“How did you know?” Zheng Yanyan looked shocked.

“...”

“Did she tell you?”

“No, I just guessed,” Zhou Yuwen dodged the question, but from his conversation with Zheng Yanyan, it was clear that Zheng Yanyan still harbored resentnt towards Lu Lin. For instance, she kept telling Zhou Yuwen how strange Lu Lin seed.

“To be honest, this is the first ti in my life that I've had a female friend who likes to smoke, and she even said she was going to spend the night at an internet café.”

Despite acting all friendly with Lu Lin, Zheng Yanyan was gossiping with Zhou Yuwen about her behind her back.

Zhou Yuwen replied, “Maybe she’s got sothing on her mind?”

“Like what? It doesn’t seem like her family is short on money,” Zheng Yanyan wondered.

Zhou Yuwen simply replied with a few ellipses, clearly not wanting to talk about it. But since Zheng Yanyan had no one else to share her gossip with, she kept on talking to Zhou Yuwen.

Eventually, they started discussing couple’s profile pictures and matching shirts. Zhou Yuwen told her to just send him a link and he’d take care of it.

“I’ll pay,” he said.

One of the perks of dating Zhou Yuwen was that he was never stingy with money, which made Zheng Yanyan feel genuinely loved. She smiled and replied, “I’ll pay for it.”

“Your girlfriend isn’t broke, you know (blushing emoji).”

“Impressive (thumbs up emoji).”

They chatted a bit more until Zhou Yuwen said he needed to sleep because he had class in the morning.

Zheng Yanyan pouted, “I don’t have class tomorrow. Chat with

a little longer.”

Zhou Yuwen: “Co on.”

“Well, then how about I co over to your place right now (blushing emoji)?”

“I’m going to sleep.”

Zhou Yuwen, having already been with Lu Lin earlier, had no interest in what Zheng Yanyan was suggesting. This left her feeling a bit disappointed.

Zhou Yuwen stayed in the living room for a while, sipping on a third of his whiskey. Then he went back to his room and cuddled up with Lu Lin for the night. Lu Lin was very well-behaved while sleeping.

Originally, she had been playing on her phone, but when Zhou Yuwen beckoned her, “Co here, sleep with ,” she obediently crawled over like a kitten and snuggled up in his arms.

She was slender and wasn’t wearing any clothes, lying there naked under the covers with Zhou Yuwen. Holding Lu Lin’s soft, delicate body, Zhou Yuwen quickly fell asleep.

When he woke up the next morning, Lu Lin was still fast asleep in his arms. Zhou Yuwen reached for his phone and saw that it was already past 7 a.m. While he had been asleep, Zheng Yanyan had sent him several more ssages, including:

“Hubby, I can’t sleep.”

“I’m so bored!”

“Hubby, are you awake?”

“[Picture] Hehe, the panties you bought , they’re so comfy.”

Bored and with nothing to do, Zheng Yanyan had snapped a picture of her long, slender legs under the blanket, wearing a pair of red CK panties that perfectly complented her legs.

By now, Lu Lin had woken up and, seeing the picture from Zheng Yanyan, she chuckled. “Sending you stuff like this early in the morning—how are you supposed to resist that?”

“What do you think?”

Lu Lin reached under the blanket and fiddled around a bit before rolling her eyes. “Are you made of iron?”

“You seem to know a lot,” Zhou Yuwen replied.

Both Zhou Yuwen and Lu Lin preferred sleeping naked, so they were literally holding each other with no barriers. Zhou Yuwen, being young and full of energy, couldn’t help but be aroused by Lu Lin’s smooth skin...

Compared to Zheng Yanyan’s CK-clad legs, the legs Zhou Yuwen was holding were far more tempting.

Lu Lin rolled her eyes at Zhou Yuwen but was still considerate. She turned over and lay on top of him, pressing her body against his while kissing his neck.

...

Her body rubbed against his leg like a feather duster, except this feather duster seed to have gotten wet.

...

“Mmm...”

Soon, Lu Lin was sitting up on top of Zhou Yuwen.

...

After taking care of Zhou Yuwen’s needs, he quickly washed up. “I have class this morning. You can stay here as long as you like. Leave whenever you want.”

“Here’s the key.”

“I’ll leave with you,” Lu Lin said, slipping into her jeans.

Zhou Yuwen replied, “We only got a few hours of sleep last night.”

“You should get so more rest,” he insisted.

“I can sleep just as well in the dorm,” she said.

