After a couple of minutes, he could finally see the outline of green, spanning just as far as the snow before.

However, unlike before, there was a small town located in the far-off distance, and a lot of dots, signifying people.

'A lot of... yellow dots.' Michael scoffed inwardly. That did not an the people were technically evil, but they had indeed killed soone before, intentionally.

That thought suddenly made him think, 'Hey, what colored dot am I right now?'

You are not evil, but neither are you exactly a righteous being. What do you think?

'...Yellow?' He asked with a raised brow.

Maybe... Anyways, head over there already, say hello to the people you will be spending ti with from now on.

Michael rolled his eyes at the system's comnt but nonetheless proceeded to float down a bit of a distance away, before walking straight into the town.

It was pretty open, with no gates or anything of the sort. The architecture wasn't anything profound either—a lot of broken-down buildings were all around.

The people did not seem that phased, however; most were still going about their days with smiles on their faces.

They were all wearing the traditional murim clothing he had read about—Daoist robes. They each had different colors, providing a bit of variety.

However, it seed like the people who appeared to be warriors had slightly deeper shades of the sa colors, with swords strapped to their waists.

'Early Tier 2.' Michael assessed, taking a glance at another individual, one who had an even deeper shade of colored Daoist robes.

'Middle of Tier 3... well shit.' He put on a small smile.

He had not expected to see such strong individuals from the get-go, yet here they were, strolling the streets as though they were just like the rest of the people here.

Michael looked behind him, at a certain inn, and could see a Tier 2 getting blackout drunk, even drooling on the floor as the weaker people began dragging him away and throwing him into a nearby alleyway filled to the brim with trash.

He could only chuckle at that sight as he himself was unsure of what to do yet. There were several ideas swirling in his mind, so of which seed more logical than the others.

'I got a few options... But I think the main one would be to find out a bit more about this world first. To do that... I need money.'

As he thought that, he noticed a carriage rushing through the streets, seemingly ignoring the fact that it was an already busy road filled with people.

It approached closer and closer until out of nowhere, a kid who was running by tripped and fell right in the very middle of the road, becoming prone to being run over.

Michael narrowed his eyes for a mont before using mana to fling the kid backward out of the way.

He didn't even take a look around to make sure it succeeded, as he could hear the carriage zipping past him and no one screaming, aning it had worked out.

However, a sudden barrage of pressure began pricking the back of his head. It wasn't anything much, more like sothing of similar strength to him.

But the problem was the fact that there was more than one person doing it.

As Michael spun around, eting the gazes of those behind the pressure, his eyes widened.

The civilians were walking around as per usual, however, the warriors—those with swords—were all staring directly at him.

Even the Tier 2, who had been thrown into the alleyway, was now staring directly at him as though they had seen a ghost.

Now that he paid closer attention to the pressure he was feeling, it was, in fact, not malice, but more like envy.

Envy by most of the warriors present.

But he could not understand what was happening or what even caused such a reaction to occur. All he did was move the kid out of the way; that's about it.

"Elder!" A warrior suddenly dashed in front of him and bowed; it was soone of similar strength to him.

As the words dropped, every single individual who had been staring at him re monts ago dashed ahead and bowed down all around him before shouting in unison,

"We greet the Elder!"

'What are they even talking about?' Michael thought while looking around, flashing his casual, saintly smile he had perfected after all this ti.

It's the way you used mana. Most of these people present have a Dantian Core. Only a select handful of powerful individuals manage to manipulate the energy of the world outside their bodies.

'Oh... That makes sense.' He nodded inwardly before turning to one of the people present, the first one who appeared before him, before asking,

"What's your na?"

The man froze for a mont before eting his gaze and once again bowing down and shouting in a slightly obnoxious tone,

"Hu Rong greets the esteed Elder!"

'Hu Rong...? How am I even supposed to pronounce that?' Michael raised a brow but nonetheless waved his hand, sending a small gust of mana to lift up all the people present, all besides Hu Rong.

"You may go, I will speak with him personally," he added.

The warriors exchanged strange looks before nodding in understanding, and with a few curt bows, they walked their separate ways, the one who was thrown in the alleyway earlier walked back to the inn instead.

"Hu Rong, stand up please." Michael said, and imdiately, the man shot up from the ground like a bolt.

"Yes, Elder!"

"...Stop calling Elder. My na is Michael."

"Yes, Elder Mujin!"

'...' Michael let out an exhausted sigh. It felt as though he was dealing with so sort of fanatic.

Congratulations, you are now Elder Mujin. Be honored.

'Shut up...'

Michael maintained his open-minded outer appearance as he spoke, "Hu Rong, how does one make money in this wor—err, land?"

"Elder Mujin...?" Hu Rong tilted his head in confusion, but upon noticing the resolute look on Michael's face, he continued, "We take on ard escort jobs. So even join sects for the benefits."

"Okay, how do I beco an ard escort then?"

"You must register in the escort guild... Elder?"

Michael was steadily processing the information, ignoring the look of confusion on Hu Rong's face.

After a few monts of thought, he finally decided. Shooting a glance at Hu Rong, he stated in the most welcoming tone he could muster, "How would you like to beco my disciple?"

As his words landed, Hu Rong's confused expression disappeared, replaced by widened eyes as he bowed once again, his head smacking against the floor.

"It would be my honor, Elder Mujin... No! Master Mujin!" He expressed while continuing to bow deeply.

'That was pretty simple. I guess I have a guide now.' Michael snickered inwardly and stretched out his mana before enveloping Hu Rong and lifting him up off the floor.

He rotated him a few tis in the air until finally dropping him back down onto his feet, his expression one of bliss.

"Disciple Hu Rong, how about you show your master where the escort guild is?" Michael asked nicely, and imdiately, Hu Rong took a deep breath before beginning to lead the way.

"Follow , Master Mujin!"

This is an interesting developnt...

'I know, right?'
