Lu Lin had said she could only stay for ninety minutes, but that was far from enough ti. Just the kissing and touching alone took up over ten minutes, and Zhou Yuwen wasn’t fond of feeling rushed during tis like this.

Initially, Lu Lin had intended to limit their ti, but once Zhou Yuwen’s hands were on her, she seed to forget all about it.

They held each other closely, locked in a deep kiss. Zhou Yuwen’s hands moved from her slim waist downward, eventually flipping her jeans down.

Even with clothes still separating them, their bodies were pressed tightly together.

Slowly, Lu Lin’s jeans slipped down, revealing her alluring figure.

Feeling sowhat anxious, Lu Lin urged, “Hurry up, if Yanyan notices I’m not in the dorm, she’ll get suspicious.”

“Let her wonder then. Right now, I just want you.”

Not concerned with any further conversation, Zhou Yuwen simply lifted her into his arms and carried her to the bedroom.

With only ninety minutes, Lu Lin would need to be back at her dorm by a little after five.

Afterward, there wasn’t much ti left. Her jeans lay discarded on the sofa, and Zhou Yuwen, now feeling content, lay back on the bed with his hands behind his head.

As for Lu Lin, she wasn’t particularly expressive. Before they started, she’d insisted on taking all her clothes off, knowing that leaving any scent on them could be troubleso if Zheng Yanyan noticed. Plus, she only had two outfits to switch between.

Now, completely bare, she sat on the bed with her arms around her knees, glancing at the clock. Seeing the ti, she said, “I should head back now, or she’ll get suspicious.”

She stood and began to dress. Unlike other girls, who might feel shy after such intimacy, Lu Lin felt no need to hide. She bent over to put on her jeans without hesitation.

Zhou Yuwen watched her without a word. He wanted to ask her to stay, but he was beginning to realize that Lu Lin was a bit of an enigma. She would blush and let out soft gasps in response to him, even gripping the bedsheets as his pace quickened. And yet, she always held back, biting her lip to suppress her sounds.

Zhou Yuwen had a feeling that Lu Lin carried secrets she wasn’t ready to share, but since she kept things close to the chest, he saw no reason to press her. Perhaps, in her mind, this was just the nature of their relationship.

After getting dressed, Lu Lin asked, “I’m leaving.”

“Mm.”

Feeling a bit down, she nodded, then headed downstairs.

When she reached the lobby, the building’s manager greeted her with a polite smile. “Heading out, Miss Lu?”

Lu Lin, chewing gum, gave a slight nod.

Oh well. This place wasn’t hers, anyway.

Zhou Yuwen had bought a bunch of gifts for Lu Lin, which she packed into a black bag to take back to the dorm. When she arrived, her roommates were out.

She quickly stowed the items away, but just as she finished, the other girls burst into the room.

“Hey, what’s going on in here?” Zheng Yanyan called out as she entered, playfully trying to spook Lu Lin.

A bit caught off guard, Lu Lin managed an awkward smile, “What do you think?”

“Ohh, look at that blush! I don’t believe for a second you weren’t up to sothing! Missing soone, hmm?” Zheng Yanyan teased.

Su Qing rolled her eyes, “You’re one to talk. You haven’t even seen a guy up close.”

“Who says I haven’t? At least I have a boyfriend!”

The girls continued to banter until twilight, then left together for the auditorium.

The freshman welco event was just a week away, so rehearsals were being held at the auditorium every day.

After venting his energy with Lu Lin, Zhou Yuwen felt at ease. He had two evening classes on the schedule, but he wasn’t planning to attend. Instead, he cooked up so noodles at ho, then brought his laptop to the large window to work on his novel.

Around seven, he got a call from Chang Hao.

“Hello, Zhou?”

“Yep, what’s up?”

“Where are you?”

“At ho. I already cleared it with the teacher that I’m skipping class tonight,” Zhou Yuwen replied, realizing sothing as he spoke.

“Oh, it’s like this… Our class’s performance is a choir piece, and we’re rehearsing at the auditorium. If you’re free, could you drop by?” Chang Hao’s voice lacked confidence.