Despite his protests, Lu Lin was adamant, so Zhou Yuwen didn’t push it. He drove her to school, and she asked him to drop her off near a food street so she could grab breakfast.

As he parked the car, Zhou Yuwen asked, “Do you have enough money?”

It was funny; the whole reason their relationship had started was because of money, but now that they were actually together, Lu Lin was embarrassed to talk about it. When Zhou Yuwen asked her, she replied vaguely, “I have enough, I guess.”

Zhou Yuwen chuckled, “What do you an ‘enough, I guess?’”

“It’s enough to keep

from starving,” Lu Lin smiled.

This made Zhou Yuwen laugh even more. He pulled out 3,000 yuan from his wallet and handed it to her.

“Take this.”

“I don’t need your money.”

Zhou Yuwen asked why, and she mumbled sothing about not needing it right now. “Two thousand yuan a month is enough for .”

“And what if two thousand isn’t enough?” Zhou Yuwen asked.

“Then I’ll get a part-ti job. Didn’t you say car show models can make 300 yuan a day? I’d like to give that a try.”

Zhou Yuwen had thought Lu Lin wasn’t short on money, but it turned out she just wanted to work. His smile faded as he said, “Don’t take those jobs.”

“Just take the money,” he insisted when she tried to refuse again. “Those jobs aren’t for you,” he said, pressing the money into her hands.

“You know, this reminds

of sothing I read in a novel,” Lu Lin said, smiling.

“You read novels?” Zhou Yuwen asked.

“Yeah. In the novel, the male lead tells the female lead in a domineering tone,” Lu Lin mimicked a deep voice, “You’re my woman. I won’t let you do any lowly jobs.”

Zhou Yuwen laughed, and Lu Lin couldn’t help but laugh too.

“You have such a beautiful smile,” Zhou Yuwen said, admiring her.

The complint made Lu Lin stop smiling abruptly.

She realized that ever since being with Zhou Yuwen, she’d been much more cheerful than before.

“I should go. There are too many people here, and it wouldn’t be good if soone saw us,” Lu Lin said.

Even though the convertible top was up, the BMW M4 wasn’t exactly a subtle car for everyday use. Before leaving, Lu Lin took 200 yuan from the 3,000 and said, “I’ll take this as an advance for my als. You can give

the rest next month.”

“Bye-bye!”

With that, Lu Lin waved confidently, got out, and shut the car door.

Zhou Yuwen couldn’t help but be more intrigued by her the more ti he spent with her.

After dropping off Lu Lin, Zhou Yuwen headed to class. By the ti he arrived, it was already 9 a.m., and he was clearly late.

Su Qing didn’t have class today. After her fight with Zheng Yanyan the night before, she hadn’t slept well either, as Zheng Yanyan’s mocking words kept ringing in her ears.

“Even if you really dated Zhou Yuwen before, he doesn’t want you anymore! Zhou Yuwen is my boyfriend now! You’re nothing!”

Because of this, Su Qing had barely slept and was already up by 8 a.m., waiting in Zhou Yuwen’s classroom.

She hadn’t put on makeup, just a simple pink T-shirt paired with black shorts, showing off her pale legs.

By 8:15, Zhou Yuwen’s classmates started trickling in, and they noticed Su Qing sitting in the back.

“Who’s that?”

“Isn’t she from the architecture design departnt? I know her; I think her na is Su Qing.”

“She’s the one who hosted the freshman event.”

Su Qing was naturally beautiful, and since she had hosted the freshman party, she had gained so recognition. People quickly rembered who she was.

But what was she doing in their class?

“She’s really pretty.”

Su Qing kept to herself, acting cold and distant, and didn’t speak to anyone.

Around this ti, Chang Hao and his dorm mates strolled in, running a bit late. Chang Hao was surprised to see Su Qing sitting in the back of the classroom and had no idea why she was there.

But with her “stay away” deanor, no one dared approach her.

Like usual, they found seats that were neither too close to the front nor too far back. As soon as they sat down, Liu Yue turned around and whispered, “Hey, isn’t that the girl who used to hang around Zhou Yuwen?”

Liu Yue asked Chang Hao, but before he could answer, Li Qiang grinned and said, "What, Sister Yue, you still have a thing for Brother Zhou?"

Liu Yue rolled her eyes, annoyed at Li Qiang’s teasing. She turned back to Chang Hao and asked again, “Hey, Chang Hao, do you know that girl?”

“I don’t know,” Chang Hao replied, not interested in continuing the conversation.

