“Damn wizard!” The owl monster rolled in the open space downstairs, screaming to avoid the curses, leaving feathers behind.
Its voice was so weird. It sounded as mournful and ominous as a real owl.
“You can speak human language?!” Evan’s wand threw another red light and hit the monster, which stumbled and fell heavily to the ground, but imdiately struggled to get up.
Evan was surprised. With his current magic power, normal people would imdiately faint when hit once with his Stunning Spell. Hagrid would only faint after being hit three or four tis. Evan had cast the Stunning Spell three tis in a row at the monster and it could still struggle. Its magic resistance was almost as strong as that of a half-giant.
What on earth was that? Evan had never seen it before, nor had he seen relevant information in books.

He panted violently, looking at the burnt window fra in disbelief, with an expression of extre panic on his face.
If it wasn’t Evan in the room, but another child, he would have been murdered. Just like the dead witch Barr talked about before, his skin would have been peeled off by the monster.
“I didn’t expect such an incident. We shouldn’t have left you alone.”
“Don’t worry too much. The monster’s not that strong, but it can resist spells and it can use magic,” said Evan slowly. “From what happened just now, I think it may not be a normal monster, but a wizard.”
“You an it’s a disguised wizard?”
“No, I an that monster should be a wizard who has transford her body by so kind of magic in order to gain more power, just like Voldemort did, but the transformation was obviously not complete,” said Evan thoughtfully, looking up at the surprised Sirius. “Of course, this is just speculation. To be honest, I find it really interesting. This Dark Magic is very rare. Did she want to fuse with the owl?”
For a few seconds, there was silence in the room, and no one spoke.
Sirius, Hagrid, and the bar owner Barr all stared at Evan, seemingly unable to understand what he was talking about.
