Chapter 137: Chapter 137: 350000000 Divine Needles

Having heard Wukong’s words, Tathagata sneered and said, “What a joke, how can I, the revered ruler of the world, stoop to engage with a wild monkey like you?”

Wukong sneered back, “I am the Green Emperor of the Demon Tribe, also the revered ruler of the demon world. Do you dare to fight?”

Tathagata shook his head slightly and said, “A bunch of uncivilized beasts, how are they worthy of fighting !”

Yuan Hong, unable to restrain himself, cursed, “Tathagata, have the teachings of the Buddhist sect flown out of your head? All beings are equal. What does it matter if we are demons? Were Zhun Ti and Jie Yin born as humans?”

Jie Yin was not born a human, nor was Zhun Ti.

This remark left Tathagata sowhat speechless, but then Bodhisattva Birupaksa laughed and said, “I’ll take over for Buddha Ancestor in this battle, I am just a re Bodhisattva after all, but I too want to witness the might of the Green Emperor. However, it seems that, back during the Journey to the West, the Green Emperor also ca to

for help to subdue the Hundred-eyed Demon Lord? Alas, I can’t quite rember. I wonder if it was so.”

Fighting involves many strategies, and Bodhisattva Birupaksa’s words aid to poke at Wukong’s wounds with deceit and trickery, to disrupt Wukong’s Dao heart, increasing her chances of victory in the fight.

Wukong heard Birupaksa’s words and was not annoyed; having severed both his good and evil corpses, deceiving his heart was not easily done.

With the arrival of this group of Buddhas, all involved in the fight took sides, facing each other. Even Guang Chengzi joined the side of Water Curtain Cave, for having killed three Bodhisattvas, the Buddhist Sect would inevitably seek retribution, and he was outnumbered alone.

“Yunzhongzi, Qingxu Daode Zhenjun, Yu Ding Zhenren… reveal yourselves!” Tathagata sneered.

The favored disciples of Lord of Primordial Beginning, hidden among the clouds and using magic to conceal their presence, awaited an opportunity to strike a sneak attack.

Having their cover blown by Tathagata, they no longer concealed themselves and directly materialized, revealing their forms. Trying a sneak attack was not shaful—in the past even Saints did so. Wasn’t the Eastern Emperor Taiyi killed by a sneak attack from Jie Yin Taoist and Zhun Ti Taoist?

Wukong then said to Birupaksa, “Then let’s experience Bodhisattva Birupaksa’s techniques!”

Birupaksa nodded, her left hand holding a flower basket, as she gracefully stepped forward from the ranks of the boundless Bodhisattvas.

However, the Golden-Winged Great Peng King stepped forward before her and said, “Why trouble the Bodhisattva? I’ll kill him and settle our karma!”

Seeing the Golden-Winged Great Peng King step forward, Wukong said, “You are no match for !”

Startled by these words, the Golden-Winged Great Peng King then cursed angrily, “Arrogant!”

With those words, he ignored the attempts of those around him to restrain him and, with a stretch of his wings, charged forward, golden light appearing instantly. In the blink of an eye, he was before Wukong, and his wings spread again, unleashing nine thousand Sword Qi streaks towards Wukong!

“The Sword Dao of a Great Luo Golden Immortal, still not good enough…” Wukong murmured. A trace of Dao trace in his Golden Core trembled slightly, a sharp aura burst forth from inside him, even surpassing the four Sword Masters, including Xin Chuixue.

The nine thousand Sword Qi streaks instantly halted as if recognizing their master, and instead, turned back to strike the Golden-Winged Great Peng King.

The Golden-Winged Great Peng King was shocked. These nine thousand Sword Qi streaks, refined from his feathers, belonged to Sword Dao—which even though incomplete, was still part of the Sword Dao encompassed within three thousand Great Paths. How could his minor path withstand a major one?

“You are inadequate!” Wukong shouted, sweeping his staff and shattering the void in front. A section of the staff appeared and smashed fiercely against the chest of the Golden-Winged Great Peng King, sending him flying, his wings streaming with blood, nearly broken.

Wukong coldly said, “The Lion Cal King was ignorant and t his end at my hand. This staff stroke, rembering our past relations, would otherwise have sent you straight to the Deification Platform!”

The Golden-Winged Great Peng King, secretly shocked, dared not make further noise and returned to Tathagata’s side.

All present, whether from the Buddhist Sect or the Demon Tribe, watched Wukong with so shock. How was it that just at the Great Luo Golden Immortal realm, he could control the mystery of shattering the void? Little did they know that the void Dao was naturally encompassed within those Three Thousand Great Paths, which ant he had mastered the techniques exclusive to Sect Founders.

Birupaksa Bodhisattva then said, “Let

be the one.”

Wukong said, “Even Tathagata coming forth would be fine.”

Birupaksa said, “How could the revered ruler of the world so easily make a move? Co then, let

see your thods.”

Wukong no longer wasted words with Birupaksa Bodhisattva, for he knew well her formidable abilities. Seizing his Buddha Beating Staff, he charged forward and swung it directly at her crown!

Birupaksa chanted an incantation, lifting her flower basket into the air to block the incoming staff, but Wukong’s staff technique, having been refined by Yuan Hong, was extrely tricky. With a twist of force, the staff in his hand shrank and then quickly enlarged, striking towards Birupaksa’s chest.

As a Patriarch Level character, Birupaksa found Wukong’s Three Thousand Great Paths useless against her. She rely needed to enhance her own combat power. Why? Because as a Primordial Golden Immortal, she had grasped a hint of Primordial Dao Fruit, defining her own path, impervious to hundreds of ghosts and myriad evils, not to ntion that Birupaksa had also touched upon a thread of the Heavenly Dao Laws, making her combat power nearly rival that of Tathagata.

