After dinner, they chatted for a while.

Sheng Tang’s attitude was calm.

Gu Shiyan and Song Chen could see that she seed very satisfied with her current life. Facing Gu Shiting, she didn’t show much emotion either.

For her, the past was really in the past.

As the ti grew late, Sheng Tang said she wanted to leave.

"Ting, you should escort Tangtang," Song Chen said.

Sheng Tang quickly said, "No need, I’ll go downstairs and catch a cab. It’s so convenient to get a taxi in the city, why bother? Otherwise, I’d be afraid to co next ti."

Song Chen smiled.

Gu Shiyan then said, "Then Ting can accompany Tangtang downstairs to catch a cab."

This ti, Sheng Tang did not refuse.

Gu Shiting picked up her coat and handed it to her, then turned to get his own.

They both put on their coats and took the elevator downstairs.

In the elevator, Sheng Tang didn’t speak, standing idly; Gu Shiting hesitated for a mont, then he spoke first.

"Not going out of town for filming?"

Sheng Tang: "I signed a new movie, the first part is probably going to be fild in the city, later maybe out of town."

Gu Shiting: "If you’re filming in the city, can I visit the set?"

"Sure, you can co with Brother Zhou," Sheng Tang smiled, "if he has ti."

Gu Shiting said a few more words.

When they got off the elevator, Sheng Tang slightly blocked him with her hand.

"Don’t co down," Sheng Tang said, "I can go back myself, I know the way."

"Good night." Gu Shiting indeed did not follow.

He pressed the button to go back to his sister’s floor, standing alone in the elevator, letting his thoughts wander.

He didn’t really want to win Tangtang back. He wasn’t naive anymore; he knew they were really over. Nevertheless, hearing her talk about a new boyfriend still caused a pang in his heart.

Sheng Tang left Song Chen’s ho, thinking that Sister Feifei and Brother Song understood her intentions and wouldn’t arrange such etings in the future.

She walked out and waited for an online car at the community gate.

At that mont, she noticed two children walking in her direction, followed by a car.

Sheng Tang, always wary, watched closely.

One was a girl around seven or eight, the other a younger boy. They were chatting and laughing, occasionally looking back proudly, as if they had deliberately shaken off the adults.

The van kept following them at a safe distance.

About a hundred ters from the community gate, the van suddenly approached, its door opened and a masked man stepped out.

Sheng Tang’s instincts kicked in.

The children seed relaxed, surely residents of this community; and Gu Shiyan lived in one of the city’s upscale communities, with wealthy residents.

Soone was trying to kidnap the children of the rich!

Seizing the mont, Sheng Tang dashed over. As the masked man grabbed the girl, Sheng Tang was already in front of them, kicking at the man.

She had been practicing martial arts for years, and knocking down a few n was no problem.

But Sheng Tang didn’t fight alone.

Seizing the opportunity, she grabbed the girl, shoved the boy into the bushes, and shouted, "Help! Robbery!"

There was a security room at the community gate, but it was cold at night, and the guards were huddled inside.

The community had strict access control; they only checked unfamiliar vehicles coming in, not those outside.

Another person got off the van, similarly masked, covering his face except for his eyes and nostrils.

Seeing them teaming up, Sheng Tang pushed the girl into the greenery behind her, fought with them to keep them away from the children, and kept shouting, "Help!"

Finally, the security room heard the commotion.

There were three guards in the room, all ca out to see, causing the robbers to make a run for it.

Sheng Tang kicked one to the ground, controlling him.

At this mont, the robber pulled out a short dagger from his boot and stabbed at Sheng Tang.

Realizing the danger, Sheng Tang dodged and gripped his head tightly with her legs.

The dagger grazed her arm, tearing her clothes.

Seeing their accomplice caught and the guards approaching, the other robber and the van driver stepped on the gas and fled.
