"We’re getting divorced tomorrow. Can I just hold you while we sleep tonight? Don’t worry, I won’t do anything. I just want to hold you one last ti!" Lin Xiao said, suppressing the urge to laugh.
But in all honesty, he really did want to hug this poor girl.
Lin Xiao had no intention of doing anything more. Of course, that wasn’t to say he didn’t *want* to. It was Su Qingning who didn’t want to, so Lin Xiao could only restrain his impulses.

Lin Xiao got up, left her room, and headed downstairs. He was on his way to detoxify Shen Jingzhe.
Shen Jingzhe was waiting for him in her room, which was still pitch-dark.
Just as Lin Xiao was about to enter, he noticed a small stool at his feet and stepped over it.
"Shen Jingzhe, why’d you put a stool here?"
The mont he spoke, Shen Jingzhe’s icy voice cut through the darkness.
"So you really can see."
Lin Xiao’s mind went completely blank. So, she put a stool by the door just to test ?
He suddenly rembered how Shen Jingzhe had asked him that morning how he could see. At the ti, he had bluffed and said he had heard it. He never thought his lie would be exposed so quickly.
Lin Xiao gave an awkward laugh. "I just saw it when I opened the door, with the light from outside."
"Bullshit. What light outside?"
Since things had co to this, there was no point in hiding it anymore. Lin Xiao decided to co clean. "Fine, I admit it. I can see in the dark."
"Bastard!" Shen Jingzhe cursed from the darkness.
"Hey, Shen Jingzhe, it’s not like I was looking on purpose! What are you cursing for?"
"Hmph, bastard, and you have the nerve to say that? Being able to see is your own skill, but why didn’t you tell you could?"
"I didn’t dare," Lin Xiao said, his voice full of grievance.
Shen Jingzhe asked coldly, "You didn’t dare? Is there anything you’re afraid to do?"
"Of course! I’m actually a very timid person. I wouldn’t even dare to step on an ant!"
Shen Jingzhe was left speechless. This scoundrel was truly shaless; he’d dare to say anything.
Lin Xiao chuckled. "Alright, don’t be angry. Let’s start the treatnt."

Putting on an air of disappointnt, Lin Xiao said, "Cut the nonsense. The treatnt over the last two days has been very effective. A portion of the poison in your body is already gone. If you keep this up, you’ll be completely cured soon. If you stop now, all our previous efforts will be for nothing."
Shen Jingzhe was swayed by his words. Of course she wanted to be cured as soon as possible, but the thought of this bastard having seen her entire body made her angry enough to kill.
Seeing her silence, Lin Xiao knew she was considering his words. Now, she just needed a way to back down gracefully.
Thinking of this, his tone softened considerably. "I don’t know why you were poisoned, but I’m sure you have an extraordinary past. Shen Jingzhe, let cure you. If you’re really that worried, I can blindfold myself."
Much of Shen Jingzhe’s anger subsided. Lin Xiao was right; she did have an extraordinary past. She still didn’t know who her enemies were, and she had yet to get her revenge. If she allowed the virulent poison in her body to spread unchecked, forgetting revenge, it was questionable whether she would even survive.
"Then blindfold yourself," Shen Jingzhe said coldly.
"Okay. But do you have sothing I can use as a blindfold?"
Without wasting words, Shen Jingzhe threw a piece of cloth at Lin Xiao. He caught it and was imdiately dumbfounded.
"Shen Jingzhe, why did you give a pair of pantyhose?"
That’s right. What Shen Jingzhe had thrown him was a pair of pantyhose, the very sa pair she had worn that day.
"I’ll buy a proper blindfold tomorrow. For now, you’ll have to make do," she said indifferently.
Lin Xiao was at a loss for words. He was about to tie the pantyhose around his eyes when he brought them close and caught a faint, feminine scent wafting from them.
"Shen Jingzhe, don’t tell you wore these today."
Shen Jingzhe’s face instantly flushed crimson. She had no idea how he knew, but that was no longer important. The crucial part was that she was having Lin Xiao use a pair of pantyhose she had taken off not long ago as a blindfold. The whole situation felt utterly absurd. After all, pantyhose were a very personal item.
"I don’t have anything else for a blindfold, so I have to make do with this," she replied, feigning composure. However, the slight tremble in her voice betrayed her.
Lin Xiao sighed helplessly. "Fine, worn is worn. But next ti, can you make them the flesh-colored ones? I like those better."
"Scram!" Shen Jingzhe snapped. That shaless bastard, actually daring to make requests!
"Alright, just kidding. You can take off your clothes now."
Shen Jingzhe snorted. But before she undressed, she cautiously waved her hand in front of Lin Xiao’s eyes.
"Stop testing . I really can’t see."
With another snort, she began to remove her clothes. Normally, Shen Jingzhe wasn’t a bashful person. Fortunately, her mind was set on the detoxification, so she shed her clothes quickly.

"Why?"

Shen Jingzhe snorted coldly.
"Lie down and don’t move."
The words had barely left his lips when the Xuantian Needle in his hand pierced the area over Shen Jingzhe’s heart.
A cool sensation washed over her. Shen Jingzhe asked coldly, "Are you from the Immortal Doctor Sect?"
"No," Lin Xiao countered. He wasn’t technically a mber. Although the Sect Leader of the Immortal Doctor Sect was his master, Lin Xiao had never formally joined.
"Then why are your dical skills so incredible?"
"Didn’t I tell you before?" Lin Xiao retorted.
Shen Jingzhe fell silent. But in the darkness, her captivating eyes stared at Lin Xiao with an incredibly complex expression.
Is he really the one destined for ? she couldn’t help but wonder.
