It was an ordinary Wednesday morning.
In mid-May, S City is rainy, the sky is gloomy, and the drizzle has blown away the previous days’ heat with a bit of coolness.
Morning reading ended, and there were still twenty minutes before class. So students went out for fresh air, while others looked for food.
This morning, it was drizzling again, and many people didn’t go out. Sheng Tang and Jiang Baocu went to the small shop inside the school’s gate to buy small cakes to eat.

She woke up late this morning and hadn’t eaten. Now she was starving.

At this mont, a drenched girl stumbled and walked up to Sheng Tang, then knelt down.
Sheng Tang was famous at school, many students knew her, and they were all slightly surprised at the scene.

She wasn’t familiar with the girl but knew who she was—Lu Yuanyuan, a student who transferred to their class this sester with excellent grades as a scholarship student.

Jiang Baocu’s small spoon fell to the ground. She quickly helped Lu Yuanyuan up.

She took Lu Yuanyuan out of the small shop.
Everything happened so quickly that no student had taken out their phone to snap a photo or record a video.
Sheng Tang quickly took both Jiang Baocu’s and her umbrella and followed them out.
The two of them supported Lu Yuanyuan all the way, walking towards the classroom, looking as if the three were good friends.
"What’s going on?" asked Jiang Baocu to the drenched Lu Yuanyuan on the way, "Sheng Tang is not familiar with you, why do you want to harm her?"

She has a very good personality, showing a smile even before she speaks.
"Sheng Tang, take a seat. Do you want so orange juice?" the girl asked.
They even had a small refrigerator.
At that mont, the prep bell rang.
The girl exclaid "Oh no."
Sheng Tang said, "You go to the classroom first, I’ll stay here with Lu Yuanyuan, and we’ll co over later."
The girl hurriedly ran off.
