Chapter 49: The 49th – Did we wrongly bla this young man?_1
The crowd gathered outside, upon hearing Mr. Rui’s inquiry, shook their heads to indicate that they had not captured anything.
At this mont, Jiang Zi suddenly stepped forward, “I captured it.”
When Mr. Rui saw her, a look of amazent flashed in his eyes, and he turned to look at Tang Feng, “Your girl, huh?”
“Mhm!”
Tang Feng nodded directly in acknowledgnt.
He was not very familiar with Mr. Rui and did not yet understand his temperant.
He feared that this rich second generation heir might take an interest in Jiang Zi, so he simply admitted it outright.
But Jiang Zi did not understand his reasoning, her pretty face imdiately flushed with embarrassnt, and her heart fluttered chaotically.
“Not bad, you’ve got so ga,” Mr. Rui said, patting Tang Feng on the shoulder in a familiar manner before his gaze cleared considerably when he looked at Jiang Zi again.
Taking the phone from her hands, he opened the video she had just recorded.
The video started with the female clerk charging out from behind the counter, and naturally, it included the scene where she tussled with Tang Feng.
The female clerk’s face turned deathly white, feeling her legs go weak, almost unable to stand.
However, after watching the video, Mr. Rui frowned.
Because the angle at which Jiang Zi had recorded was from behind Tang Feng,
Only capturing the female clerk rushing over to snatch the phone, and then falling to the ground during the scuffle.
It wasn’t clear whether she fell on her own, or if Ye Feng had pushed her.
“The video isn’t clear either, this is going to be a bit difficult,” Mr. Rui said, suddenly feeling troubled.
The female clerk, hearing these words, felt a montary surge of joy—so long as it wasn’t captured, all was well.
Just then, a middle-aged woman entered the store quickly, “Mr. Rui, hello, I am the manager of this store. I had just finished work. Hearing that sothing happened here, I rushed back. What actually happened?”
“Ask her,” Mr. Rui pointed to the female clerk.
With Mr. Rui present, the female clerk could not change her story, so she had to repeat the sa argunt she had made earlier.
The female manager glanced at Tang Feng, then turned to Mr. Rui, “Since this gentleman is a friend of Mr. Rui, this must just be a small misunderstanding. I think we should just let it go.”
“How can we let it go without getting things clear?” Mr. Rui imdiately refused and swept his eyes around, suddenly pointing at a surveillance cara in the corner, “Call the security room and have them bring up the store’s surveillance video. I must get to the bottom of this today.”
Upon hearing this, the female clerk could no longer hold out and hastily said, “Mr. Rui, I think… let’s just let it go, I forgive him.”
Mr. Rui imdiately showed a cold smile, “Even if you want to forgive, you have to wait until I clear things up. If he is at fault, I will make him apologize to you.”
Without further ado, he had his subordinate call the security room.
The security team at Qianda Departnt Store was highly efficient and in just a few minutes, they brought the surveillance video from the store.
The store had a TV specifically for playing advertisents, so the security personnel plugged in the USB drive and directly clicked play.
The screen quickly showed the footage of Tang Feng and Jiang Zi entering the store.
Then, it showed Tang Feng choosing clothes and asking for the price, with the female clerk responding in a perfunctory manner.
Even through the screen, everyone could sense the scorn in her words.
“Sorry, that one is out of stock, we don’t have your size…”
“Do you know better or do I? That garnt is one size too small, you’d need at least an XXL…”
“Sorry, that’s out of stock too…”
By this point, the female manager already knew what was going on.
She clearly rembered that the garnts Tang Feng had taken an interest in were not out of stock.
It was obvious that the female clerk looked down on them, thinking they couldn’t afford the items and didn’t want to waste ti on them, deliberately giving them the runaround.
She imdiately gave the female clerk a cold glare.
The female clerk could no longer withstand the pressure and collapsed onto the ground, her eyes devoid of spirit.
She knew she was finished!
The footage on the screen continued.
Tang Feng pointed up at the ceiling, “What about that one then?”

But the female clerk responded with another “That’s out of stock too.”

As the crowd discussed the situation, the video continued playing, and the footage that followed was even more infuriating.
Tang Feng had clearly been provoked and went over to slap the counter, questioning the female clerk.

This person had co to shop and was treated like this?
Even if the guy had struck her afterward, she would’ve brought it on herself.
But the subsequent surveillance footage showed that Tang Feng did not hit her.
Instead, she tried to snatch his phone, failed, and then sat on the ground pretending to be wronged.
Finally, the truth was out, and those who had spoken up for the female clerk felt a sense of manipulation and anger.
“Are there really won like this? Shaless!”
