"No." Michael said, attempting to close his door.
However, before he could, Celeste stuck her food inside, nearly having it crushed.
"Idiot..." Michael let out a sigh. "I'm not going out right now, I'm busy."
"Busy with what? You already took a shower, so what else could you be doing?" Celeste asked, tilting her head. "Are you pent up or sothing?"
"For the love of god..." Michael facepald, before swinging his door open, revealing an entire kitchen station filled to the brim with food. "I'm cooking."
"Woahh!" Celeste's eyes widened as she stord inside his room. "Oh my... Is that chicken... And is that... the legendary rice of the ancient heroes?"
"What? It's just rice." Michael said with a raised brow, giving in to the situation.
It seed like he couldn't ward her away, and since he didn't particularly dislike her pressure, he didn't tell her to get out either.
Instead, he put so rice and chicken in a bowl, and handed it to her.
"For ?" Celeste asked skeptically. "I can't eat chicken."
Michael tilted his head. "Why not?"
[Angel of rcy doesn't kill. What do u need in order to eat chicken? You need to kill the chicken.] The chicken explained.
That is a stupid rule... Michael replied, taking a bite out of the chicken.
Food was food.
"The academy will start tomorrow, I'd say you try it while you can." Michael suggested, bringing the bowl closer. "I know you want to."
Celeste was practically drooling, and, with shaky, she reached for the bowl, and swiftly dug in, practically devouring the chicken in an instant.
The sa went for the rice.
Letting her eat in peace, Michael proceeded to cook more, before having so food himself.
Finally, the two were finished eating.
Now the only thing left to do, was decide where he wanted to go.
Clearly, he was broke, so getting money might be on the agenda.
But that was later, for now, he wanted to check out this city they were in.
They called themselves Heaven, and yet it's so dead.
Any darker, and it would be hell.
It did have so interesting structures, therefore, he stood up from the kitchen, and began walking out.
Yet as he did, he felt soone trailing him, and that soone was none other than Celeste.
"I'm going to the hotsprings." Michael announced, making her fall into thought for a mont.
"Local? They have mixed baths so it's fine." Celeste said flatly, and walked closer to him. "Co, I'll lead you."
"You know I have no intention of showering with you, right?" Michael asked, but followed nonetheless.
He'd tick off a few things off his bucket list, so of which, included bathing in heaven.
And definitely not a shower.
"Hm? Why not?" Celeste asked with a puzzled look. "Don't n like hot won?"
"They do, but I already have a woman on my mind." Michael shot back, making her let out a chuckle.
"It's almost like you weren't born today."
Her tone was rather firm, which didn't add up considering she was acting like a dense idiot earlier.
"Was it all an act?" Michael asked coldly.
"Nope, I just like it when people let their guards down." Celeste replied with a shrug. "No one believed you were born today, since the angels who are born, don't even have wings until they turn 10."
"Oh." Michael face pald. _You could've told about that._
[Who cares? You have the light affinity, you have a halo, and you have wings. Who cares if you were born today or yesterday.] The system stated. [If anything, they'd think you're a miracle sent by god if you perform well.]
I guess you have a point, even if it's shit. Michael nodded, and sped up his pace to walk beside Celeste. "So where are you leading now?"
"I told you already, the hotsprings. We can take a bath together." Celeste replied. "I might co off as bold, but I don't think you'd pull anything on even if I strip naked in front of you."
Michael shrugged. "Strip and we'll see."
"Nice try." Celeste giggled, and finally, they reached the hotsprings.
They were surprisingly close to the academy.
If anything, every single thing in this city seed close to the academy.
It was almost like the academy was the main attraction of this city.
This is heaven right? he couldn't help but ask.
[It's much bigger than you think, this city is like a grain of sand in comparison to heaven's true size.] The system stated proudly.
Seems like bullshit. Michael said, and checked in to the hotsprings.
Thankfully, he didn't have to pay, as the hotsprings seemingly operated from tips alone.
Nonetheless, he navigated to where he was supposed to go and took off his clothes, before putting on a towel.
After that, he walked toward the n's section, but upon seeing mixed, he grew curious.
There's no way she was serious right? Michael thought, a chuckle escaping his lips as he decided to test his luck.
And to his surprise, there was only a single person lying down in the mixed bath, that person being Celeste.
Her breasts were covered by the fog, which he could easily see through if he used mana.
But instead of doing that, he calmly walked over and sat down inside the water, earning a giggle from Celeste in turn.
"You see, I have an ability to tell how old you are. And for soone who claims to be what 16? 18? You're pretty old."
"What?" Michael furrowed his brows.
He knew his genetics were boosted from the amount of training he had done, and of course, the system's assistance.
But could it be that much?
"How old do you think I am?" he asked.
"25. Just like ." She said with a giggle, before standing up, and walking over to him.
Michael was a bit startled at her assertiveness and of course, by the size of her breasts.
Easy D cups.
"Do you not think of as a woman?" Celeste asked, leaning down beside him, the tip of her breasts lightly touching the water. "Or is it that you choose not to?"
"I guess I just have so self restraint." Michael said with a shrug, crossing his legs to hide the boner. "Though why are you so interested in ?"
"I wonder? I guess I just see myself in you?" She said, before sitting down beside him. "I chased love once, and the only path it led to, was despair."
"What do you an?" Michael asked with a tilt of his head.
"I liked a guy once, and I thought he liked back. However, even after several years passed, it seed like he cared more about his goals than ." She let out a solemn chuckle. "Frankly, I don't think we even talked once."
"Is that so..." Michael muttered as she leaned her head on his shoulders.
"I want soone who can see for what I am, and I feel like out of all the idiots in Heaven, you might be the only one I could make fall for ." Celeste said, as she suddenly leaned in, planting a kiss on his cheek. "...Is it working?"
"It would work on anyone else." Michael shrugged, his heart beating oddly fast. "But I'm a bit harder to seduce than that, Celeste."
"But you're saying there is a chance?" She asked, hopeful.
"As charming as you are, I believe we could work sothing out." He said with a smile. "But that's still to be decided in the future, Celeste. I don't rush things."
[Why are you leading her on? Just tell her no... Unless you really are considering opening your heart to one more?] The system asked skeptically.
I'm not sure. I haven't given it much thought. But there are girls who I'm interested in, and I'm not sure if it's simple interest, or romantic interest. Michael replied. If anything, I want Celeste to show what this feeling is.
[I see... I don't bla you. I did have a few won myself. I just struggled to get attached to them is all.] The system said, making Michael chuckle.
I know. I'm you after all.
He didn't say that to the system, but it was the truth.
Michael rembered all his tis, and frankly, there was no Astraea.
She was just there, in the background on so desolate planet not doing anything at all.
Yet she was still stuck inside his mind for so reason.
And whether it was love or not, Michael wasn't sure.
Nonetheless, he stood up, covering his boner with a towel as he stepped out of the bath.
"Leaving already?" Celeste asked seductively as brought her arms under her breasts, practically flaunting them.
"Yep, bathroom." Michael said with a smile, not going into further details.
As much as he wanted to say he was experienced, seeing sothing like that turned him on.
Therefore, he had sothing to take care of first.
