Sheng Tang’s final exams went as usual; she didn’t deliberately hide anything.
She said to Gu Shiting, "This ti, I should be able to get into the top five in the school."
Gu Shiting wasn’t satisfied with the top five; he hoped she could get first place.
"What’s wrong, not being the first in school ans I’m not good enough for you?" Sheng Tang teased him.
Gu Shiting hugged her tightly, pressing her against his chest.
"Even if you co last, you’re still my girlfriend!" he said.
Sheng Tang burst into laughter.
On the third day of sumr vacation, the city’s college entrance exam results were out.
The day before the scores could be checked, Sheng Tang was incredibly nervous, almost to the point of insomnia, and had no appetite.
"I haven’t been this nervous in years, really!" she said.
She had seen much of the world, yet she didn’t know why she was suddenly so nervous. She shouldn’t have been nervous, as Gu Shiting’s grades had always been excellent.
Her anxiety caused her grandmother and parents to worry as well.
"What was the cutoff score for S University last year?" her grandmother asked.
Sheng Tang had already checked online, "620 points."
"Is it that high? Isn’t the total score just 750?"
"That’s for local admissions. I heard the cutoff score for external admissions is 650," Sheng Tang replied.
Her grandmother clicked her tongue.
"I knew they were amazing, but I didn’t know they were this amazing," her grandmother said. "No wonder a few years ago, soone in our community got into S University and threw a big party, even putting up a banner."
Sheng Tang laughed.
As they chatted, they waited.
The city’s college entrance exam scores could be checked at 8 PM tonight, either by phone or online.
Around seven o’clock, Sheng Tang couldn’t sit still.
Gu Shiting grabbed her hand, "Don’t worry, if I don’t get in, I’ll co back and repeat a year. We can still be classmates."

That night, Huishi High School also received all the students’ college entrance exam scores.
The city’s top science student was Gu Shiting. He was leagues ahead, scoring 20 points more than the second-place student.
The school was in an uproar.
This was Huishi’s third top student since its founding, and the first two were both arts students and scholarship recipients.
The top science student was a first.
The school heavily publicized it, hanging banners all over the street in front of the school, all while arranging for various dia interviews.
However, Gu Shiting himself refused to show up.