With a flick of her wrist, Birupaksa’s sleeves shot out like dragons, coiling around the staff, unwinding and shaking it, which imdiately unloaded much of its force. Then, from her sleeves flashed out 7200 steel needles, sealing off all possible routes for Wukong!

Wukong, with a thought, had already raised the Great Revolution Seal, thankful that he had never underestimated Birupaksa and had always been ready to deploy his Magical Treasure. Would he now be shot into a sieve by these steel needles? Scythes and axes materialized, revolving rapidly around Wukong, watertight and impervious to fire, brutally converting the incoming steel needles into dust with resounding cracks.

Although the steel needles were powerful, they were reduced to nothing more than clay chickens and pottery dogs before the scythe of the Great Revolution Seal.

Guang Chengzi, a master of seal arts, upon seeing Wukong deploy the Great Revolution Seal, couldn’t help but exclaim inwardly, “What a piece! Ford from the collective will and grand aspirations of beings, along with its master’s profound beliefs, truly powerful! Without trendous fortune, if one tried to cultivate such a seal, they would likely be struck dead by the Heavenly Dao thunder tribulation.”

As previously ntioned, Wukong, originally the Sky-nding Stone left by Nuwa, bore the rit of nding the sky and naturally possessed great fortune. Unless he committed acts abhorrent to both gods and n, he would not be subjected to the Heavenly Dao thunder tribulation.

With 7200 steel needles shattered by the scythe, more than 3000 break. Although Birupaksa was wealthy and powerful, upon seeing her Magical Treasure about to be destroyed, she couldn’t bear it any longer, retracting her Magical Treasures with a gesture, thinking, “This seal is extrely peculiar, perhaps even more formidable than Guang Chengzi’s Sky-Overturning Seal. These ordinary Magical Treasures can hardly compete against this collective will.” Thus, she decided to combat him with Demon-Extinguishing Divine Needles, refined from the Incense Willpower of all beings.

Birupaksa said, “Sun Wukong, if I call you, would you dare to answer?”

Wukong thought, “Answer you? I fear it’s not Laozi’s kind of Magical Treasure?”

He did not respond, rely gripping his staff silently and resuming the attack.

Birupaksa never really had Laozi’s Purple Gold Gourd, or any similar treasure that terrifying. Had he possessed one, upon sealing soone inside and affixing a talisman with the incantation “In urgent accordance like the decree from the Supre Elderly Lord,” the captive inside would turn into a puddle of blood in an instant, their Primordial Spirit unable to escape.

Birupaksa stepped back continually in the void, striking with hand seals to keep Wukong at bay montarily.

With a flip of her hand, a gourd appeared in her palm, but this gourd was not Laozi’s Purple Gold Gourd, but rather a yellow one, containing 350 million steel needles forged from the collective Incense Willpower of all beings, which possessed considerable power. Once deployed, it would overwhelm the sky.

Wukong had once been captured by a Purple Gold Gourd, albeit a counterfeit. Otherwise, how could he have escaped? Just a chant of the Golden Horn and Silver Horn Incantation and the stick of a talisman would obliterate his form and spirit. He naturally dreaded the power of this gourd, assuming it could encapsulate people just like Laozi’s treasure.

“Bam!” Birupaksa uttered True Words, activating the Demon-Extinguishing Divine Needles.

Imdiately upon opening the gourd, a silver light burst forth, and 350 million steel needles shot out!

“Four Daoist brothers, lend

your Divine Swords!” At Wukong’s inner Three Thousand Great Paths, his Sword Dao trembled, and soon the Divine Swords in the hands of the four Sword Masters flew out on their own, positioning themselves in front of Wukong, parrying the steel needles.

The four Sword Masters were taken aback, amazed that he could silently take the swords from their hands, finding it quite eerie.

Wukong then raised his Heavenly chanism Staff, from which the Star Picking Divine Ape erged, reaching out to block the Demon-Extinguishing Divine Needles.

But there were simply too many Demon-Extinguishing Divine Needles, a staggering 350 million. Compared to the 480 million Blood God Child incarnations of the Nether River Patriarch, how much more formidable was this? Even though the Great Revolution Seal was raised to block these needles, forged from the collective incense willpower, Birupaksa had diligently refined them for tens of thousands of years without using them until now, they would soon return to attack again.

The air around Wukong whirled with the qi of swords, scythes, axes, and staffs, enveloping him completely. The 350 million steel needles battered him, creating a crashing chorus, but the occasional few hundred needles that penetrated were swiftly dealt with by Wukong using the Heavenly Emperor’s Giant Seal.

Birupaksa smirked coldly, pinching a Seal Technique, instantly tripling the power of these steel needles!

“Truly a formidable patriarch! Incomparable to any Daluo Golden Immortal,” Wukong inwardly lanted with dismay.

Birupaksa was indeed a venerable Sect Founder, her thods extraordinary. Wukong found himself at a disadvantage in this magical duel!

Gathering back his Heavenly chanism Staff, Wukong then raised the World-Cleansing Dust Whisk, from which surged waves of Seven-Colored Divine Light, sending the 350 million steel needles swirling back. For the mont, neither could gain the upper hand! Now a Daluo Golden Immortal, Wukong finally revealed so of the power of the World-Cleansing Dust Whisk, sowhat reminiscent of the Seven Treasures Wonderful Tree’s irresistible sweeping.

Taking advantage of this, the Traveler, erging from within Wukong, lifted the Heavenly chanism Staff and, bearing the Green Lotus, struck directly at Birupaksa’s crown!