The class committee had spent a long ti discussing the event without landing on a solid plan. It wasn’t that their class lacked talented students, but to Chang Hao, the event wasn’t a solo talent show. He wanted a group performance to show unity, so they’d settled on a patriotic song for the choir.

This was the first ti Chang Hao had organized a performance, and he was putting a lot into it. The whole class was there, and he hoped Zhou Yuwen would join too.

“Is everyone there?”

“Yep, even Mr. You’s here.”

“Alright, I’ll stop by.”

With You Changjin attending, Zhou Yuwen figured it wouldn’t be right to slack off on this one.

By the ti he reached the auditorium, it was close to eight. The October evening air was full of mosquitoes, and the auditorium was brightly lit and packed with people.

Onstage, so girls from the Arts Departnt were practicing their dance moves, dressed in tank tops and white pleated skirts. Leading the dance was Zheng Yanyan, who waved at Zhou Yuwen the mont she saw him enter.

He returned her nod, then noticed You Changjin talking with Chang Hao as his classmates sat waiting for rehearsal. Zhou Yuwen joined them, greeting Mr. You.

“Did you enjoy Macau?” Mr. You asked, smiling.

Zhou Yuwen just smiled back, not giving an answer.

Mr. You’s question was mostly out of courtesy, as he’d placed all his hopes for the class on Chang Hao, now that Zhou Yuwen was no longer the class representative.

As everyone sat in preparation for the rehearsal, Mr. You continued chatting with Chang Hao, patting him on the shoulder. “Don’t let

down, alright? I’m bringing my girlfriend to the event.”

Chang Hao gave a bashful nod.

“Hey, Zhou,” Li Qiang called to Zhou Yuwen from his seat.

Zhou Yuwen sat down next to him.

“So, tell , where’d you and Yanyan go this afternoon?” Li Qiang asked, winking.

Zhou Yuwen chuckled. “Is this all you ever talk about?”

“Well, yeah. Just look at my girl, Linlin! Isn’t she gorgeous?” Li Qiang gestured for Zhou Yuwen to look up.

Onstage, the dancers were rehearsing, with Zheng Yanyan front and center and Lu Lin positioned less prominently in the back.

Zhou Yuwen glanced up and t Lu Lin’s eyes briefly, but they quickly looked away.

Li Qiang grinned, “You know, the lineup is all wrong. Why isn’t Lu Lin up front?”

“Linlin doesn’t even like you, so why keep calling her that?”

“She doesn’t like

now, but who’s to say that won’t change? Besides, you’re dating Yanyan, so you wouldn’t steal her from , right?” Li Qiang replied, easygoing as always.

Zhou Yuwen stayed silent. Following the rehearsal order, each act had to practice in sequence.

As they lined up for their turn, a number of students greeted Zhou Yuwen, particularly a few girls.

Curious, Li Qiang asked, “How do you know so many of these girls?”

Zhou Yuwen explained he’d t them while setting up a card.

Su Qing, who was a host for the event, stayed onstage, avoiding him.

anwhile, Shen Yu was working behind the scenes. As they passed backstage, she caught sight of Zhou Yuwen but didn’t greet him.

Chang Hao returned after seeing Mr. You off and joined them. He asked Zhou Yuwen, “Did you and Shen Yu have a falling out?”

“No, why?”

Li Qiang piped up, “Co on, our Brother Zhou doesn’t hold grudges. Maybe she’s upset he didn’t start dating her!”

Hearing this, Zhou Yuwen suddenly rembered why he’d called Lu Lin out earlier—to ask what Su Qing had said to them. But he’d forgotten all about it after being alone with Lu Lin in the bedroom.

Now, with Shen Yu’s chilly attitude, he figured Su Qing must have told them sothing.

So, Zhou Yuwen picked up his phone and sent Lu Lin a ssage: What exactly did Su Qing tell you about ?

“Hey, Zhou, got any plans later?” Chang Hao asked.

“Hm? Why?” Zhou Yuwen asked, a bit distracted.

Chang Hao smiled to himself, noticing Zhou Yuwen’s absent-mindedness. “If you’re free, the guys in our dorm are going for barbecue. My treat.”

