This girl was bursting with a sense of justice, and like Sirius, she tended to act impulsively.

Putting aside whether anyone would accept her complaint against the Egyptian Ministry of Magic and Gringotts to the International Confederation of Wizards; the fact that she had expressed this idea so clearly was impossible for those shrewd wizards and cunning goblins to fail to see it.

Now that they had noticed, would they still let Hélène find evidence?

If by chance she did find sothing, would they just stand by and do nothing?

Looking at Hélène, whose face was flushed with indignation and excitent, Evan actually wanted to say, “Miss, you’re in serious danger right now.”

It was just like before — because she was ostracized, she left Paris for Dijon.

If Evan and the others hadn’t happened to pass by, Hélène would most likely have been killed by the Owl-Woman and beco a sacrifice to the devil.

It was the sa now, except the situation in Egypt was far more complex than that in the French town of Dijon.

“What do you think, Evan, are you going to help ?” Hélène asked as she leaned closer.

“These pieces of evidence will be hard to find, won’t they?”

“I have a way, but no one to help . The guys who ca with — I don’t trust them,” Hélène said bluntly. “But now that you’re here, and with Sirius arriving tomorrow, the three of us can work together again…”

“We’ll talk about it later. I think what we should consider now is how to save those trapped inside the ruins.”

“There’s not much we can do. Unless the blocked passage is cleared, no one can get in. Maybe the demon isn’t even in there anymore. Right now, the only chance we have is to expose the Egyptian Ministry of Magic and the goblins’ conspiracy.”

“Well, I might have a way. Take to the ruins to have a look,” said Evan.

“You have a way?” Hélène’s eyes widened as she looked at Evan in surprise. “What are you planning to do?”

“Let’s go to the ruins first and take a look at the situation. I’ll tell you then!” said Evan.

He couldn’t take Hélène back with him because in the tiline he was returning to, she would still be there, but he didn’t have that concern.

These two months were already lost ti for Evan, as he had been in Egypt more than two thousand years ago.

Therefore, going back to the past didn’t matter to him and he had no concerns.

“Wait, you’re not planning to go now, are you?” Hélène stopped Evan. “You just ca back from the desert and you’re still weak. Rest for a day — Sirius will be here tomorrow, and then we can all go to the ruins together…”

What’s the point of waiting? Sirius couldn’t go back to the past with him anyway.

His arrival tomorrow wouldn’t be of any help to Evan.

If Sirius got impulsive and insisted on using the Ti-Turner with Evan, things might be even more troubleso.

After using the Eye of Horus to change the rules, Evan would remain in that tiline and would not return…

This tiline was going to be discarded. Everyone and everything that had happened on it would no longer exist.

This was the rule, the power of creation. Ti magic created a possibility and then discarded it.

In the entire world, there were countless possibilities for the future, corresponding to countless tilines.

But only one would ultimately be chosen, and the rest of the tilines would be scrapped…

From beginning to end, there is only one tiline, but the network composed of countless tilines is extrely large. This is what the Ti Titan told Evan.

In fact, if he weren’t worried about more unexpected events, he would want to use the Ti-Turner right now.

However, it would be safer to use it inside the ruins. Evan had just analyzed his current situation: His advantage was that he could command the demon, but his disadvantage was that he didn’t know who the Raven’s Claw wizards hiding in the dark were, or their intentions.

If the evil gods or the ancient Egyptian gods were to detect his ti travel and told those people…

Evan intended to solve all the problems in one go instead of going back and entangling himself with Raven’s Claw and Voldemort.

Therefore, he planned to return to the mont when the Obelisks chanism was triggered, using the demon to drive everyone out. And he would enter the prison himself to activate the weapon, destroying the Ruins of Amun Ra and the ancient Egyptian gods within.

“I’ve rested enough. I’ll go now. When Sirius cos tomorrow, we can act directly.”

He and Hélène ca to the Ruins of Amun Ra, where several horrifying cracks had appeared in the original square.

One of the chasms stretched far into the distance, with no end in sight.

From this, it could be seen that the scale of the entire Ruins of Amun Ra was much larger than previously imagined.

Hélène briefed him on the current situation inside the ruins. The small carts were no longer usable, so the thod of entering the ruins now was through a pipeline used by the previous excavation team — the sa terrible one that Rawya had ntioned to Evan.

From there, they could enter the ruins, but in reality, not many people ventured inside.

“They only go to completely safe areas. I’ve been inside a few tis myself,” she said as she led Evan to a nearby hole from which strange sounds and gusts of cold wind erged. “There are a few breaks down below, so we’ll need to be careful when we descend.”

“Hmm, I’ll go first,” said Evan, taking out his wand as he entered the hole.

The pipe continued downwards, with a steep slope and rugged terrain, a bit like the sewer pipes at Hogwarts.

There was a rope inside, and Evan and Hélène grabbed the rope and moved down carefully.

Just as Hélène said, there were several breaks in the middle, requiring them to jump over or use magic to pass.

The entire pipeline was obviously very unstable, and the situation beca more obvious the further down they went. The iron pipe walls were covered in cracks, and in so places, the pressure from the gravel caused unsettling creaks, as if the pipe could break at any mont.

“This is all caused by that demon. All the protective magic of the ruins has been activated. The situation down there is very unstable.”

That demon was a warden left behind by Ramses II, and its mission was to destroy all intruders.

Perhaps when it was summoned and found signs of intrusion all over the Ruins of Amun Ra, it activated all the magic in one go!

When Evan and Hélène got to the bottom, he could no longer recognize that he had ever been in this room.

“The road leading to the Obelisks chamber hasn’t been cleared. When we first arrived, we could still hear noises coming from inside, but now there’s nothing!” Hélène panted as she spoke. “However, they did manage to clear a path on the other side, leading to the edge of the ruins. The adventurers who were rescued were all in that area.”

Evan looked around carefully and found that there was indeed no way to get in.

“Okay, what are you going to do? What’s your solution?” Hélène asked.

“I plan to use the Ti-Turner to go back in ti and change history,” said Evan, pulling out the Ti-Turner.

“Ti-Turner … go back to the past!” Hélène repeated, confused, as if she didn’t quite understand what he was saying.

Then, her eyes widened in astonishnt as she watched Evan manipulate the device, twisting it a few tis before disappearing right in front of her…
