Gu Jiahui stayed at the film set for two days, then returned to the city.

When he arrived, he was heavy-hearted and in a bad mood; on his way back, he was refreshed, with even a faint smile on his face.

Director Cheng from the company’s artist departnt noticed his change and asked him, "Did President Gu visit the set?"

"Yes." Gu Jiahui smiled gently.

Director Cheng thought to herself: Tsk, n at this age are really easy to appease.

During the two-day visit, sothing must have happened, and Director Cheng had her own understanding.

However, seeing President Gu return to a good mood, Director Cheng found it quite nice. Therefore, the usually cold and reserved Director Cheng also thought Sheng Tang was a pretty good person.

Sheng Tang, having no idea who was missing her, sneezed a few tis on the film set.

Ai’ai was very worried, "Sister Tang, did you catch a cold?"

"No." Sheng Tang smiled, "Don’t be so startled."

The filming these days has been very busy, Sheng Tang and the crew even worked overti at night.

The director and the producer were very eager to finish filming before the end of the year.

However, they also needed to consider the box office and reputation, so it couldn’t be done carelessly.

By the ti it was the 27th of the twelfth lunar month, one-third of the scenes were still unfinished.

The director resigned to the situation.

"We’ll resu on the eighth day of the new year; don’t anyone be late," the producer announced, looking quite regretful.

Sheng Tang and producer Liu Taofang returned to the city together, as she and her assistant Ai’ai rode in Liu Taofang’s car.

Sheng Tang sat in the front passenger seat and started chatting with Liu Taofang.

"...When we start filming next year, we’ll need to prepare for post-production," Liu Taofang said, "About the film editing, if you have any opinions, we can discuss it together."

Sotis, the decision on a film’s editing isn’t solely up to the director; the investors also have a say.

Of course, the major investors.

For "Genius Girl," Sheng Tang invested half of the budget, so she absolutely had a say.

"I’m not an expert in editing, so I can’t give much advice there. Once you’ve finished editing, I’ll just have a look. If I’m really dissatisfied, I’ll get a professional to help," Sheng Tang said.

Liu Taofang really liked her straightforward attitude.

At the beginning, the director was actually quite worried about Sheng Tang.

Once filming starts, typically, the director is the only one with a say, and investors can’t interfere. But Sheng Tang was not just an investor, she was also the lead actress.

Her acting skills were pretty good, and the public always praised her acting.

The director feared she would act like an expert and ddle in the filming.

Honestly, Liu Taofang also had such concerns. If she really did that, they couldn’t say much about it.

Unexpectedly, Sheng Tang was quite humble.

She listened carefully to the director, worked in sync with the director’s rhythm, and took on the role of being "obedient, serious, and focused," setting an example for the other young actors.

She was still quite young; calling her a college student wouldn’t be far off.

The director was also worried she might not portray Yan Zi well, but results proved her acting was indeed solid, with no worry of breaking character.

When Sheng Tang was in a scene, the only thing the director needed to worry about was her overshadowing the other actors too much, and how to balance it to make the picture more harmonious.

It was such a pleasant first collaboration that Liu Taofang felt quite favorable towards Sheng Tang.

The car returned to the city, and Liu Taofang dropped Sheng Tang off outside Gu Jiahui’s apartnt.

Ai’ai took a taxi ho, preparing to go back to her hotown for the New Year tomorrow.

Sheng Tang returned to the apartnt, did so simple packing, and planned to return to her parents’ house.

In the apartnt’s living room, there was a note left for her, written by Cheng Lichuan: "Tangtang, we’ve left first, Jiahuai is going with us to my place for the New Year. When you leave by yourself, lock the doors and windows."

Sheng Tang smiled knowingly, went downstairs, and took a cab.
