Bai Xiangqian drove Lin Xiao back to the bar. As they parted ways, Bai Xiangqian said respectfully, "Mr. Lin, if you need anything, just call directly!"

"Sure!" Lin Xiao replied with a smile.

Just as he got out of the car, he was shocked by the scene before him. The entrance to the massive bar looked like a car show, completely gridlocked by dozens of luxury vehicles. The parking lot was already packed solid.

Lin Xiao’s brow furrowed slightly. Could it be because Liu San’s bar had an incident? Is that why all these people ca to Su Qingning’s bar?

Just then, Lin Xiao saw Pei Donglai waving at him. Pei Donglai quickly made his way over.

"What’s going on?" Lin Xiao asked.

Pei Donglai replied respectfully, "Captain, a celebrity is here."

"A celebrity?"

Pei Donglai nodded. "I don’t really know the details, but from what I hear, he’s a star."

"So, all these people are his fans?"

"Yes," Pei Donglai affird.

Lin Xiao chuckled. "I really don’t get it. Is a celebrity really worth all this frenzy?"

"I don’t get it either, Captain."

"Alright, you can get back to what you were doing."

Seeing that Lin Xiao was about to leave, Pei Donglai quickly asked, "Captain, is the matter with Liu San settled?"

"Yeah, it’s all taken care of."

"Captain, if you ever need for anything, just say the word!" Pei Donglai said in a serious tone.

Lin Xiao understood his aning and smiled. "No problem!"

With that, Lin Xiao turned to enter the bar, but his phone suddenly buzzed with a new ssage from an unknown number.

"I’ll be at your place soon. I hope you won’t be disappointed when you see ."

Lin Xiao glanced at it, figuring it had been sent to the wrong number, and stepped inside the bar. He planned to find Su Qingning and tell her about Liu San’s bar. After all, it would be a nice little surprise for her. Indeed, Lin Xiao intended to use this news to placate her.

Just as he entered, he ran into Uncle Zhong.

Lin Xiao’s impression of the old man was neutral. Although he was sowhat dissatisfied with his behavior during the Huang Xiaolong incident, the fact that the old man had stood by Su Qingning during her toughest tis proved he was a man of sentint and loyalty. For that reason alone, Lin Xiao decided not to hold the past against him.

Uncle Zhong also saw Lin Xiao, but his impression of him was not nearly as charitable. Even though Lin Xiao had successfully recomnded Pei Donglai to Su Qingning, Uncle Zhong believed it was all due to Pei Donglai’s own abilities and had nothing to do with Lin Xiao being impressive. As soone who had practically watched Su Qingning grow up, he felt she deserved a man who excelled in every respect. After all, Su Qingning herself was outstanding, and Lin Xiao was clearly not good enough for her.

"Old man, where’s Qing Ning?" Lin Xiao asked with a smile.

Uncle Zhong replied irritably, "The young miss is naturally attending to our distinguished guest, unlike so people who only know how to idle about!"

Huh? Idling about? You probably don’t know that I just earned Su Qingning a whole bar with a single outing. But Lin Xiao couldn’t be bothered to explain this to him.

"Old man, is Qing Ning attending to that so-called celebrity?" Lin Xiao asked with another smile.

"What else?" Uncle Zhong grumped.

"Which private room?"

"The Supre Room. But let give you a friendly warning: don’t go making trouble."

Lin Xiao just smiled. "You’re quite fiery, old man. How about I find you a date?"

Uncle Zhong imdiately shot him a furious glare.

"Don’t be shy, old man. You’re a normal man with needs. I get it!"

Uncle Zhong was completely speechless. He turned and walked away, wanting nothing more to do with Lin Xiao.

Smiling, Lin Xiao headed upstairs. Just as he reached the door of the Supre Room, he heard a displeased voice from within.

"Su Qingning, you’ve got so nerve. I, Liu Fengchun, was your classmate, and now I’m a red-hot celebrity. Do you know how many people would kill for to make an appearance at their bar? And you won’t even do the courtesy of having a al with ?"

Hearing this, Lin Xiao was slightly taken aback. He hadn’t expected this so-called big shot to be Su Qingning’s forr classmate.

"Liu Fengchun, I’m very grateful that you ca to support the bar, but as for dinner, I just can’t get away!" Su Qingning said, her voice tinged with guilt.

"If you can’t do dinner, then how about a drink?"

"Liu Fengchun, I’m so sorry, but I really can’t drink alcohol!" Su Qingning’s voice was filled with deep apology.

The other party was clearly not pleased, letting out a cold snort. "Su Qingning, you own a bar, but you can’t drink? Do you think I’m a three-year-old? If you don’t want to drink, just say so. Why use such a la excuse?"

"Liu Fengchun, I’m sorry, I really can’t drink," Su Qingning explained again.

"I don’t care. If you don’t drink this glass today, don’t bla , your old classmate, for turning on you. Besides, a huge crowd of my fans is outside. If I show even the slightest hint of dissatisfaction, what do you think they’ll do to this shabby little bar of yours?"

It was a blatant threat.

By this point, Lin Xiao was thoroughly pissed off. He hated people who bullied others with their influence, thinking a little power gave them the right to do whatever they wanted. He’d love for those fans to see this scumbag’s true face.

Lin Xiao was about to push the door open when he heard Su Qingning’s panicked voice. "Liu Fengchun, we don’t have any grudge against each other, do we? Do you really have to be so ruthless?"

Her words made Lin Xiao’s heart ache. Although he couldn’t see her expression, he knew she must feel incredibly wronged.

Liu Fengchun let out a sinister laugh. "What, are you scared? If you’re scared, then be a good girl and co out for a al with . Otherwise, I’ll open this window right now and shout. Then we’ll see how my fans tear this dump apart."

Lin Xiao couldn’t listen anymore. He shoved the door open and strode in.

Inside the private room, a man with delicate, effeminate features was sitting arrogantly on the sofa. Never mind his natural looks, his makeup made him look like a ghost. This is the so-called big celebrity? Not quite a man, not quite a woman. How could anyone like this kind of trash?

Su Qingning stood ekly before him, her beautiful eyes red and brimming with indignation.

Seeing this, Lin Xiao’s rage instantly flared. For fuck’s sake! A piece of trash like this dared to lord it over Su Qingning. Who gave him the balls? He wouldn’t even need to use his own connections. A simple call to Bai Xiangqian would be more than enough to make this punk suffer.

When Liu Fengchun saw Lin Xiao, he imdiately roared, "Where did this stinking beggar co from? Who the fuck let you in? Get the hell out!"

Before Su Qingning could say a word, Lin Xiao let out a disdainful sneer.

"Liu Fengchun, is it? You were going to smash the bar, right? Go on, get to it. If you don’t smash it today, I’ll beat you until you’re eating shit!"
