"I hit soone."
Lin Xiao was taken aback. "What happened?"
"So scumbag was harassing Yanzi. She called , and I rushed over. He tried to grab her, so in a fit of anger, I hit him!"
"Does he have a powerful background?"
"He claims to be from a major family in Shengjing," Pei Donglai said, his voice heavy with frustration.
Lin Xiao instantly understood why Pei Donglai was calling. "Alright, I get it. Where are you now?"
"At Yanzi’s school gate!"
"Wait for ."
Pei Donglai quickly affird, and Lin Xiao hung up. He was about to leave but suddenly rembered Chu Xiangxue’s concert tickets. He had, after all, promised them to Pei Donglai.

By the ti he arrived at Pei Yanzi’s school, a crowd had already gathered at the gate. Lin Xiao quickly parked and strode toward them. Before he even got close, he heard an arrogant voice shout, "Fuck, you think you can just hit and walk away? Do you really think I, Huang Xinglong, am a pushover? I’m telling you, if you don’t give a satisfactory answer today, I’ll fucking kill you!"
"And what kind of satisfactory answer do you want?" It was Pei Donglai. His voice was as cold as a blade, but Lin Xiao could hear the fury simring just beneath the surface, barely suppressed.
"Fuck! First, you’re going to get on your goddamn knees and apologize! Then, you’re going to have Pei Yanzi keep good company!"
"Are you looking for death?" Pei Donglai roared, his voice trembling with a terrifying, murderous intent.
Lin Xiao knew he was utterly enraged. Pei Donglai wasn’t soone to get this angry otherwise. He was once the renowned War God of the Western Region. If he truly lost his temper, forget a minor scuffle; the other guy would end up crippled at the very least.
Lin Xiao quickened his pace. It wasn’t that he was afraid Pei Donglai would kill soone, but doing it at a school gate in front of so many people would traumatize Pei Yanzi.
"Yo, looking for death? You fucking security guard, you’ve got a lot of nerve talking to like that! Do you have any idea who I am? I’m from the Huang Family of Shengjing! Go ask around and see what that ans in this city! You wanna act tough with ? I’ll fucking kill you, and you’ll have died for nothing!"
The arrogance was astounding. But Lin Xiao was slightly taken aback. The Huang Family of Shengjing? Huang Xingcheng’s brother?
Lin Xiao pushed through the crowd. He imdiately saw Pei Yanzi standing behind Pei Donglai, her face deathly pale, with heartbreaking tear streaks on her beautiful cheeks.
"What’s going on?" Lin Xiao asked, walking up to Pei Donglai.
Hearing Lin Xiao’s voice, Pei Donglai’s seething emotions finally subsided a little. He said respectfully, "Captain, this piece of trash was trying to drag Yanzi to a hotel." As he spoke, he shot a hateful glare at Huang Xinglong.
When Pei Yanzi heard Lin Xiao’s voice, she quickly looked up at him. Already feeling aggrieved, she now looked even more so, pouting her plump, rosy lips as fresh tears welled up in her beautiful eyes and stread down her face.
Lin Xiao’s heart ached seeing her like this, but now wasn’t the ti for comfort. He gave her a reassuring nod before turning his gaze to Huang Xinglong. This scumbag was unremarkable in appearance, but he was decked out in designer brands and carried himself with extre arrogance.
"You’re the one bullying my people?" Lin Xiao asked.
Huang Xinglong shot him a disdainful look. "Where did this stinking beggar crawl out from? Is it your place to speak?"
Lin Xiao smiled. "What is Huang Xingcheng to you?"
Huang Xinglong was startled for a mont, not expecting this beggar to know his older brother’s na. "Fuck, that’s my big brother! What about it?"
Lin Xiao nodded. Then, with a sudden leap, he unleashed a vicious spinning kick that slamd squarely into Huang Xinglong’s body.
BAM!!!
The trendous force sent the scumbag flying. Huang Xinglong crashed hard onto the ground and began screaming in agony. This sudden turn of events shocked everyone present, including Pei Donglai and Pei Yanzi.
Lin Xiao, however, wasn’t finished. He ambled over to Huang Xinglong and looked down at him, his gaze as contemptuous as if he were observing a dog. Ignoring Huang Xinglong’s murderous glare, Lin Xiao took out his phone and dialed Huang Xingcheng.
The call was answered instantly. Of course it was. This was the man who could annihilate the Huang Family with a single word. Huang Xingcheng wouldn’t dare be slow.
"Boss, I was just about to call you," Huang Xingcheng said respectfully.
Ignoring the attempt to curry favor, Lin Xiao asked coldly, "Do you have a brother nad Huang Xinglong?"
"Fuck, don’t ntion that piece of trash! He’s just so bastard son— Ah, wait, no. Boss, what did that scum do to you?"
"Where are you?" Lin Xiao countered.
"I just landed in Jinling City. I’m on my way to Jinling University now to settle accounts with that bastard."
Lin Xiao couldn’t be bothered with their family drama. "When will you get here?" he asked coldly.
"A few minutes!"
"Good. Hurry up," Lin Xiao said and hung up.
He then turned his gaze back to Huang Xinglong and asked tonelessly, "So, are you going to apologize to Yanzi now, or are you going to wait for Huang Xingcheng to get here and do it?"
