Sheng Tang wrote a leave note and left the school, planning to take the tro ho.
"Tangtang?"
Sheng Tang’s steps paused slightly.
She followed the gaze and saw Gu Shiting.
The golden autumn sunlight spilled over him, giving him a faint golden edge. He was tall and big, and there was no longer any trace of childishness on his face, but the expression of grievance and pain, was exactly like that of a child.
Sheng Tang’s heart ached fiercely.
She hadn’t seen him for a long ti.
She had been eagerly awaiting, waiting for him to co and et, but had not expected to be separated from her grandmother forever.
Their relationship also ended on that day.
Sheng Tang didn’t hate him, nor did she bla him, even though his mistake might cause her to lose her family.
She just couldn’t be with him anymore.
Her expression must have been quite wooden, because the unease in Gu Shiting’s eyes deepened.
"Tangtang!" he stepped forward and grabbed her hand, "Don’t ignore !"
He wanted so much to ask, are you okay?
But there was no need to ask.
She was not okay.
Her eyes were swollen, with bloodshot so apparent; her complexion was ashen, lips dry, like a rose that had been drained of water.
Still as beautiful, yet so haggard.
"Have school started?" she just asked like this, as if nothing had happened between them.
"Not yet."
"You go back first, I’ll find you in a few days." Sheng Tang said, "I’m really sorry, Ting, I don’t feel like talking today."
Gu Shiting slowly let go of his hand.
He looked at her with a bit of luck and hope: "I want to apologize, it’s all my fault. Tangtang, you can punish however you want."
Sheng Tang: "I understand. I’ll find you in a few days."
She repeated this sentence.
After saying this, she turned and left.
Gu Shiting followed behind her. He was not sensitive, but he also realized that she was gradually slipping away from his life. The calr she was, the more terrifying.
He wanted so much to hug her tightly and hide her in his own basent.
However, that was a damp and dark place. A place like that, cannot grow roses.
He followed her, step by step.
Sheng Tang also knew, but she didn’t look back, nor did she quicken her pace.
Inside the tro, people ca and went.
Sheng Tang swiped her card and entered the tro, still without looking back, and Gu Shiting was blocked outside.
She walked very fast, and as soon as she turned down the stairs, her tears gushed out.
She used to always think, she didn’t love him enough, thought of him as a child; when she could really no longer love him, she would rember his goodness.
Goodness that was heartfelt and soul-baring.
Sheng Tang could never find a person better than him.
She wiped her tears desperately, but the tears still kept gushing out. Soone was watching her, even a little girl stuffed two napkins into her hand.
Sheng Tang didn’t have ti to thank, just used the napkins to cover her eyes.
She sat in the tro aimlessly for a long ti.
She needed to transfer once to go ho, but she forgot, until she reached the terminal station, and everyone got off the train.
Sheng Tang changed the train, and then went back.
She entered the tro at ten in the morning, and it wasn’t until nightfall that she ca out; she didn’t even know how many trips she had taken.
When she got ho, her father was frantic with worry.
"Where did you go? Your phone was unreachable." Her father scolded her, "Have you eaten?"
Sheng Tang shook her head.
Dinner was made by her father.
Her grandmother spoiled her father, always telling him when he was young to study well, work well, so much that her father knew nothing about housework.
He didn’t really know what to do, so he cooked so porridge and bought so cold dishes downstairs.
"Eat a little." her father said, "Then go to sleep."
In the middle of the night, Sheng Tang was awakened by crying.
It was her mother’s voice.
Her mother was almost half crazy. She had never suffered any setbacks in her life, her grandmother’s death, the blow to her was particularly heavy, she couldn’t adjust to it.
