The words had barely left his mouth when Shen Jingzhe’s fists struck him like lightning. The imnse force instantly sent him flying, but she also staggered several steps back from the recoil before regaining her balance.
Lin Xiao smashed hard onto the ground. His qi and blood roiled within him, the pain excruciating. But after a mont, the pain completely vanished. He stood up and asked with a smile, "Feel better now?"
"If you court death again, don’t bla for getting rough!" Shen Jingzhe said, her voice as cold as frost.
Seeing she wasn’t angry anymore, Lin Xiao grinned. "Understood. To thank you for going easy on , I’ll treat you now!"
"No need. Wait until tonight!" Shen Jingzhe said coldly.
Having said her piece, she turned and went into her room. Lin Xiao didn’t quite understand why she wouldn’t let him treat her right away, but he couldn’t be bothered to think too much about it.
When Chu Xiangxue ca back, Lin Xiao was still feeding the koi.

"What’s up?" Lin Xiao asked with a smile.
Chu Xiangxue nodded. "My concert in Jinhai City is coming up, so I have to go there today to start rehearsals!"
"So, you want to take you to Jinhai City?"
"Yes! Can you take ?" Chu Xiangxue asked, smiling.
Lin Xiao thought for a mont and said, "Alright, wait a mont. I’ll go let Qingning know."

"It’s nothing, I was just thinking," Su Qingning said indifferently. "Did you need sothing?"
Lin Xiao nodded. "Chu Xiangxue’s concert in Jinhai City is coming up. She has to go there for rehearsals today and asked to give her a ride."
"Then go ahead. You don’t have to tell ."
