Life? Death? In the gorydamn middle?

Noah didn't know at which point of existence he stood as the pain flooded through his body, ripping away everything in its wake.

He began to writhe on the ground like a worm trapped in mud, squealing and screaming, face filled with tears and snot, as spit mixed with blood spilled out of his mouth.

Maryam stood transfixed, eyes bulging like balloons, unable to do anything but watch her son going through such a wrenching process.

She had tried to get close, yet to no avail. Noah was thrashing so hard, so powerfully, that a cloud of dust curtained all around, thick and heavy.

Also, a trail of blood trickled down from Maryam's nose, caused by an erratic slap from her own son in his pain.

The First Soul felt no anger. Only worry and fear consud her mind.

She tried again to get closer to him, be damned the pain he would inflict on her, but suddenly a barrier surrounded Noah completely, drowning his screams like a man under the sea.

The Soul Ruler ran, almost tripping over her own feet. Reaching the green barrier, she raised both hands and began to slam it with her fists, seeking to destroy it.

Each strike caused the realm to shake.

Yet it didn't change anything.

She was still far too weak to even make a dent in the Will Eternal's weakest barrier.

All of this, Noah knew nothing of. Or maybe just a small part of it.

His mind was hazy, and he felt like he was in a dream, watching himself in such a pitiful state. And yet, he could sense how his body was being torn open in a very thodical manner.

His bones splintered, organs shredded, leaving nothing behind but mangled pieces of flesh, bone, and blood. Even his World-Heart Earth was destroyed.

Noah let out a whimpering cry worthy of a dying dog. Maryam could not hear it, but she felt the pain. She began to cry with him, kneeling weakly in front of the barrier.

She was lost, not knowing what was happening to her son. The worst began to whisper inside her mind.

Gaia did not fare better. Still, she knew all power had a price.

Especially for the one Noah wished to obtain. So she steeled her immortal heart and watched as her selfborn son went through the transformation process.

After his organs ca the tissues. These were sliced neatly, letting out rivers of blood. Next ca his neurons, and they followed the sa fate as the others.

After that were his cells, before finally reaching the very molecules that made up his body, mind, and emotions.

The pain was impossible to describe. It was the kind no being could ever hope to fathom.

Noah was being undone. Like his whole existence, from body to mind to everything, was slowly being unmade by a kind of power he never believed possible.

If he had a mouth at that ti, you would have seen him crying like a baby abandoned at birth. No. Worse than that.

Nonetheless, there was a sense of coldness and clarity that grasped his existence at that mont, and understanding dawned upon him amidst the agony.

And right at that mont, Noah's body - if it could even be called that was nothing but a cluster of atoms.

Everything else of him was destroyed. Only atoms remained. And there...

...began the true creation.

Noah knew from his knowledge that everything in the universe and beyond was mainly made of atoms.

And the sa atoms that made up the human body were the sa atoms that made up stars and more.

All depended on the composition and the direction those atoms took.

That day, Noah watched how the atoms that made his existence chose a very unique pathway of combination.

And the result was staggering.

Slowly, but steadily, they began to assemble together once more.

A mind-blowing power thundered down on Maryam's created realm. She coughed, mouth open in a wordless scream as her body burst into a rain of gory blood and ashes.

The realm was destroyed in an instant, letting Noah's wives and the others glimpse the event happening inside.

Madness almost claid their minds.

But Gaia imdiately acted, aiding Maryam's revival while at the sa

ti putting the realm back in place.

She shook her head, recognizing that a certain force was going against Noah's bloodline birth. But it was too late to stop now.

Gaia found herself unconsciously smiling, thrill and excitent pulsing inside her in a way she had never felt before.

Maryam, anwhile, gasped, her breathing coming out shallow and ragged. Her face was drenched in sweat. Yet the first thing she did after regaining consciousness was to look for her son.

Noah's process was steadily developing. The sa event happened,

but this ti, in complete reverse.

Atoms began to create molecules, bringing into the fray mysterious particles, forming a kind of molecules never before seen.

Gaia gasped in wonder.

After the molecules ca the cells, then neurons and the pathways

linking them to all the other parts.

His mind returned, and it returned sharper and more primordial.

More alien.

The cells glided away and made up the tissues, followed by the

organs.

Here, Earth ca back. Nothing changed for the world externally. But one could only wonder what happened internally.

Earth and all organs were connected to each other and the rest of the

whole structure by veins of gold and crimson. Those veins ca from overhead, the heavens and hells in their purest form given by Gaia, and coursed through his whole body.

At that point, bones made of emptiness appeared. Then flesh began to jiggle and writhe, appearing and stitching together along the tall fra of Noah's newly created body.

His eyes ford, followed by his whole features and his hair.

Slowly, the authority pressing on them lowered considerably, signaling the approaching end of Noah's transmutation from his past

self to his newly evolved self.

The barrier went down.

Maryam staggered back up. She took a breath, then approached, taking in the new sight of Noah, and shock vibrated inside her gut.

"Soul Rot!" she exclaid.

"By my own glorious na!" Gaia followed, though her voice remained

unheard except by her lovely creations surrounding her.

Noah's new appearance truly was sothing.

He lay there on the ground filled with his blood, yet his own body was

devoid of it. The blood was running away from him, as if afraid of

staining his holy yet demonic body.

Noah had increased in size, now standing at ten feet. His body was white-creamy. His chest, back, and shoulders were riddled with gold and crimson tattoos, describing the birth of reality and its own

destruction.

On his right palm, the symbol of a snake biting its tail and shaped like

an infinity was ford, glowing gold.

On his left palm, the symbol of a circle half white and half black, constantly rotating, yet glowing faintly with red, was etched. His head was ignited with gold and crimson hair, long and thick. Two

horns erupted from his skull, deep black, exuding a feeling of nothingness.

His ears were slightly elongated, like those of an elf. Unhurriedly, Noah opened his eyes, revealing a pair of heterochromic

eyes, the left shining red, the right gold. Their pupils were the sa

as those of Gaia.

The first thing Noah witnessed after opening his eyes were the glaring notifications from Providence, who looked uncharacteristically excited.

Noah allowed himself a faint smile. Then his wife continued, happy

beyond asure for her husband,

Noah's eyes widened.

The Prince watched the interfaces with surprised eyes, then felt

hands closing tightly around his body in an embrace.

"Brandon!" Maryam cried, her voice knotted with worry. "My baby, are

you okay?"

At her question, Noah could only smile, his mind swirling as new ideas popped up inside it.

"Mother?" the Prince called.

"Y-Yes, my son? Are you feeling unwell? Where? Tell-!"

"Do you want a Gift?"

A pause. Maryam craned her neck, utterly confused.

Then,

"W-What?" -End of Chapter 448-