“What ti will this end?” Zhou Yuwen wasn’t too enthusiastic about going.

Chang Hao’s offer was his way of showing goodwill. Even though Zhou Yuwen was dating Yanyan, he still wanted to stay friends.

After all, being friends with Zhou Yuwen ant getting closer to their class’s ‘goddesses.’ Cutting ties would only an losing those chances.

“You’re not ditching us just because you’re dating Yanyan, are you?” Chang Hao joked.

Zhou Yuwen shook his head, though in truth, he wasn’t all that interested in the gathering.

At that mont, Tao Tian, the head of the Arts Departnt, approached. She greeted Zhou Yuwen with a sweet voice, just like her personality.

“Zhou Yuwen, what are you doing here?”

Tao Tian was in her third year and stood out compared to the younger freshn. She had a curvier, more mature figure and wasn’t as tall as Lu Lin, but her fuller figure gave her an entirely different charm. Not to ntion, she had a very slim waist.

Today, she was dressed in black yoga pants that hugged her voluptuous thighs, making her figure even more prominent. Her top was a simple V-neck shirt, which highlighted her assets even more. She also had long, flowing hair.

Her beauty and poise had already made her a well-known figure among the freshn. Tao Tian had the grace of soone who had spent years refining her charm, making her interactions with others feel natural and confident.

Zhou Yuwen didn’t know that Tao Tian was so famous, but when she approached him, he smiled and replied, “Just here for class rehearsal.”

“What’s your class performing?”

“A group song.”

“A group song? Really?” Tao Tian frowned slightly. She hadn’t realized that Chang Hao was the class representative. To her, a group song seed like a last-resort option for classes that couldn’t co up with sothing more impressive.

“You play guitar so well, why settle for a group song? Why not just perform solo with your guitar?” she suggested.

“Old Zhou, you play guitar?” Li Qiang interjected, trying to attract Tao Tian’s attention.

Tao Tian glanced at Li Qiang, and he flashed her a smile.

Tao Tian then turned back to Zhou Yuwen and said, “Zhou Yuwen, there’s sothing I want to discuss with you.”

“What is it?” Zhou Yuwen asked.

Without answering, Tao Tian turned and walked away.

Tao Tian’s figure was just as srizing from behind, her yoga pants perfectly accentuating her curves. She truly knew how to flaunt her strengths, a skill she had honed over the past three years.

Zhou Yuwen followed her.

Li Qiang stared after them, lost in thought. “Hey, Chang Hao, how does Old Zhou know so many girls?”

“How would I know?” Chang Hao replied, feeling a bit annoyed. He couldn’t help but worry that Zheng Yanyan had made the wrong choice in dating Zhou Yuwen. Yet, he also thought, If Zhou Yuwen lets her down, I might still have a chance.

Tao Tian was different from the younger girls in their first year. She had an air of confidence, knowing exactly how to play to her strengths. Her effortless charm made every guy she interacted with wonder if she had a special interest in them.

“I wanted to ask you about that part-ti job you ntioned before. Is there anything better paying?” she inquired.

“Better paying? The highest I’ve heard of is 300 yuan a day. Why, what are you looking for?”

“Well, I want sothing more reliable,” Tao Tian said.

“In that case, with your figure, you could model part-ti,” Zhou Yuwen remarked, boldly sizing her up as he spoke.

Tao Tian smiled and twirled in front of him, gracefully rising onto her toes like a dancer. She knew exactly how to display her charm.

“See? Aren’t you srized?”

“If I didn’t have a girlfriend, I’d definitely be captivated,” Zhou Yuwen replied with a smile.

Up on stage, Zheng Yanyan noticed her boyfriend chatting and laughing with Tao Tian and couldn’t help but feel a bit jealous. She nudged Lu Lin. “Look at Tao Tian. What is she trying to do?”

Lu Lin had been about to ssage Zhou Yuwen, but Zheng Yanyan’s sudden interruption startled her.

“Huh?” Lu Lin asked absentmindedly.

At that mont, Zhou Yuwen received a reply from Lu Lin: Su Qing said that you two dated in high school and that you slept with her in your second year
