Chapter 130 – The True Ancestor Princess of the City of a Thousand Years

“Crimson Moon…”

“And the Black Princess?”

Xia Ya was montarily stunned.

As the head of the Xiao Organization, he’d done his fair share of intel gathering.

The Blood Clan and that so-called City of a Thousand Years might be low-profile most of the ti,

But they were still one of the top-tier powers across all of Aisgania.

Crimson Moon—full na: "The Crimson Moon."

One of the ancient gods of the Abyssal Planes, and the progenitor of the Blood Clan.

Not one of those half-baked false gods or evil gods—

But a true abyssal deity, equal in rank to the Seven Gods of Dawn.

Still, things seed… complicated.

At least in the tiline a thousand years later, Xia Ya had barely heard anything about Crimson Moon.

As for the vampires living in the City of a Thousand Years,

There was actually a strict hierarchy among them.

Ordinary vampires ranged from lowly barons to Legendary-tier princes.

But even the Vampire Princes were turned—they were not born vampires.

Also known as ghouls, or dead apostles.

But aside from the turned vampires,

There existed a rarer type—the innate vampires.

In other words—True Ancestors.

“According to records from the Church of Dawn, even the weakest True Ancestor is at least Legendary-tier—

So are even said to have reached the Throne tier.”

“But… those are ancient beings.

Most of the True Ancestors have long since perished in the forgotten history of the Old Era.”

“Of the Blood Clan today, only one confird living True Ancestor remains—

‘The True Ancestor Princess,’ Black Princess.”

“And from Flandre’s last words earlier…

It seems the last remaining True Ancestor, the Black Princess,

isn’t exactly on the sa side as the dead apostles or Crimson Moon—

Their infighting seems pretty intense.”

“A True Ancestor like the Black Princess would actually hunt down a high-tier Vampire Prince like Flandre?”

Xia Ya’s thoughts raced—

But his body instinctively took a step back, hiding behind the gravestone.

He didn’t know exactly what sort of civil war had broken out among the Blood Clan,

But it had nothing to do with him—for now.

Besides, his ntal state wasn’t great.

He’d just fired off that Divine Judgnt Spear,

And his mind was half-burned out—unable to handle another intense battle.

With that in mind, Xia Ya tried to focus.

Yet several seconds passed…

And his body didn’t shift as expected.

No spatial fluctuation, no exit from the Historical Echo.

“Master, sothing’s wrong. There’s a major disruption in the River of Ti around this Historical Echo.”

Yui’s voice traveled through the Fifth Soul Pact—tinged with a rare note of confusion.

It was Xia Ya’s first ti encountering this kind of situation inside a Historical Echo.

At that mont—

In the nearby graveyard—

The Blood Clan’s True Ancestor, known as the Black Princess, furrowed her delicate brows.

Crimson mist replaced the golden glow in her eyes—

And not just her gaze—

Even her curvy, mature body, which had evolved from its petite form,

took on a faint blush of rosy red.

“Run.”

“Crimson Moon has awakened my bloodlust…”

A hoarse voice—emotionless, chanical—sounded.

But before she could finish speaking,

That robotic voice suddenly gained a tinge of raw, unfiltered desire.

The Black Princess stuck out her pink tongue, slowly licking her blood-red lips.

Her petite fangs flashed faintly.

The next instant—

Her flawless face lit up,

Her crimson moon-like eyes glowing brilliantly.

As if enchanted by a spell, Xia Ya’s attention was wholly and completely drawn to those eyes.

Those blood-red eyes were too beautiful—

Seductive, soul-stealing—

Pulling you in, luring you to sink into them,

To kneel at her feet beneath that dark veil and beco her willing blood thrall.

Sure, it was basically handing your life over—

But who could resist when the owner of those eyes was this stunning?

Fragrant, petite, and soft to the touch…

Holy sh*t—was that the vampire ability, “Charm Gaze”?

Xia Ya snapped awake with a jolt.

He hadn’t expected that even soone like him—a master of eyes and illusions—

Had almost been entranced by another’s charm.

If not for the fact that his ntal strength had been boosted by the Sands of Ti,

Elevating him beyond his rank, even to near-Legendary levels—

He might’ve actually been caught.

Even so, this final True Ancestor Princess of the Blood Clan…

was terrifying.

Not just a normal Legend… maybe a peak Legend? Or even Throne-tier?

“Get away from …”

That sa hoarse voice echoed again—

But now, even her voice trembled slightly as she struggled to suppress her bloodlust.

