In early December, it wasn’t cold yet in Zhejiang, with lush mountains and ink-colored peaks.
Though the environnt was sowhat harsh, Sheng Tang found enjoynt in the filming itself.
They still had quite a bit of wirework to do.
William was extrely excited about this.
While so staff complained about the environnt and so actors felt uncomfortable, William was having a blast, like a fool.
Once, Sheng Tang and Wang Chuiyang were sitting on the highest steps of the Daoist temple watching the sunset, when they saw William hopping along the mountain path. Wang Chuiyang said to Sheng Tang, "If I had a younger brother, he should be like William. Handso, lively, but also thoughtful and strategic, very adept in social situations."
She really admired William.
Sheng Tang thought about it and realized that she already had such a brother.
Her brother, Sheng Zong, was just as Wang Chuiyang described.
Perhaps Sheng Zong wasn’t as handso as William, but he was certainly very good-looking.
He was not lacking in thought or strategy, and was decent with people; Sheng Tang considered herself very lucky.
She told Wang Chuiyang, "My brother is such a perfect person."
"You have a brother?" Wang Chuiyang beca curious about her affairs.
Sheng Tang then talked to her about her brother.
William noticed them, dashed up the steps, and in the slightly chilly December air, he was sweating heavily from running.
"What are you talking about?"
"We’re talking about you being like our younger brother," Sheng Tang said.
William was indeed four or five years younger than the two of them, undoubtedly a younger brother.
However, he always respectfully called Sheng Tang "Sister Tang," while directly calling Wang Chuiyang "Chuiyang."
"Really?" William laughed, revealing a set of white and neat teeth, "You both don’t have brothers?"
The topic was discussed for a few monts.
William pointed to a spot not far down the mountain, "There’s a small Buddhist temple over there. But I heard from the people at the Daoist temple that the monks there know martial arts. Sotis they even provide martial arts guidance for the film crew."
Sheng Tang stood up and took a look, "It’s quite far."
"Not too far, an hour’s run," William said. "I’m going for a run in the morning, I can have a look then."
Sheng Tang also wanted to go for a run in the morning.
Recently, she had been eating well in the mountains and had gained a pound.
For an actress, gaining weight is a nightmare and an unprofessional behavior.
"What ti are you going for a run in the morning?" Sheng Tang asked.
"Six o’clock."
"Wait for tomorrow morning," Sheng Tang said. "I need to run for a few days, otherwise I’ll get even fatter."
Wang Chuiyang looked at her speechlessly.
Sheng Tang was eight pounds lighter than Wang Chuiyang, almost becoming a clothes rack, and yet she still felt fat.
"That’s great, let’s do it together. At six o’clock, it’s not too bright, I know the terrain, you won’t trip if you run with . Chuiyang, want to join us?"
Wang Chuiyang politely declined, "I don’t want to run; I’d rather do so yoga in my room."
William, as always, got even more interested in the morning run, probably because he was a social butterfly.
Having soone to run with made him especially happy.
He even said to Sheng Tang, "Sister Tang, when we pass by the Buddhist temple, we can debate Zen with them. If we win, maybe they’ll let us stay for breakfast."
Sheng Tang: "..."
Wang Chuiyang laughed uncontrollably beside them.
"Debate Zen?" She found William too adorable, "You even understand Zen debates? Where are you really from?"
William: "I really like Zen Dao."
Sheng Tang also smiled helplessly.
However, William’s words reminded her, and she beca curious about what Zen sayings this world had.
Perhaps out of sheer boredom, that night after washing up, Sheng Tang and Ai’ai lay down, and she started searching online for the Zen sayings of this world, to see if there were any different from those in her world.
