Sheng Tang’s phone was picked up by soone.
She kept staring at her phone. As it was picked up, she took it back, her gaze finally landing on the person’s face.
Sheng Tang was montarily stunned, and so was the other person.
On the phone, Zhou Yu was still calling out, "Sheng Tang, Sheng Tang?"
His voice was sowhat loud. When Sheng Tang took the phone, she accidentally pressed the speaker button. She quickly turned off the speaker and said, "It’s fine. I just dropped my phone for a mont. It’s picked up now."
The group of people had already walked inside.
Only the man remained standing there. He said sothing to his companion, who then went inside first.
Sheng Tang finished the call with Zhou Yu and hung up.
She looked up at the person in front of her, feeling he looked familiar but couldn’t rember where she had seen him.
The person had already greeted her, with a hint of probing, "Sheng Tang?"
"Yes, that’s ." Sheng Tang still couldn’t recall who he was, but he seed familiar, so they must have t, "Sorry, I don’t quite recognize you. May I ask who you are?"
Just now, Zhou Yu had called her na on the phone, so the man heard it; and since Sheng Tang had acted in a good movie, it was normal for him to recognize her.
But she had a good mory for faces and nas and shouldn’t forget soone.
The person laughed, "You don’t rember ?"
His smile showed no bla or teasing, just pure emotion, "I’m Qi Lin."
Sheng Tang: "..."
She was genuinely surprised.
Qi Lin was her high school classmate, and they had a bit of conflict, though they later reconciled.
However, it was difficult for her to connect the person in front of her with the boy she rembered.
After graduating from high school, they had lost touch, and Sheng Tang hadn’t heard any news about him.
Compared with his high school days, Qi Lin seed a bit taller and had beco more handso.
He had changed his hairstyle, exposing his forehead, and wore glasses, significantly altering his deanor. His facial features had matured, unlike his youthful appearance back then.
Sheng Tang hadn’t paid much attention to his face in the past; she just knew there was such a person in the class and rembered him in a glance. But when he changed his clothing and style, Sheng Tang didn’t recognize him.
"Qi Lin, it’s you." Sheng Tang smiled, with a hint of social poise, "We haven’t t since graduation. What are you busy with now?"
"I’m a director’s assistant," Qi Lin smiled, "Do you know Director Han Haoming?"
Sheng Tang certainly knew.
Considered one of the greatest directors of this era, whether judged by comrcial or artistic success, Director Han Haoming was undoubtedly at the top.
He was among the most famous of the famous directors.
"You’re interning with him?" Sheng Tang was surprised.
If he graduated with a degree in directing, Qi Lin should have taken the art college entrance exam in his third year of high school, but Sheng Tang rembered he didn’t.
The assistant he referred to was certainly not a personal assistant.
There was only one possibility: he was interning under Director Han Haoming.
Sheng Tang rembered his family background was quite good, so it wasn’t surprising he had connections with Director Han Haoming and received his ntorship.
"Yes," Qi Lin smiled, "It’s a long story. Do you want to have tea soti? We can sit down and talk slowly."
Sheng Tang was also willing to build a good relationship with soone close to a famous director, so she gave her phone number to Qi Lin.
Qi Lin saw it and smiled, "You haven’t changed your phone number all these years?"
Sheng Tang glanced at him suspiciously.
Qi Lin explained, "I saved your number back then, as well as other classmates’ numbers."
However, even if Sheng Tang didn’t change her number, Qi Lin might have changed his phone several tis. Did he transfer the numbers of his high school classmates every ti he changed his phone?
