Western Continent, Knowledge City, Supre Black Tower headquarters.

Magic.

This term, sowhat unfamiliar to the Western Continent, has in recent years spread rapidly among the human population as if by explosion.

Humans are wise but not strong.

Compared to powerful Divine Era races like ancient dragons and giants, this new human race has neither sharp fangs nor strong physique, and is not inherently in harmony with nature and the elents like elves.

The ergence of Soul Pact and the Beastmaster System is a path explored by humans.

Using the pure and untainted human soul, which does not descend into madness due to the aftershocks of cataclysms, to form contracts with supernatural races in a mutually beneficial manner.

However, the Beastmaster also has its limitations.

Signing a contract with a pet beast itself requires extrely high physical qualities. If an untrained ordinary human were to sign a contract with an Emperor Rank Mithril Turtle, even if the Soul Pact could be completed, the human contractor would likely not withstand the backlash and perish.

Not all humans excel in combat, or can beco Beastmasters and fight alongside pet beasts.

The appearance of the Arcane Arts, magic, and the Wizard system, however, filled this gap.

As long as one possesses a heart yearning for exploration and the truth of all things, then even if physically disabled and confined to a wheelchair, one can still beco a wizard.

Turning the fantasies of the heart into reality.

Moreover, just as Shiayar mastered both, becoming a wizard does not contradict other supernatural systems...

For all these reasons, coupled with the royal families of human nations fanning the flas after that audience eting, the power of the Supre Black Tower has risen on the Western Continent like a cot.

Along with it, the na of the Supre Black Tower, as well as its founder, was spread to every corner of the Western Continent—

The na "Shiayar Egutt".

Just as that Golden Elf had once promised before all the kings of human nations.

Make your na renowned across the world.

...

Supre Black Tower, an unknown sub-dinsion.

The only entrance where this sub-dinsion intersects with the Main Material Plane is located within the Black Tower Great Library, which is also the most mysterious place in the entire Supre Black Tower.

At the sa ti, this unassuming sub-dinsion is also the residence of the Black Tower’s Eight Page Mage chief, "1st Page Eternity" Hathaway Zerkin.

Columns of tal stand tall.

Between the columns are countless imnse bookshelves.

Volus of thick books are displayed, emanating an ancient and profound ripple, carrying the flavor of passing ti.

At the very center of the Great Library, a scroll of a book is open in mid-air.

Rustle, rustle.

Without any apparent external force, the scroll suspended in mid-air is slowly turning its pages.

On the white pages, words in the ancient Elvish Language, bearing the aura of history, are being written at a constant speed.

"The final spot of the Eight Page seats—the ’Future Four Pages’—has been successfully decided according to the preset competitive rules, thus completing the Black Tower’s original Eight Pages."

"Just like the Black Tower I saw in that City of Phantasmal Shadows that existed for only one day."

"There’s movent in the depths of the Astral Realm, suspected to be the True Gods who have restored their divinity gathering, perhaps intending to take action against the Black Tower."

Lines of words appear in this manner, using the ssage rune circuits connecting the Spirit Realm, compiling, organizing, and selecting specific matters to record all intelligence and information occurring on the Western Continent.

And at the deepest part of the Great Library, a Golden Elf girl with pale golden hair lightly closes her eyes, as if sleeping or ditating.

Since returning to the Western Continent from the Astral Realm, she has stayed in this lonely Great Library for several years.

Or more precisely, the Supre Black Tower and Knowledge City were built like a miracle overnight.

And using the power of the magic word, established the self-enforcing, unbreakable Black Tower rules across the Black Tower and all its sub-dinsions.

And established that anyone can access the Great Library according to their rank for study.

The Golden Elf then locked herself away in the deepest part of the Black Tower Great Library, never intervening in Black Tower affairs again.

Allowing those new wizards to learn within the Great Library, expanding their spell systems, and spreading the nas of Arcane Arts and magic to every corner of the Western Continent.

Until today, except for those of very high rank who knew the broadcast from the Astral Realm and the truth about the city’s and Black Tower’s establishnt,

many ordinary Black Tower witch apprentices do not even know of the existence of the "1st Page Eternity," a non-human belonging to an exotic race.

To other Black Tower high authorities aware of the inner story, this is a rather perplexing matter.

Clearly possessing the power to create a city in barren lands overnight, this mysterious Golden Elf could have lived as the master of the Black Tower, the creator of magic and wizards, the God of Arcanum...

Like the other gods, living in the reverence and worship of thousands of beings.

Yet Hathaway chose to lock herself in the cold and dark Great Library, day and night, with simple books as her companions.
