An hour later, Sheng Tang finally returned to the private room.

Bai Shaolin had already left.

The other classmates were still there, playing gas and discussing what had happened earlier.

As Sheng Tang walked in, everyone gathered around her: "How is Feng Yijin?"

"She’s fine. I called a taxi for her, and she’s gone ho. It was hard to find a cab tonight, so that’s why it took so long," Sheng Tang replied.

She didn’t ntion that her casual words had brought Feng Yijin to tears.

Feng Yijin had cried like her heart was breaking.

No one can fully empathize with another person’s emotions. At least, at the mont when Feng Yijin broke down, Sheng Tang couldn’t feel that avalanche of despair.

Feng Yijin had sobbed until she was almost out of breath.

Although they had many conflicts before, Feng Yijin had given her a packet of tissues, which seed to reconcile their differences with a laugh.

In the future, as long as Feng Yijin doesn’t stir up trouble foolishly, Sheng Tang wouldn’t mind her.

"Let’s not talk about them anymore, it’s a bit of a buzzkill," Yan Jinzhi said. "Let’s continue playing. Who was speaking earlier?"

The topic was forcibly pulled back.

At eleven o’clock in the evening, the shop closed, and the classmates went their separate ways.

At the door, they hugged one another and exchanged New Year’s greetings.

The class relationship had beco much more harmonious than before.

Werewolf ga was truly a tool for building closeness.

Most of the classmates had already left, and Jiang Baocu’s car was parked a bit further away, so they waited briefly.

At this mont, a boy walked up to Sheng Tang and smiled: "Sheng Tang, you were amazing today!"

"You’ve flattered ," Sheng Tang smiled.

This boy was Sun Xiaojun, one of the two sponsored students in their class.

Sun Xiaojun and Wang Haihao were both sponsored students, but their family situations were worlds apart.

Sun Xiaojun’s family was incredibly poor. His father had taken drugs early on, squandered the family assets, and later died of illness; his mother had left ho long ago and never returned.

He lived with his grandparents in a small twenty-square-ter apartnt, where there was no room for anything else after placing two beds.

Life was extrely difficult, so he worked very hard and earned a place as a sponsored student at Huishi High School, receiving monthly allowances and free accommodation.

Although Sun Xiaojun was very poor, he was not timid. He never hid his background and occasionally shared his tough days with his classmates.

Everyone respected his honesty and believed that people shouldn’t be looked down upon because of their poverty. Considering his academic performance, Sun Xiaojun was sure to achieve sothing in the future.

Sun Xiaojun had always had a good impression of Sheng Tang because she had helped Li Ye.

Just like Li Ye, he was one of the top students with a poor family background. The two would often chat, feeling they were similar.

No matter how poor a young boy might be, he still has his own love interests. Sun Xiaojun had had a crush on Li Ye since their first year of high school. Later, Sheng Tang helped Li Ye, and he always rembered that, feeling very grateful to Sheng Tang.

Today, Sheng Tang once again helped Feng Yijin without holding grudges, further earning Sun Xiaojun’s admiration.

"Happy New Year in advance," Sun Xiaojun smiled.

"Sa to you."

After speaking, he briefly chatted with the class president and then walked to the bus stop.

Jiang Baocu’s car arrived, Sheng Tang helped her into the car, then called a taxi for herself and went ho.

She arrived ho at midnight.

The living room was brightly lit.

Gu Shiting was sitting on the sofa reading a book; he looked up and smiled at her when he saw her co in.

Sheng Tang ca in from the freezing cold outside, and the sight of that smile instantly ward her heart.

No matter how busy or how late, having soone waiting at ho for her was so blissful!

"You’re still up?" she asked Gu Shiting with a smile.
