From a practical point of view, I'm "reinventing the wheel," but I like the process of ntal training itself. I'm not a genius, and I don't know everything in the world to design sothing brilliant in a couple of minutes.
After the History of Magic, where Professor Beans, or rather his ghost, always told us in a monotonous mumbling tone about the wars with the giants, we went to Potions. Everything went according to the classical sche there. Snape told us that only talented or persistent students will attend the extended course from the sixth to the seventh years inclusive and told us that all year we will brew complex potions that are asked on O.W.L.s.
