Sheng Tang wrote smoothly, and before she knew it, she had filled two pages.

Everyone had left school, and now the setting sun had draped the campus’s flowers, grass, and trees in a warm golden glow.

The wind blowing through the window was cool and refreshing.

Footsteps echoed from the end of the corridor.

The footsteps were urgent.

Sheng Tang was surprised and turned to look, then she saw Gu Shiting.

Gu Shiting was running, drenched in sweat, his sideburns damp, and his eyes seed to shimr like autumn water, bright and clear.

She smiled, "Senior, why are you running so fast?"

Gu Shiting ca up and knocked on her desk, "Ti to go ho."

Sheng Tang said, "I haven’t finished my reflection yet."

"No need, Song Chen will inform your head teacher," Gu Shiting said. "Hurry up, pack your bag."

He looked anxious and his voice was urgent.

Sheng Tang glanced at the dimming sky outside and knew that night was approaching and his nyctophobia would flare up.

She quickly stuffed everything into her backpack.

In just one or two minutes, the fiery light at the horizon gradually faded, and the classroom dimd.

Gu Shiting’s face turned pale.

Sheng Tang thought, him coming to rescue her so late ant he had summoned a lot of courage, and she felt very touched.

"This child is so obedient!" Sheng Tang thought. "If he were my son, I would have no regrets in this life."

Who could be more filial to her than Gu Shiting?

With this thought, the heavy backpack was taken by Gu Shiting, "Let’s go."

His voice was inexplicably trembling.

Sheng Tang felt deeply sorry for him, thinking he was pitiful, so she firmly held his hand, "Don’t be afraid, I’m by your side!"

Gu Shiting’s emotions were cald.

They held hands as they went downstairs, and the car downstairs opened its door and turned on the interior light.

Sheng Tang got in first, and Gu Shiting imdiately followed her.

In the car, Gu Shiting still seed a bit off, his pant legs trembling incessantly.

Sheng Tang held his hand tightly again, "It’s alright, it’s alright!"

Then, she softened her tone, "How about having dinner at your house tonight? I lied to my mom, saying I’d be back later. If I go back too early, she’d think I got sent ho by my classmates and get worried."

Gu Shiting knew she was trying to comfort him.

But with her by his side, holding her hand, the dizziness he felt in the darkness lessened a bit.

He was sweating all over, his palms sticky and damp.

His mind was muddled, but he nodded, "Okay."

Sheng Tang said to the driver in front, "Let’s drop the young master off first, then I’ll crash your dinner."

The driver agreed and drove towards the villa.

Gu Shiting still held Sheng Tang’s hand, and it wasn’t until they reached the brightly lit area that he felt better.

Song Chen brought over a glass of water and so dicine.

Gu Shiting poured the dicine into his mouth, swallowed it all, and then drank so water to wash it down.

The last ti Sheng Tang brought him ho, as soon as he walked in, he also took dicine before he could sit down and talk. At that ti, Sheng Tang thought his family was giving him cold dicine.

Thinking back now, it was probably special dication, right?

"What dicine did you take?" Sheng Tang asked, "Do you have to take it regularly? Is it harmful to your body?"

Song Chen replied, "Not regularly, only occasionally, and the dosage is prescribed by the doctor, so it’s very safe. Don’t worry, Sheng Tang."

Occasionally... only when he has an episode.

Gu Shiting doesn’t get sick often.

If it weren’t for her, he would never have gone out after dark.

Sheng Tang thought he was being overly filial and felt a bit guilty.

Gu Shiting went to the bathroom.

Sheng Tang sat on the sofa, chatting with Song Chen, "How did the senior know I was still at school?"

"I told him."

"No need to tell him," Sheng Tang said, "Given his condition, he shouldn’t have gone out."

Song Chen smiled.