Zhou Yuwen’s dorm and Liu Yue’s dorm had a decent relationship. Back when Zhou Yuwen was the class representative and Gu Yaoyao was the vice representative, the two dorms often had interactions. Liu Yue had a crush on Zhou Yuwen at the ti, but even after Zhou Yuwen stepped down as class rep, the two dorms remained close since both had a lot of class committee mbers. Compared to other dorms, they were more familiar with each other.

There were definitely so conversations between them about the opposite sex. For example, in Liu Yue’s dorm, the girls often discussed Zhou Yuwen. After realizing how much of a player he was, Liu Yue remarked that Chang Hao was actually a pretty good catch—he was from Beijing, ca from a good family, and was quite handso.

“I even ran into Chang Hao on the train when I went ho for break!”

Liu Yue had initially said she wasn’t going ho, but after her parents insisted she visit Beijing, she booked a train ticket and coincidentally ended up on the sa train as Chang Hao.

Unfortunately, Chang Hao was quite aloof and didn’t pay her much attention.

Because of this, Liu Yue had always kept an eye on Chang Hao. Since they were both from Beijing, she considered him almost like a hotown friend. She had even lived in Beijing for five years as a child, and she could speak the Beijing dialect fluently.

But for so reason, Chang Hao never seed to take notice of her.

As more and more students filled the classroom, Zhou Yuwen was still nowhere to be seen. Su Qing, who had been sitting quietly in the back, started to grow restless. After sitting there for a while, she finally got up and walked over to where Chang Hao was sitting.

Su Qing’s presence in a classroom where she didn’t belong had already attracted plenty of attention, and now that she was standing, even more people were curious about what she was going to do.

“Chang Hao,” Su Qing called out, drawing everyone’s eyes.

Chang Hao was caught off guard and asked, “What’s up?”

“Where’s Zhou Yuwen?”

“I don’t know. He doesn’t live in the dorm anymore,” Chang Hao answered.

“I see,” Su Qing replied. She had expected Zhou Yuwen to attend class but was disappointed to learn that he wasn’t coming. Without saying another word, she left the classroom.

After Su Qing left, a classmate turned to Chang Hao and asked, “Class Rep, who was that?”

“Your girlfriend?”

Feeling a strange sense of pride, Chang Hao hesitated for a mont before Li Qiang interrupted, “Don’t be ridiculous! She’s way too pretty to be interested in Chang Hao.”

“So, who was she?” the others asked, still curious about Su Qing’s identity and her connection to Chang Hao.

Li Qiang answered, “She’s looking for Zhou Yuwen.”

“She looked upset.”

The boys whispered among themselves. anwhile, a girl from Su Qing’s dorm, who had seen the drama last night, couldn’t help but speak up. “Don’t you know?”

“Huh?”

“That girl got into a fight with her roommate last night. They even ca to blows.”

“Really?”

“Yeah! Apparently, it was over a boyfriend.”

“A boyfriend?”

Hearing that word caught Chang Hao’s attention. He looked up and asked, “What’s the na of the girl she fought with?”

“I think it was... sothing like Zheng...”

“Zheng Yanyan?”

“Yeah! That’s it! How did you know?” the girl asked, her eyes lighting up.

Chang Hao imdiately stood up, but before he could say anything, the teacher walked in. Seeing Chang Hao standing there, the teacher asked, “Is there sothing you need?”

“No, nothing,” Chang Hao quickly sat back down.

“All right, let’s begin class.”

For the entire lesson, Chang Hao was unable to focus. He kept thinking about the fight and worrying about Zheng Yanyan. Even though she had blocked and deleted him, he still had her phone number saved.

Feeling uneasy, Chang Hao sent Zheng Yanyan a ssage: Are you okay?

But the ssage didn’t go through because she had blocked him.

Frustrated, Chang Hao began typing a text ssage instead. He hadn’t texted her before because he was afraid she would block his phone number too.

Zhou Yuwen finally showed up at 9 a.m., but there was no space left near Chang Hao and the others, so he sat next to Gu Yaoyao instead.

Sensing that people were whispering about him, Zhou Yuwen asked Gu Yaoyao, “What’s going on?”

Gu Yaoyao chuckled, “You don’t know about the ss you caused?”

Zhou Yuwen looked confused. “What ss?”

At that mont, he received a ssage from Su Qing: Tell the security guard to let

in.

Oh right, Zhou Yuwen lived in an upscale community where visitors needed permission from the owner to get in.

Zhou Yuwen replied, "Why are you at my place?"

"I have sothing to talk to you about
