As he neared Jinling University, Lin Xiao called Pei Yanzi. He planned to take her to the entertainnt company.
Pei Yanzi answered almost instantly.
"Brother Lin, why are you calling ?" Her voice ca through the phone, tinged with pleasant surprise.
Lin Xiao smiled and asked, "Are you busy?"
"I just got out of class, so I’m free!"
"If you’re not busy, I’ll take you sowhere."
"Where are we going?" Pei Yanzi asked curiously.
Lin Xiao chuckled. "You’ll know when we get there."
"Then... where should I et you?"
"I’m almost at your university."
"I’ll head out now then!" Pei Yanzi said cheerfully.
"Alright, co on out."
They hung up. Lin Xiao then made another call, this ti to Su Qingning.
"Honey, what are you up to?"
"Swimming with Jing Zhe and i’er," Su Qingning replied.
Swimming? Lin Xiao’s eyes lit up, and he was suddenly hit with a pang of regret for coming to get Pei Yanzi. If I hadn’t co for her and just went straight ho... wouldn’t I have been able to see Su Qingning in a swimsuit?
"Honey, can you send a picture?" he asked with a sly grin.

Su Qingning chuckled, amused. She was opening up more and more, her once-icy personality lting away to reveal a playful side.

"When will you be back?" she asked.

Lin Xiao had just pulled up to the university entrance when a girl in a white dress stepped out of the gate—it was Pei Yanzi. One had to admit, she was truly striking. Pei Yanzi thoughtfully climbed into the back seat.
"Brother Lin, where are you taking ?" she asked curiously.

Soon, they arrived at Myth Corporation.
"Brother Lin, why did you bring here?" Pei Yanzi asked, her curiosity piqued.
Lin Xiao smiled. "You’ll know in a minute."
Just as the two of them got out of the car, a dignified, elegantly dressed middle-aged woman hurried over to greet them.
"You must be Lin Xiao, Mr. Lin?" she asked respectfully.