“I’m warning you… if you don’t want to die, then run as far away as you can.”

“A True Ancestor, and you’re this against drinking blood?”

Xia Ya raised a brow at the black-haired girl trembling with restraint.

His body flickered, teleporting a few dozen ters away.

Then he shrugged.

“But, sorry—if a True Ancestor has locked onto as prey,

I doubt I could get away even if I tried.”

And that was true.

A few dozen ters of Flash, with cooldowns in between,

wasn’t enough to escape a Legendary-tier hunter.

Xia Ya gave a helpless shrug.

The next mont, pale silver elental sparks danced at his fingertips—

And quickly coalesced into a slender silver blade.

Holding the blade, Xia Ya slashed open a vein at his neck—

Hot, crimson blood gushed from the wound.

“Well, if you’re that thirsty… might as well let you drink a little.”

“If draining so blood helps calm that urge, then go for it.”

He dismissed the blade made from silver particles.

“You don’t seem like Flandre. You actually look like soone I can talk to.”

The mont the blood began to flow—

The air around the black-haired vampire girl grew noticeably hotter.

Her crimson eyes flared even brighter,

Fixated on Xia Ya’s bleeding neck.

“I’ve never tried it myself, but according to the records in the City of a Thousand Years…

When a True Ancestor loses control, they can suck a pure-blooded dragon completely dry.

You sure you won’t end up a corpse?”

“Let’s find out the hard way.”

Xia Ya nodded casually.

As long as he wasn’t trapped in so sealed Spatial Cage and tossed into the ocean,

He had nothing to fear.

Almost the instant Xia Ya nodded—

He sensed a violent gust surge toward him.

The black-haired vampire girl turned into a blur—

Suddenly pressing up against his side at point-blank range.

Those ruby-like eyes glinted with a savage red light.

The next mont, those sharp little fangs pierced into Xia Ya’s skin.

A soft, warm sensation wrapped around his neck as she sucked—wildly, ravenously.

Xia Ya looked down at the vampire True Ancestor clinging to him, her eyes hazy, her body burning hot, arms wrapped around his neck.

A thoughtful look crossed his face.

From this black-haired vampire princess, he clearly felt sothing… familiar.

A feeling that stirred a vague suspicion in his heart.

But it was just a suspicion—nothing he could prove.

No telling how much ti passed…

“Master, I’ve found a path to exit the Historical Echo,”

Yui’s voice ca through the Soul Pact.

“However, the River of Ti still seems to be in chaos.”

“She’s been drinking long enough, hasn’t she?”

“Alright. Ti to head back.”

Xia Ya sent out the thought.

He glanced once at the vampire girl still clinging to him, moaning unconsciously.

Then, his figure began to fade—

Becoming intangible.

Again—who knew how long had passed.

Only then did the crimson in the Black Princess’s eyes begin to recede,

Fading back into a soft, golden hue.

Her form shifted as well,

Shrinking from that mature, curvaceous lady back into the original black-gowned girl.

Golden light shimred in her eyes as she stared blankly in the direction Xia Ya had vanished,

Every so often flicking her tongue across her lips—

As if the feeling of that blood still lingered in her mind.

The next mont, she extended her pale, slender hand.

And then—countless specks of starlight-like light rose from the earth,

Gathering toward her fingertips.

This was a True Ancestor’s unique ability—

Tied to the very roots of the planes,

Able to gather information directly from the region’s leylines.

The soft lights gradually faded.

Then—she took a single step forward.

And the desolate graveyard vanished in an instant—

Replaced by a silent, lifeless city.

A shadowy and cold city, shrouded beneath an eternal night.

There were no stars, no sunlight—

Only the occasional silver moon casting pale light,

Giving this ancient place an air of bleak beauty.

Just like its na—“City of a Thousand Years.”

A dead city, unchanged for millennia.

The black-haired vampire princess stepped into this city—

Passing through rows of grand, ornate coffins—

All lavishly inlaid with gemstones, yet steeped in an air of decay.

She walked until she reached the very end—

Where a single black iron throne awaited.

Sitting atop it,

She raised her hand, fingers gliding through the air—

And the moonlight pouring from the do above

was captured by her rhythm and will.

Then—

She drew his face in the air.

The figure of that boy—etched in glowing silver.

With one hand propping up her delicate chin,

She quietly studied the moon-drawn image of the boy’s face.

After a long while,

She softly spoke the na

gathered from the information drawn from the land’s leyline.

“Kayin.”

Her whisper vanished into the eternal night of the City of a Thousand Years—

Heard by no one.
