Nolan looked at the boy called Jack and chuckled, "Alright, let's fight then."
Eventually, Nolan pointed his sword towards Jack, as if provoking the man. However, Jack didn't move, continuing to stay in the sa spot.
"What? Don't you want to fight now?" Nolan's voice filled with confusion. He didn't know what this Jack guy wanted to do, he could bet one of his kidneys that this Jack was sent by soone to make things difficult for him or more precisely, he was sent by his brother.
Jack smiled when he heard Nolan and said, "It is forbidden to fight in the territory of the clan. Without special reason or agreent between two people, no one could fight inside the clan to other clansn. Though we are fighting with our own will; who knows if you get hurt by in the fight you won't go crying to the elders of the clan. At that ti I won't have any proof to prove that it was a mutual agreent."
Nolan looked at the cunning smile of Jack and where this talk was going; therefore, he didn't waste his ti, and speaking annoyingly, "Don't waste my precious ti you useless shit, just sign a contract."
"You!.." A furious expression erged on the other party's face, however, he controlled his anger. He looked at Nolan viciously and said, "Alright, let's sign the contract. Anything can happen in the fight after all. Or if you were to lose your pathetic life by my hands, I will be in deep shit."
"Huh? You are already in deep shit, you piece of shit. You are going to lose your heavenly jewels today and you are still so happy. What a weirdo...sigh." Nolan signed emotionally as if grieving for this man's upcoming life.
"You bastard!" Jack shouted furiously, his entire body was trembling due to anger. How dare this cripple talk to him like this!?
"Alright Nolan, I accept that you have one sharp tongue but it won't save you later." A cruel look appeared on his face when he stared at Nolan. At this mont, he wanted nothing more than to tear this bastard apart in hundreds of pieces.
Afterwards, he took out a parchnt and signed a contract. Then threw it towards Nolan, "Sign it.'
"Brother Nolan "
Suddenly, a worried voice ca from behind him. Nolan looked at the perfect face of the beauty who was filled with worry at the mont. Looking at her face, Nolan's heart trembled.
A foreign feeling appeared in his heart; he felt he had to protect this lady no matter what. Only a bastard would reject such a good woman.
Without realising, Nolan's hand cupped her beautiful face in his hands, caressing her soft cheeks gently. A gentle smile appeared on his face as he said, "You silly girl. Do you think I would lose to that guy whose face is ugly as a toad and eyes like an owl? I would prefer to be defeated by a gorgeous lady like you."
Eva imdiately froze on the spot. She didn't think Nolan would say such a thing in front of so many people. Her entire face turned beet red due to embarrassnt, sweat feelings appeared in the beauty's heart.
Nolan himself didn't know why he said such a thing, but he knew that only a bastard would hurt a lady like her. He wanted to protect her mischievous smile for the rest of his life.
Jack looked at the two people who were acting so lovey-dovey and anger appeared on his face. Eva was the number one beauty of the clan; many people wanted to make her theirs, in those people Jack was also included. Therefore, when he saw that Nolan was touching a lady's face without any restrain, he felt as if a dagger pierced his heart.
"Are you going to sign it or not? If you don't want to sign it, then get lost from here!" a shout disturbed the duo. Nolan turned and saw Jack's trembling body.
He looked at the man before asking in confusion, "Brother, are you suffering from epilepsy?"
"..."
No one knew whether to laugh or cry. This Nolan was too cruel. He won't let any chance pass to strike his enemy.
"Well, whatever, let sign the contract.." Nolan looked at the jack and released a sorrowful sigh.
'Just you wait I am going to make you regret!' Jack gritted his teeth in indignance, glaring at his adversary viciously. If a look could kill a person, Nolan would have died thousands of deaths by now.
"Alright, it's done. Let fight," a wild excitent could be seen in Nolan's face. He was looking too eager to fight which confused many people. He couldn't cultivate, then where the hell his confidence cos from?
Jack looked at Nolan and curled his lips in disdain. Now, he would let him know who was the boss.
Nolan looked at Jack's expression, he didn't pay any attention. He just wanted to fight with the man. It would be his first fight with a human after all. He was eager to try his skills.
Eventually, Jack also took out his sword, pointing it towards Nolan. Every elent user could practice any weapon. They would be able to combine their elental energy and sword energy together. That was the reason why the elent cultivator acted high and mighty in front of the pure weapon type cultivator.
"Co, I will let you see the power of the elental cultivator today," Jack said with a confident smile, his eyes shining with ruthlessness.
"Go, brother Jack. Break every bone in this arrogant brat's body," soone encouraged his leader.
"Yes boss, I want you to humiliate him. Thrash him under your foot," another boy said, even an idiot would be able to tell that they were trying to curry favour with him.
"Don't worry, I will make his life worse than death." there was no apprehension on his face. They have signed an agreent after all. Until he doesn't kill Nolan, no one would say anything to him, even if he skinned the man alive. Such were the rules of the clan.
"Good luck, brother Nolan," just when Nolan walked towards Jack, a weak voice resounded from his behind. Nolan stopped and looked at the worried face of the beauty, his heart ached at the sight.
Eventually, he smiled towards the lady and said, "Just wait and watch how your man would thrash these lowly peasants."
Eva couldn't help but chuckle at his arrogant words but then her face red when heard his entire sentence. This bastard! Eva pouted, but her heartthrob with excitent.
"Co!" Nolan pointed his sword at the man before shouting.
"Hmph!" Jack snorted without replying, but his sword was already in front of Nolan.
Nolan looked at the sword attack with a calm expression. There wasn't a bit of worry on his handso face. Only calmness could be seen.
Suddenly, the sword attack turned crimson red, increasing the temperature of the surrounding.
When the sword was just an inch away from him, he raised his sword, blocking the attack without any problem. It was almost effortless.
"Boom!"
A deafening sound resounded in the entire area.
"Brother Nolan!"
When the swords collided, Nolan heard a shout full of worry and a smile full of warmth appeared on his face. However, after that, his two eyes shined with a dark and green light.
"Argh!"
A painful groan resounded and the two fighters separated from each other. Nolan was still standing at the sa place. However, Jack had fallen more than ten steps back. Drops of blood were dripping from the corner of his mouth.
Imdiately, everyone who was shouting fell silent. No one dared to speak a single sentence at the mont. They were dumbstruck by the developnt of the event. No one had expected that Nolan would be able to push back. Furthermore, from his expression, it seems as if it didn't take much of his effort.
He was terrifyingly calm.
"Am I hallucinating?" finally soone broke the silence.
"He-he pushed Jack back without putting much effort."
"Ohh my god! Since when did pure sword cultivators beco this powerful?"
"Too terrifying! I am not going to provoke this madman again."
"Looks like he was hiding his strength all this ti."
As Jack heard the discussion of the surrounding people his face turned green from sha. He couldn't even take out a pure sword cultivator. Who would call him boss and senior brother from now on? If he couldn't defeat Nolan today, he would lose his fa and beco only a stepping stone for Nolan.
"No! I won't let you win! I will kill you!" Jack completely lost his mind and dashed towards Nolan like an angry bull.
"Die!"
At this mont, a cruel smile appeared on Nolan's face. Just when the attack was about to smash his head, he sidestepped, avoiding the attack with no effort at all.
"Kacha!"
Suddenly, a sound of sothing breaking sounded; however, after that sound, a horrible shriek echoed in the entire forest.
"Ahhh!"
"Sigh sorry for your missing heavenly jewels." a voice full of sorrow followed after the shriek.
