This script reading session lasted for five hours.

Because there arose so disagreents in the middle.

Regarding the understanding of the roles, Wang Chuiyang and another actress playing the snake spirit, Niu Yanran, had so differences of opinion, as they had quite a few scenes together.

Wang Chuiyang’s character was initially introduced by Niu Yanran’s character, and they disagreed on how to introduce it here.

When there are disagreents, they need to be clarified. Wang Chuiyang has a straightforward personality, and it was evident at this mont.

The two producers diated.

They were not conflicting but genuinely debating for the roles, which was a very positive discussion. Sheng Tang and others were not producers and did not have to be responsible for coordinating the relationship between the actors, so they didn’t speak up.

Five hours later, everyone had missed their regular alti.

Liu Taofang invited everyone to dine.

During the al, Niu Yanran took the initiative to apologize to Wang Chuiyang, temporarily easing the atmosphere between them, and Wang Chuiyang also smiled and clinked glasses with her.

"Wang Chuiyang really separates personal and professional matters, not bringing the emotional attachnt to the role into her life," thought Sheng Tang.

She kind of admired Wang Chuiyang.

While dining, the atmosphere was very relaxed, and they chatted about personal matters.

Wang Chuiyang even proactively ca over to talk to Sheng Tang.

"At the last Qinglan Awards ceremony, I think I saw you," said Wang Chuiyang. "You won Best Supporting Actress."

"Yes, we were in the sa cohort," Sheng Tang replied with a smile.

"It’s a pity we didn’t get to talk then," Wang Chuiyang said. "Your acting is recognized as outstanding. I don’t know if you’ve heard, but this ti, I took a pay cut just to collaborate with you."

Sheng Tang smiled: "You flatter too much."

"No false modesty here, I really want an opportunity to work together," Wang Chuiyang said. "Let’s interact more in the future."

Sheng Tang clinked glasses with her.

After the gathering, Sheng Tang didn’t leave but stayed in the nearby tea room chatting with William.

Speaking of him taking this movie, Sheng Tang was quite surprised.

"...I thought you’d never want to collaborate with in this lifeti," Sheng Tang laughed.

William burst into laughter.

He laughed for a mont and then beca sowhat serious.

"Sister Tang, I’m considering my future," William said.

After "Who’s Afraid in the Workplace" was released, William beca quite popular. Unlike Sheng Tang who is very cautious, he imdiately took on both a movie and a TV show.

The TV series has already aired. Sheng Tang might not have noticed, but the ratings weren’t particularly ideal; the movie hasn’t been released yet and probably won’t be until next year, but William has seen the final cut.

He’s very disappointed; whether it’s in the TV show or the movie, his performance left him disappointed.

He’s also watched "Who’s Afraid in the Workplace," and felt he did very well in it.

In the TV series, his acting was decent, and the director often praised him. Probably due to his good looks, his acting was relatively poor, making him stand out.

As for the movie, the director was critical of him, but he couldn’t get into the right state; eventually, the director gave up on him, no longer demanding.

"...I’ve really thought a lot. During the filming, you inspired a lot, and I was so imrsed in the role that it was hard to snap out of it," William sighed, "Later in my two works, my performance was very bad.

Maybe, my understanding of acting hasn’t been truly thorough, but in front of you, I can be propelled by you. I didn’t take on films afterward, only variety shows.

My singing is pretty good, you know, and my agent thinks that I could certainly beco very popular in variety shows. But I am unwilling, I really want to beco a true actor."

At this point, William sighed again, "So, I ca to you. I’d grab this role even for free! Sister Tang, you still need to help this ti, check out where my acting goes wrong."
