Xi Ning kept thinking about what to do about the final mission, and answered absentmindedly. Louis thought that he was still angry.
After he turned off the light, he lay back on the bed and hugged Xi Ning lightly. Seeing that he didn't resist, he rubbed the tip of his nose and said softly, “It’s not that I didn't want to hear you sing, and purposely didn’t give you cake. That ti I was drunk. I just wanted you to kiss again.”
Xi Ning also slowly rembered that because he didn't like Louis after he drank wine, not only did he not kiss him, but he also pushed him off the chair in front of his subordinates. Their relationship was not as close as it is now, but Louis didn't get angry at all.
He felt guilty for a second and took the initiative to get closer and kiss Louis' lips without any other thought. Just a simple kiss.
The moonlight shone a little from the window, and Louis rubbed Xi Ning's silver hair. “Aren't you angry anymore?”
“I wasn't angry in the first place……” Xi Ning whispered and sighed, “When will you be able to regain your mory……”
Louis couldn't hear the last words and asked, “What?”
Xi Ning's voice was vague. “Nothing……”
He rubbed into Louis's neck and lightly licked and bit his Adam's apple. It didn't take long for Louis to forget what he just heard.
After Morrison left, he didn't show up again for several days, and soon soone ca over on the president's order to let Xi Ning live in another place.
Xi Ning did not refuse. He packed up his things and followed the servants to the new palace. It was much larger than where he used to live, and there was a small swimming pool in the backyard.
More importantly, it was very close to the palace where Morrison lived. The president must have arranged for the two of them to get closer.
However, Xi Ning had already finished the mission to intensify the conflict between Morrison and Fei Shi, so there was no need to have any more contact with him.
But, he liked the swimming pool in his new residence very much. Although it was not as comfortable as the sea water, it was better than nothing.
Xi Ning asked his servant to thank the president, and he couldn't wait to go into the water.
Louis helped him change his clothes and went to the backyard with Xi Ning, who had turned back to rmaid. Several servants who were cleaning were almost stunned when they saw Xi Ning in his rmaid form.
Although Xi Ning's face remained the sa, it was the first ti in their lives that they saw a rmaid. The scales were dazzling in the sunlight. They looked silver, but if you looked closely, they glowed with azure blue light the sa color as Xi Ning's pupils.
Louis hugged Xi Ning even tighter, regretting that he didn't take out a blanket to cover him first. His expression sank and said sternly, “What are you all looking at? Mind your own business!”
The servants imdiately returned to their senses, lowered their heads and didn't dare to look anymore, focusing on only sweeping the ground.
Xi Ning went into the water, dived into the depths and swam for a few laps. When he ca out, Louis had dismissed everyone in the yard, leaving him the only one guarding Xi Ning.
After returning to the Federation, the weather was a little hotter than in interstellar space. Plus, the weather was good today. Xi Ning looked up at the sun overhead, and pulled Louis who was sitting by the pool. “Would you like to co down too?”
Louis bent down and pinched the tip of his nose. “I'm not a real sea clan. If anyone sees , it will cause suspicion.”
He didn’t have a fish tail like Xi Ning, so it was better to be cautious.
Xi Ning held Louis's hand and leaned on it for a while. Louis glanced at the sun which was getting hotter and touched Xi Ning's face. “I'll go get an umbrella. Do you want to eat so more fruit?”
Seeing Xi Ning nodding, Louis got up and went into the residence.
Morrison heard that Xi Ning had changed to a new residence, so he wanted to co over to have a look. It had been several days since his last visit, so he guessed that Xi Ning should have forgiven his rude attitude last ti.
After he went there, the servant took him to the backyard. He then saw Xi Ning who was in the swimming pool and Louis next to him from a distance. He waved and let the servant leave first, and watched quietly for a while.
Morrison felt that the sea clansman next to Xi Ning was very unusual, and his temperant and appearance did not look like an ordinary servant. Especially when he was drunk that night and ca to find Xi Ning, Louis didn't give him a kind look.
His relationship with Xi Ning also seed to be very good; since he was the only sea clansman around Xi Ning, it was normal for Xi Ning to get close to him.
Morrison wanted to approach and say hello to Xi Ning, but Louis was by Xi Ning's side, which made him want to leave.
He wanted to go back first and co back another day, but at this ti Louis happened to go back into the residence.
Morrison then ca out of the corridor and approached the swimming pool. “His Royal Highness, good afternoon.”
When soone unfamiliar ca, Xi Ning subconsciously dived into the water. But after recognizing that it was Morrison, he raised his head and smiled at him, as if in greeting.
Xi Ning didn't say anything. Morrison thought he was still concerned about what happened last ti. He touched his nose and showed an embarrassed look. “I heard that His Royal Highness moved here, so I wanted to co and have a look, and…… I apologize for what happened last ti.”
He had already sent soone to send apology gifts to Xi Ning after his last visit, but Xi Ning didn't care about it in the first place and nodded silently.
