The noise in the room alerted Ke Fei.
Ke Fei hurried over, and Lei Yanhui’s assistant tried to stop him but failed.
"What the hell are you playing at? If you didn’t an it, why did you co here with a shaless face?"
"You think I’m a thug? I’m trying to help you, giving you a chance."
By the ti Ke Fei heard this, he was already sweating coldly.
He even heard Lei Yanhui curse Sheng Tang as a "filthy bitch," followed by a loud bang in the room.
Lei Yanhui’s assistant thought Lei was going to kill Sheng Tang.
These big-na directors rarely have a good temper. Director Lei having a bad temper and being volatile was a well-known fact. The assistant was afraid he’d lose control and kill Sheng Tang.
However, when the door was pushed open, they saw Lei Yanhui lying on the floor, unable to get up for a while.
Sheng Tang had stopped his filthy words with a shoulder throw.
Ke Fei quickly pulled Sheng Tang away, and they left the club in a hurry.

Before coming here, he thought Sheng Tang was being overly sensitive.
Now he understood it wasn’t Sheng Tang being paranoid but his own stupidity.
"Today’s incident is all my fault," Ke Fei said to Sheng Tang, "Don’t worry, I’ll find a way to apologize to Director Lei and minimize any impact on your career."
Ke Fei had made a lot of friends over the years in the industry.
When the ti ca, he could send soone to have a word with Lei Yanhui; it didn’t have to end in a total fallout.
After all, it was Lei Yanhui who was in the wrong first.

Ke Fei: "..."
He increasingly felt how terribly stupid he was.
He didn’t admit his ignorance; he just said tactfully, "It was my mishandling. Thanks a lot, Brother Hong."
"No big deal," said the producer.
Fortunately, the incident didn’t escalate, and Ke Fei still managed to get plenty of audition offers for Sheng Tang.
However, the feud with Lei Yanhui was now established.
This grudge was entirely due to Ke Fei’s misjudgnt. So, he had to take responsibility for it.
Because of this, he trusted Sheng Tang’s instincts even more.
Their trust rather strengthened as a result.
Sheng Tang wasn’t upset about the incident; she’d experienced similar things in her past life, as common as eating and drinking, and had developed strategies.
If she hadn’t wanted Ke Fei to confirm her judgnt, she wouldn’t have needed to offend Lei Yanhui at all.
But then again, Lei Yanhui was interested in her. He would make a move sooner or later, so it was better to fall out early and save trouble.
She didn’t let it bother her.
She was at ho going through the scripts Ke Fei had selected for her when she received a phone call.
