The words of the Twilight Giant echoed like the roar of a monuntal wave.

"I don’t care who’s behind you."

"Whether it’s that mysterious human... or perhaps the storm or death."

"Or maybe, this is just a self-directed ruse by you all and the Silver Moon—"

"I don’t care."

"Because——"

"In the face of absolute power, the plots and sches of all insects and ants have no significance."

The majestic divine light swept in, carrying the montum of a thousand troops and horses, with swords and slaughter.

This was the full-force strike of the God of War, an ancient god.

Even though they were also ancient gods, the Authority of Abundance and Life were not inherently specialized in combat and slaughter.

If touched by that deathly light, they would inevitably be severely wounded.

For deities, being wounded is not sothing that a few bottles of healing potions could resolve like for low-level transcendents.

There is almost nothing in this world that can heal the wounds of deities, only lurking in the Astral Realm and using long periods of ti to heal.

But clearly, in this thoroughly ripped-apart situation, if Abundance and Life were severely wounded, other Fabled Creatures would not give them ti to escape.

By then, the only outco awaiting them would be the fall.

Yet——

Facing the deathly divine light, there was not the slightest emotion on Abundance’s delicate and indifferent face.

Her bright red lips moved slightly.

"Three."

"Two."

"One."

The Goddess of Abundance’s cold and emotionless murmurs echoed throughout the vast Bronze Palace.

What is she doing?

Not thinking of dodging, nor joining forces with Life to resist the offensive, but instead counting down?

What will happen when the countdown ends?

This thought flashed through the mind of the God of War.

However, in the next mont——

"Zero."

The final countdown, like the chi of fate, slowly reverberated in the vast Bronze Hall.

...

Endless Ocean Domain, Elven Royal Court.

In the sub-dinsion nad the Garden of Eden.

"Truly impressive, Ennie."

"Even the simplest oatal porridge can taste so good."

Shiayar took a spoonful of oatal porridge into his mouth, sincerely complinting it while involuntarily yawning.

It was precisely this unconscious yawn from Shiayar that drew the attention of the blonde girl before him.

Enola glanced suspiciously at Shiayar; "You didn’t happen to not stay ho and sleep peacefully last night, but instead sneak out for so mischief, did you?"

Recently, for so unknown reason, this girl started her round-the-clock ditative cultivation again.

She spent twenty-three out of twenty-four hours of the day soaking in the ditation room, so Shiayar hadn’t been able to enjoy his usual nightly lap pillow for quite a while.

But even so, Enola still insisted on ending her ditation at five every morning to prepare Shiayar’s daily breakfast.

According to Enola, if she didn’t keep a close watch, Shiayar would probably skip breakfast out of laziness, which is bad for his digestion.

When she said this, the girl was completely unaware that with her and Shiayar’s current rank, not eating for decades wouldn’t make any difference.

It was as if the two of them weren’t high and aloof, transcendent, seated upon a throne in the clouds, but rely two inconspicuous students in the bustling city of Calot.

They still needed to complete the Jurisdiction Bureau and Military Departnt’s bounty tasks for the extraordinary materials needed for daily cultivation, haggling over the price of a 2nd Order extraordinary material in the black market.

Ordinary, strenuous, yet fulfilling and satisfying.

"Ennie, what are you talking about, I was just sleeping last night."

Shiayar waved his hand.

After being caught by his childhood sweetheart several tis, Shiayar had gained so experience.

If he told a lie, Enola’s Intuition EX would definitely pick it up, so he chose to tell the truth.

He really was sleeping last night...

It’s just that where he slept, and with whom, was open for discussion.

"As for the reason for the yawn..."

"Ennie, do you still rember I said before that I wanted to give you a grand fireworks display?"

"I’ve spent quite a bit of spiritual power on that lately."

This was also the truth.

Shiayar had indeed put a lot of effort into the grand fireworks, and frequent use of spiritual power brought so side effects, which was understandable.

Shiayar’s maneuver indeed diverted Enola’s attention.

She looked at Shiayar and tilted her head: "What exactly needs you to put in so much effort even now?"

Shiayar thought for a mont: "Ennie, do you rember in the Echo of History of Escarnia, when I used the ’Nuclear Explosion’ to deal with the Evil God Crimson Red Moon that had turned the entire Empire into its Divine Kingdom?"

The blonde girl nodded.

Though she wasn’t by Shiayar’s side at that ti, she later learned of Shiayar’s entire experience in the Echo of History of Escarnia through her own channels.

As for Enola’s own intelligence source, it naturally ca from a certain white ferret from the sa town as Enola, who had long invested in Ennie stocks, early recognizing its mistress as its inside mole.
