After returning ho filled with rage, Marc took it out on the first woman he saw in front of him. It was at that mont that Luca bravely appeared, attempting to defend Alia by throwing a piece of LEGO at the man.

However, this only enraged Marc even more. If he was already soone who easily gave in to his anger, under the influence of alcohol, he had even fewer restraints.

He turned with a murderous glare, staring at the child before him with clear intent to harm. He didn’t even bother to question where the boy had co from, he simply marched toward him.

The small boy gripped a toy sword as if it were a real weapon and faced his opponent. Though he trembled with fear, Luca refused to back down.

"You’re going to regret this, brat!" Marc growled, raising his hand as if to strike the boy.

Alia, still on the floor, groaned in pain, clutching the side of her body where Marc had kicked her. But upon hearing the man’s shout, she lifted her eyes and took in the scene.

The sight of Marc, a large, furious man, charging at little Luca ignited sothing deep inside her.

A fury, burning with an almost supernatural intensity, began to consu her.

At that mont, her maternal instincts surged stronger than ever before, as if her soul had finally found the purpose it was ant for in this world.

And she would not allow that man to lay a single finger on that child.

The pain in her body vanished, replaced by a surge of adrenaline. Her blood boiled with an indescribable rage.

"Don’t you dare touch him, you monster!" Her voice erupted as a fierce roar, like that of a wild beast.

Marc instinctively paused, turning toward the voice, montarily halting his movent before he could strike the boy. Then, Alia struggled to her feet and charged toward him with an almost animalistic aggression.

For a brief mont, Marc hesitated. Sothing about her expression made him instinctively realize that this was dangerous. And he probably should have trusted his instincts, because a mother’s protective fury could be brutal.

But Marc was an idiot.

He turned toward her and sneered, "As if you could stop . I don’t know where you ca from, stupid girl, but I’m going to teach you a lesson." He noted that this woman was not his wife.

But before he could do anything else, Alia lunged at him with surprising speed, grabbing onto him with all her strength. With her nails, she clawed at him, nearly blinding him as she ca dangerously close to gouging out his eyes.

He tried to kick her away, but the pain had no effect on her. And when he tried to punch her, the woman grabbed his arm and bit him like a wild animal, to the point where the taste of blood spread across her mouth.

Marc, in desperation, managed to throw the woman away, but the difference in determination between the two was imnse.

"You think you can hurt a boy in front of and get away with it?!"

Alia roared before pushing him with such force that he stumbled backward, tripping over his own feet and crashing into a nearby lamp, falling to the ground.

Marc tried to recover and lunged forward again, kicking the woman away, but this ti the girl managed to dodge his blow.

With the man on the ground, she began punching his face desperately and brutally. At the sa ti, he grabbed her hair, and the two rolled across the floor for a while as she continued scratching and biting him as much as she could.

Even when the man managed to grab Alia’s head and slam it forcefully against the floor, it did nothing to stop her. She only beca even more brutal, and with a strength that seed impossible for such a small body, she kicked him away.

"You will NEVER touch him again! Do you understand?!"

She quickly lunged at the man, hitting his stomach and pinning him against the wall. He tried to resist, but his blows seed increasingly weaker, and due to the alcohol, he struggled even to coordinate his movents and land a proper punch on the woman.

Then, Alia grabbed the man’s neck and squeezed tightly, her veins burning with hatred. And she would have killed him if he hadn’t managed to kick her away at the last minute.

After all that, Marc tried to get up and move toward the girl, but his legs gave out. He fell to his knees, his vision swaying. The alcohol and exhaustion were pushing him to his limit.

Finally, he no longer had the strength to hold himself up and fell face-first to the ground.

Alia stood there, panting, her body still trembling with the energy consuming her. She watched with a satisfied smile as her enemy finally collapsed on the floor.

Luca ran to her, hugging her legs. "Aunt Alia, are you okay?" he asked, his voice filled with concern.

She crouched down and hugged the boy tightly, finally feeling the adrenaline begin to fade. "I’m fine, Luca. And you? Did he hurt you?"

Before the boy could answer, Marc murmured again, trying to get up, which made the two go on guard once more. However, suddenly, the man fell again. And behind his large body appeared a small girl.

"Sweet dreams, asshole," she murmured in an aggressive, hate-filled tone that Alia didn’t even know Lilith was capable of.

Then the little girl sighed deeply, taking deep breaths. Not only had she put all the other children to sleep, ensuring that they wouldn’t wake up and find out what had happened, but she still had to use her powers quickly on that man. All of this had exhausted her.

"Haa! Haaa!" Lilith sighed after dragging Marc to his bed in his room.

There, the man could have perverted dreams, in which the wild sex he would have with a prostitute would serve as justification for the scratch marks on his body.

That said, unfortunately, the dreams would be pleasurable. As much as Lilith didn’t want that to be the case, it was the only way to erase the mories of the fight that had happened. Or at least make them appear distant, almost like a hallucination.

Alia, who had helped her with this Herculean task, simply lay down on the couch in the man’s room and passed out as the adrenaline in her body subsided.

Luca also ended up falling asleep, lying down next to the girl who had protected him.

It was undoubtedly a beautiful scene. But she didn’t have ti to admire it. The first thing she did was check the cara recordings.

She hadn’t expected it to be useful so soon, but she was glad she had installed everything that day. And, as she expected, the attempted aggression against Luca was perfectly visible in the video.

However it was right as she was analyzing the recording that a man entered the house. He was wearing a formal suit and appeared to be in his thirties. His body was muscular but not enough to be eye-catching.

That said, the important thing was that he saw the video Lilith had in her hands.

The man was Albert, Marc’s driver and bodyguard, whom he had sent to uncover the identities of the two prostitutes who had humiliated him. He wanted to be able to destroy their lives later.

Because of this, the man had returned only afterward and arrived at that terrible mont. Obviously, he had no idea what was happening there, but upon seeing the incriminating evidence against his master in the video, he imdiately said,

"Girl, hand that computer."

Lilith responded by floating away from the man. And since Marc’s house was excessively spacious and tall, the little girl easily stayed out of the man’s reach.

Albert naturally doubted his own eyes for a mont, unable to accept what he was seeing. Still, he quickly thought of a plan to deal with the situation before him.

The man grabbed Luca by the hair. He had quickly noticed from the video that everything had started with the attempt to protect the child, so he imagined the boy would make a good hostage.

"If you don’t co down here and give that video, I’ll hurt the boy," he threatened without much conviction, as the boy struggled in his arms.

And it was at that mont that Liam also arrived at the house and furiously broke down the door. In an instant, he ran to Marc’s room, finding that scene before him.

In a quick movent, he punched Albert in the stomach, forcing him to release Luca, whom Liam quickly saved.

Then, Liam delivered a powerful kick to his enemy, forcing him to step back. However, the man still chose to get up and return to the fight.

And that would be a decision he would deeply regret for the rest of his life, as his opponent was furious.
