Lu Xiao didn’t disturb the four teachers, who were deep in thought. Instead, she turned and went to the consultation room. The mont she walked in, she saw the puzzle hanging on the wall.

Coincidentally, a ray of sunlight was shining on the puzzle. The picture was of a rising sun, and at that mont, it seed to perfectly match its the.

Lu Xiao walked over, wiped the picture fra, and smiled. ’The symbolism of this puzzle from Dean is really wonderful.’

The patient scheduled for the consultation room today was an old acquaintance: Vilke.

Lu Xiao rembered him. He worked in intelligence for the military, was quite talkative, and had a great personality.

Among all the patients Lu Xiao had treated, his condition was the mildest.

She didn’t have to wait long before the escorting officer brought Vilke into the consultation room.

Upon seeing Lu Xiao, Vilke took the initiative to greet her. "Good morning, Healer Lu."

"Good morning, Vilke. How has your week been?"

"I’ve spent every day wishing ti would pass faster, just so I could be happy about getting an appointnt in your consultation room. Lately, I’ve even been getting so high-quality sleep. No nightmares, either~"

"That sounds wonderful, Vilke. I’m very happy for you." After Vilke lay down, Lu Xiao turned on the instrunt to check the status of his Spirit Sea’s danger assessnt value over the past week.

Vilke, who was in the Early Stage, had a very stable condition. In fact, thanks to his improved sleep, his condition had even shown so improvent over the past week.

At this rate, after today’s Spiritual Soothing, Vilke’s Spirit Sea danger assessnt value would very likely drop below the S-Class threshold.

In other words, Vilke was highly likely to et the shelter’s criteria for discharge.

’This might be it,’ she thought, but Lu Xiao didn’t say anything out loud. After all, this was just the best-case scenario she had hoped for.

The final results would have to wait until after the treatnt was complete.

"How does it feel? Is the bed more comfortable than the chair?" Indeed, following her previous suggestion, the chairs in all the consultation rooms had now been replaced with beds.

"Yes, it’s much better. Did you have them changed specially, Healer Lu?"

"I figured you’d be much more comfortable sleeping this way." Lu Xiao smiled at Vilke and pulled on her gloves. "Let’s begin today’s treatnt. Get so good rest."

Treating Vilke was not difficult for Lu Xiao in the slightest, so she extended his session by an extra ten minutes.

Forty minutes later, Lu Xiao returned to the instrunt. As she’d hoped, Vilke’s spiritual danger assessnt value had indeed dropped below the S-Class threshold.

It was now in the A-level range.

All the lines representing his data values had turned green.

The data unequivocally showed that Vilke had recovered and t the S-Class Shelter’s criteria for discharge.

This was undoubtedly fantastic news. It proved that all of Lu Xiao’s work had not been in vain.

It ant there was hope that all S-Class Beastn could be cured.

Lu Xiao sent the data to Admiral Hans’s terminal and left a ssage:

"I believe he has t the criteria for discharge."

Admiral Hans, who was in the middle of organizing docunts, suddenly received a notification. He assud it was another eting notice, but when he opened it and saw it was from Lu Xiao, he froze.

He quickly tapped it open, and his eyes fell upon a monitoring report.

He scanned through it in one go. When he reached Lu Xiao’s ssage at the end, Hans shot up from his chair and burst out laughing with excitent. "Hahaha! This is wonderful! Wonderful! It’s absolutely wonderful!" ’With this successful case, plus the materials I’ve compiled, it’s more than enough,’ he thought. "This is just too good to be true!"

His adjutant, watching Admiral Hans who had been shrouded in gloom just monts before, was taken aback by his sudden, manic laughter. Puzzled and curious, he asked, "Admiral, has sothing good happened?"

"Good news? It’s fantastic news! The best news!" ’If this doesn’t count as good news, then nothing does!’

Hans composed himself and replied to Lu Xiao: "Healer Lu Xiao, please accept my sincerest gratitude. This is the first S-Class male to be discharged since the shelter’s founding. I believe this day will go down in the history books."

Lu Xiao read Admiral Hans’s ssage. She had expected him to be happy, but not so ecstatic that his joy was palpable even through text. She couldn’t help but smile as she typed her reply: "However, I must recomnd that even though Vilke has t the discharge criteria, we have too few precedents to draw from. He needs to be monitored for a two-week observation period. During this ti, he should continue to schedule regular treatnt sessions in my consultation room. Also, just like Dean, he should be granted his own private space and be allowed to pursue his personal interests."

After sending the ssage, Lu Xiao wasn’t worried that Admiral Hans would refuse. From her few interactions with him, she could already tell he was a leader who genuinely wanted to make a difference.

Sure enough, Hans wasn’t so swept up in his excitent that he lost his head. He replied to Lu Xiao’s ssage: "You’re right. We don’t know the specifics of Vilke’s long-term situation, so an observation period is necessary. I will follow your recomndations, please rest assured. Again, on behalf of all the S-Class males in the shelter, thank you!"

"I appreciate the thanks, but this is the result of our combined efforts ^_^"

After finishing his conversation with Lu Xiao, Admiral Hans imdiately ordered his adjutant to prepare a room for Vilke, just like Dean’s, for when he returned.

Vilke, anwhile, was still fast asleep, completely unaware that he had t the S-Class Shelter’s criteria for discharge.

His sleep this ti was noticeably longer than any session before.

Because of this, Lu Xiao had to take her next patient to the adjacent room to perform his Spiritual Soothing.

Five hours later, Vilke finally began to stir.

As he was waking up, the escorting officer standing guard beside him imdiately spoke to his colleague outside the door. "You can go report to Healer Lu. He’s awake."

Vilke heard this, his mind gradually clearing. "Did I sleep for a long ti?"

He wasn’t sure if it was his imagination, but his entire body felt incredibly light. The dull ache that constantly scread within his Spirit Sea seed to have vanished, replaced by an extraordinary sense of peace and clarity.

’I feel... like I’ve recovered.’

But that just felt too unrealistic.

Just as he was wrestling with this doubt, the escorting officer beside him spoke with a hint of envy, "You just slept for five hours."

And it was all deep sleep, too.

To put that in perspective, none of the officers had that kind of sleep quality. They could only get close to it with the help of dication.

Hearing that he had slept for five hours, Vilke froze for a mont before his eyes widened. "Is that for real?"

"Look at the sky outside. It’s already afternoon."

Vilke imdiately looked out the window. Sure enough, the angle of the sunlight had completely changed.

’Did I really sleep soundly for five whole hours? That long?’

Vilke’s heart began to pound violently. THUMP, THUMP. He had a faint feeling that sothing wonderful had just happened to him.

After receiving the ssage, Lu Xiao quickly followed the escorting officer back to the consultation room.

Seeing the astonished look on Vilke’s face, she smiled and asked, "What’s wrong? You seem quite surprised."

"He... he just said I slept for five hours. Is that true?"
