Michael glanced toward, and the mont he did, she suddenly vanished, reappearing in front of the people who had turned.
And to his surprise, she cut upward, yet her slash landed horizontally. It effectively cut off the head of the opponent, and right after, she simply skipped over to the next and did the sa.
Kael was rightfully worried, so he didn't jump into action.
As for Arthur? It was like he was itching for a fight. So, without even wasting a single mont, he dashed behind them and sent a wave of water out of his body that washed away each of the people present.
Of course, they were either killed by the pressure, or, if they weren't, then they were killed by Arthur's water ability.
Michael had realized that not only could he interact with water, but he could also do the sa with any liquid.
That also ant blood was not off limits.
Just as Michael had thought that, each of the people present burst into blood cocoons before exploding again and sending sharp blood spears everywhere.
Now, only Irelia and Michael were left, yet none seed wanting to move.
It was more so out of cautiousness. And Irelia shared the sa sentint.
"Nice weather, eh?" Michael whistled, earning a scoff from her in response.
"Where exactly do you see weather, you buffoon? There aren't even any windows," she stated. "On that note, why exactly did you rescue ?"
"Why not? I did offer my hand in marriage... or is it the other way around...?" Michael fell into thought. "Oh, yeah, I asked for your hand in marriage."
"And I declined," Irelia replied plainly. "I'm not interested in marrying so self-centered weakling. You, sadly, fall into the category."
"Sadly?" Michael's brow rose. "So if I were to not be weak, you'd consider ?"
"Why are you so persistent?" Irelia asked with a frown. "I don't have anything to offer, aside from my body. And even then, I'm not offering my body to you."
"I see... well, I'm not surprised. You don't even see the charming qualities in yourself," Rael said with a sigh. "Not only are you intelligent, you're also strong. At the sa ti, you seem fearless, when deep down, you're afraid."
Irelia narrowed her eyes. "What are you talking about?"
"Do you think you can hide those trembling hands of yours?" Michael asked, pointing at her left hand, which looked like it had a tremor ever since earlier.
Obviously, it didn't. However, the fact that she was so out of it, she didn't realize she hadn't coated her hand in mana, which in turn had made it slightly burn up.
The surroundings here were rather warm, and the only way soone like her wouldn't be able to notice the lack of protection from mana was if she was a coward.
Or just an extrely big klutz.
Either way, his best bet was on the fact that she was a coward.
I an... how couldn't she be? She's only fought opponents she was able to beat without even trying. And here she is, trapped after not even realizing what happened, Michael pondered.
"I'm just saying, Irelia... but I think it would be best if you go out and fight, clear your mind maybe. So challenges can't be predicted, and whoever captured us definitely knew sothing we didn't," Michael said plainly.
Irelia stared at him for a mont with her golden eyes before glancing at the incoming enemies.
So managed to slip through the cracks that Nyra had ford. After all, she was an assassin, not so immortal swordswoman.
Nonetheless, Irelia took a deep breath and stretched out her hand.
Imdiately, a golden ray of light shot out of her palm, and the mont it made contact with the people rushing toward them, they disintegrated.
It seed similar to what Michael had done, the only difference being the fact that it was much weaker.
She's imitating . Interesting... Michael raised a brow. "It's a nice imitation, but you're lacking the basics, which are the affinity I'm using."
"Isn't it light?" Irelia asked, yet as her gaze traveled toward his golden hair, she tilted her head.
"Or maybe not... your hair turned white. A combination of so affinities maybe?" Irelia comnted.
Michael frowned as he brought his hand up to his hair and cut off a strand before bringing it in front of his face.
And just as she had said, it was indeed white.
Fuuuckk... why did I turn into a rainbow? Michael grumbled. One day my hair is black, the next it's golden, then it's fucking combined, and now it's white? Co the fuck on.
Safe to say, he was just a little frustrated at this outco.
Nonetheless, since he had nothing better to do, and Kael could likely handle himself, he decided to finally step up.
And he did so by dashing toward the people nearby and using his Origin affinity to disintegrate them.
Yet he noticed there was a bit of an anomaly with his mana. It felt way too fluid.
But if he were to switch between all of the affinities, whether it be Darkness, Light, or Origin, he felt like there was a bit of lag between the switches.
It wasn't very noticeable; however, in a fight, it would be a large difference.
After all, his mana cutting off for less than a second was more than enough reason to lose a fight.
What if I combine it all... He pondered.
Theoretically, it was possible. However, he had no idea how to even go about it.
Light and Shadow were polar opposites.
As for Origin? He had no clue what it was, just the fact that it was incredibly strong.
Nonetheless, Michael tried a little sothing.
He condensed his Darkness affinity as much as he could and then tried to synchronize it with the Light affinity.
To no one's surprise, there was a giant resistance, and he felt like the more progress he made, the harder it beca.
Therefore, he tried the opposite, by infusing Light into Darkness.
Dud again.
Sending them out at the sa frequency?
Dud.
Starting off small?
A semi-success. However, the more he increased the volu of his mana, the less he could actually wield it.
It beca too unstable, and he felt his body corrupting itself.
That ant he had to gain enough proficiency with this in order to make it work.
But that was not all he wanted to do.
After all, he still had one more affinity left: Origin.
Michael focused yet again, his palms dripping with sweat as all the people around him began disintegrating at a noticeable pace.
They were enemies, so he didn't even bat an eye.
Nonetheless, he got back on track and realized that the more he channeled the Origin affinity, the greater the synchronization beca between his other affinities.
It was a great outco, but not exactly the one he was looking for.
If he were to combine them as is, then he would only utilize 2 out of his 3 affinities. And of course, Origin would be the one left out.
Yes, he could strengthen the other affinities a fair deal, but it would not co anywhere near the real thing.
Therefore, he tried to compromise, and instead of pouring his Origin affinity over his other affinities, he did the first thing that worked.
He started off small, and gradually, he upped the amount of mana he was emitting.
To his surprise, instead of each affinity canceling out the other, they were all slowly weaving through his bloodstream.
The more ti that passed, the more he felt like his strength was increasing. And after just a few minutes, he heard sothing crack.
It wasn't his skull, nor was it the skull of anyone.
Instead, it was the ground he stood on. It cracked under the weight of his mana, and even more so as he focused on the wall.
It was working, and very rapidly at that.
Therefore, Michael continued, not letting off for even a mont, until eventually, the affinities seed to operate at the sa frequency.
It basically utilized the other two attempts but just made it much, much better.
And as for the affinity that had co out after he combined everything?
Well... it was a bit overpowered.

What the fuck... Michael looked on in disbelief.
He had beco a Tier 18 just like that.
And his body hadn't even fully realized it.
However, all the people around him, whether they were his allies or the people he had been killing, froze.
Each and every single one of them had shocked looks on their faces.
And Irelia in particular, as she slowly approached, her mouth opened wide.
"H-How?"
