Ke Fei and Ye Yongying weren’t familiar with each other; they were just colleagues who recognized each other, much like any ordinary coworkers.

The expansive sixth floor was entirely filled with eting rooms for the artists’ departnt, so it was quite common for managers and artists to co here for etings.

Ye Yongying didn’t think much of it.

Ke Fei wasn’t particularly warm either, giving her a slight nod, as if he couldn’t rember her na.

The two passed by each other.

Ye Yongying walked a few steps ahead and suddenly, out of nowhere, thought of Sheng Tang’s smug expression. Could it be that she was planning to ask Ke Fei to be her manager?

At this thought, Ye Yongying almost laughed out loud: how utterly presumptuous.

She walked a few more steps, feeling sowhat uneasy, and looked back.

By coincidence, she saw Ke Fei pushing open a eting room door, the sa room where Sheng Tang and Director Cheng were still inside, the very sa room she had just left.

Ye Yongying paused in her steps.

Then she reassured herself: "No way, it must be for sothing else! Ke Fei isn’t blind!"

With this thought, she went downstairs.

Managers at the sa company, if familiar with each other, also had a small group.

Using a tone of complaint, Ye Yongying told the group about how Sheng Tang had fired her.

"Wow, young people these days are really clueless!"

"Is that woman ntally unstable? Who does she think she is, daring to fire her manager?"

If Sheng Tang had gained so fa, these managers might have thought it was a fallout between her and Ye Yongying. Now, they just thought Sheng Tang had completely lost her mind.

Ye Yongying might have shelved her, but if she had behaved properly and not thrown a tantrum, for the company’s sake, Ye Yongying might have arranged a supporting role for her.

But after firing Ye Yongying, which other manager in the company would dare take her on? Unless they held a higher position than Ye Yongying.

Within Guanghong dia, there were fewer than five managers higher up than Ye Yongying, and they all had multiple award-winning stars to handle, so they had no ti for a nobody.

"Soone who’s not clear-headed, even if you give her a chance, she’ll still cause trouble. Congratulations, Ye, for dropping a heavy burden."

"She was trouble from the start, trying to cozy up to producers even before graduation, always scheming." Ye Yongying said.

The group chat erupted in a burst of laughing emojis.

A few managers offered so words of comfort to Ye Yongying, to varying degrees.

anwhile in the eting room, Sheng Tang had just signed a supplental contract with her new manager, Ke Fei.

Director Cheng still wore a stern expression but was much more cordial to Ke Fei.

She shook hands with Ke Fei: "Congratulations on finding your new partner."

Then she glanced at Sheng Tang and, breaking her usual deanor, offered a polite statent, "She’s quite good. I trust your judgnt."

Ke Fei thanked her.

That afternoon, two pieces of news spread within Guanghong dia, reaching the ears of those filming on location or attending events, stirring up the whole company.

First piece of news: Ke Fei had signed Sheng Tang, becoming her manager.

Second piece of news: Sheng Tang was President Gu’s girlfriend.

Everyone was stunned upon hearing the news.

"Who’s Sheng Tang?" This beca the question everyone within the company was asking.

"Never heard of her. Is there such a person in the artists’ departnt? It seems she has no background at all."

"How did she get into the company? There’s no information about her."

Everyone started searching high and low, asking around, and this rumor brought colleagues closer, even those who weren’t familiar started inquiring: Do you know Sheng Tang? Who exactly is she?
