Su Qingkun smiled. He watched Su Qingning’s groveling expression, finding it imnsely satisfying.
"Su Qingning, I never thought I’d see you like this," he said. "Let be honest, even if you get on your knees, my sister will never let you off."
Su Qingning’s face instantly turned deathly pale.
Lin Xiao truly couldn’t stand it any longer. The murderous intent in his eyes was becoming impossible to suppress. I ought to just kill this piece of trash with a single palm strike.
But just then, Shao i’er spoke in a cold voice, "Su Qingkun, who the hell do you think you are? Get lost!"
Only then did Su Qingkun notice Shao i’er standing to the side. His greedy eyes road over her body, finally lingering on her ample chest.
"Well, well, Shao i’er. You’re here too. Perfect timing. I was just thinking I’d co looking for you after my sister’s wedding," Su Qingkun said smugly.
Shao i’er sneered, "Looking for ? To do what? Die?"
"Die? What are you talking about, i’er? To marry you, of course!" Su Qingkun said with a lecherous expression.
Shao i’er burst out laughing as if she had just heard the world’s greatest joke, her body shaking with mirth. But as her laughter died down, her alluring face suddenly turned as cold as ice, her gaze becoming terrifyingly sharp.
Lin Xiao smiled. I’ve known this girl for so long, but I’ve never seen this side of her. Then again, it makes sense. A child raised by a major family is no pushover, especially one from a powerhouse like the Shao Family.
"You maggot-like creature, you dare act tough in front of ?" Shao i’er scoffed. "Marriage? Who the hell do you think you are? Where do you get the audacity to say sothing like that!"
Su Qingkun’s face turned pale from the humiliation. When he saw people in the crowd pointing and whispering about him, he erupted in fury.
"Damn it, Shao i’er! Your Shao Family may be powerful, but my sister is marrying into a prestigious family from Shengjing! Compared to a prestigious family from Shengjing, what is your Su Family? If it weren’t for your slutty looks, you think I’d actually want to marry you?"
Shao i’er smiled, her foxy features suddenly radiating a soul-snatching charm.
"Su Qingkun, I’m not just a pretty face; I’m even more wanton deep down. But what the hell does that have to do with you? Let be clear: the one I like is Lin Xiao. So what if your sister is marrying into a prestigious family from Shengjing? You think the Shao Family is afraid of so so-called prestigious family from Shengjing?"
The humiliation made Su Qingkun stumble back.
Su Qingning’s expression darkened further. Shao i’er’s declaration that she liked Lin Xiao was a knife twisting in her heart. Although she had known before, Shao i’er had never said it so openly in front of so many people.
Su Qingning’s mother was also surprised. She never expected the esteed young miss of the Shao Family to have feelings for Lin Xiao.
At that mont, Su Qingfeng, holding up the skirt of her wedding dress, walked up to them. She looked at Shao i’er with utter contempt.

This taunt made Su Qingfeng’s face turn white. Shao i’er’s words had struck a nerve, stabbing her heart like a frenzied blade.

"Apologize? Who do you think you are to demand an apology from ? Oh, right. You’re supposedly marrying into a prestigious Shengjing family today, aren’t you? Why don’t you show us all which prestigious family your husband belongs to!" Shao i’er said with disdain.
Su Qingfeng was so angry she could have spat blood. This was a particularly sore spot for her. After all, it was getting late, and her husband still hadn’t arrived. She had already overheard people in the crowd whispering about it.
Seeing that she couldn’t gain the upper hand against Shao i’er, Su Qingfeng suddenly spotted Su Qingning standing nearby. Her spirits instantly lifted.
"Su Qingning, you bitch, kneel!" Su Qingfeng shrieked.
Lin Xiao cursed without a mont’s hesitation, "Kneel? My ass! Get lost!"
I was planning to ignore these two clowns since the mystery would be solved soon enough. I can’t believe this trashy woman is actively looking for a tongue-lashing.
"You filthy beggar, what the hell did you say? Guards! Co and kill this stinking beggar for !" Su Qingfeng shrieked at the security guards by the door.
But no one paid her any mind. This was, after all, the Shao Family’s Chunyu Pavilion. What right did Su Qingfeng have to give orders here?
When she saw the guards standing motionlessly at the entrance to the banquet hall, Su Qingfeng beca enraged and lunged at Su Qingning.

Su Daonong, who had been busy bragging to the heads of several prominent families, finally saw the commotion. His face livid, he rushed over. He first helped his daughter to her feet, then stord over to Su Qingning, his face contorted with rage. He raised his hand to slap her.
But Lin Xiao would never let that happen. The instant Su Daonong raised his hand, Lin Xiao’s fingers closed around his wrist like a vise.
A wave of agonizing pain shot through him. Su Daonong glared at Lin Xiao, seething. He struggled violently, but it was useless, which only made him more furious.
"You stinking beggar, let go!"
"Fine."
With a sickening crunch, Lin Xiao released the worthless man.
Su Daonong let out a wretched scream. His wrist bone was broken. No, not just broken—it was shattered. Completely crushed by Lin Xiao’s grip.
The pain was so intense that Su Daonong nearly collapsed, but he sohow managed to stay on his feet. His eyes were bloodshot as he stared at Lin Xiao like a cornered beast.
The grand wedding banquet had completely devolved into a chaotic ss. The guests watched the drama unfold as if it were a spectacular show, and a few of the more loose-lipped among them couldn’t resist gossiping.
"Didn’t Su Daonong’s daughter marry into a prestigious family from Shengjing? How co the groom isn’t here yet?"
"That’s right, where’s the groom? You don’t think he’s having second thoughts, do you?"
"Wouldn’t surprise . After all, Su Qingfeng has been married before. A prestigious family from Shengjing can have any woman they want."

Su Daonong was already apoplectic over what Lin Xiao had done. Now, hearing the buzz of gossip around him, he was so furious he nearly passed out.
But just then, a sharp voice cut through the hall. "The groom has arrived!"
The announcent landed like a bomb. The entire banquet hall fell deathly silent, and those who had been gossiping about the Su family quickly shut their mouths.
A smile spread across Su Daonong’s face. Su Qingkun smiled. Su Qingfeng smiled.
Su Daonong quickly helped his daughter toward the stage. Before turning to ascend, Su Qingfeng shot a vicious, triumphant sneer at Su Qingning, her expression like that of a venomous snake.
"Su Qingning, your doom has arrived!"
