn’t care what they did. He just maintained his original pace.
"The reason I am following this guy is because he is in the Soul Sea Realm."
Jing Tian started explaining, but his voice was low. Since they were still quite a distance away, he thought Jiang Hao wouldn’t be able to hear it.
"That’s impossible. How could he have co here then? You must be mistaken."
Yu Yan didn’t believe him. The other two also nodded their heads.
"Well, Baofeng was afraid of him. You know what that ans, right?"
Yu Yan was stunned but still couldn’t quite believe it. But since he was so sure, then maybe it was possible.
"But how? The regional barrier wouldn’t allow anyone to pass for a day. Or is this inheritance site different from others?"
"That’s what I thought. But since master hadn’t ntioned it, that shouldn’t be the case. Forget it, there’s no point in guessing. He is going toward the city. Let’s just follow him. I will try to ask him so questions. If he answers, that will be better."
"What’s the point of going to the city if he can’t enter? Is he finding so acquaintance of his?"
"Maybe."
Jiang Hao could easily hear their conversation. After Jing Tian was done with his assumptions, Yu Yan introduced Jing Tian to the two new cultivators she had been traveling with. She t the woman first, and they decided to travel together. Later, they t the woman’s sect mate and grouped up.
These two were also from a top sect from the Southern Region and were famous geniuses. Jiang Hao wasn’t surprised upon hearing that. Reaching the Eastern Region from any other without strong backing was impossible, and big sects would only send their geniuses to benefit from the inheritance site.
He wondered if anyone from the Western Region had co or not. They were the farthest from the Eastern Region, after all.
Just as he was thinking this, his eyes fell on another group of cultivators who were traveling together. Now that they had almost reached the city, it was a given that they would encounter more groups.
Jiang Hao stopped and looked at the group. The other group also stopped when they saw another group of cultivators.
The reason Jiang Hao stopped was that the group consisted of cultivators from Blazing Valley. There were three of them, out of a total of seven in the group. The others might be itinerant cultivators or from big families—their robes didn’t match.
Jiang Hao was deep in thought. Should he kill them? He always considered himself neither devil nor saint. The reason he attacked the cultivators of Blazing Valley before was because they were the ones who started it.
He shook his head. Finding out if these people were good and innocent was easy, and now that they were heading to the sa safe zone as him, they could never leave his eyes.
Jing Tian also eyed this group of cultivators. Before he t Jiang Hao, he was attacked by a group who thought he was an easy target.
Jiang Hao walked away. Jing Tian and the others followed. The group of seven also walked on their own. They were a little on edge right now.
They didn’t want conflict to occur. They had grouped together for safety, and seeing those spirit beasts—which consisted of a big wolf, a lion, and a bear—was terrifying.
Although these beasts couldn’t attack them, they could still block their attacks. Their attacks wouldn’t even harm the beasts’ fur, much less the cultivators behind them.
After walking for a while, they saw a straight, clear road leading toward the city. The city gates were already visible.
Jiang Hao was amazed by the sheer size of the gates. They were far bigger than any city gates he had seen outside.
The city walls were the sa size as the gates. He couldn’t understand the need for it. It’s not like there were spirit beasts inside this world that created beast tides.
Was this just for show? Maybe it was.
As they walked closer, they could see other cultivators entering the city. So were alone, so with their spirit beasts, while others were in groups like them.
"Finally, we arrived at our first safe zone. I hope we can find soone else from our sect," said the woman from the Southern Region.
"Well, almost everybody hopes that. But chances are low. The consciousness that rules over the inheritance site isn’t foolish enough to make such a simple mistake."
